The T-bird isn't my favorite, but I think she put lime in it by accident. It was actually supposed to be pineapple and cherry. I like stopping by Twisted Sugar when I'm next door getting my nails done. I recently found out that they have a loyalty program, but I haven't figured out how to earn points as they never ask for my phone number. (And I never remember to ask when I'm there) I love the soda options and that you can get Coke Zero as the base. Coke zero is superior to Diet Coke! I'll fight you on that, haha. I didn't love their larger cookies, but they have small 3 packs of chocolate chip cookies on the counter that are less expensive and taste delicious. Just a basic cookie with flavored frostings. I bought a Key Lime and Lemon cookie. Both cookies were the same but both w different frostings. Both The frosting and the cookie itself was nothing special. The cookie was basic and the frosting was pure sugar. Very similar to Crumbl on the West Coast. These cookies are more of a novelty. This is not a criticism of the business itself. It seems popular and busy - for now. However what this business consists of is two types of product offerings- cookies and flavored sodas. There are several "recipes" of sodas on the menu. But in practice all these are are simple fountain sodas into which they squirt different flavored syrups or add things like flavored coffee creamer. However I think the business model is flawed. These "recipes" could easily be made at home, so why pay a premium price for something so easily made at home? I didn't try the cookies but they did look good. My daughter really liked hers. I thought my soda was just ok. I just can't but think its popularity will not last. read more

My husband was sweet enough to stop on his way home from an appt near by and brought me home 4 different cookies. Unfortunately I could only eat one of them. The rest were not even cooked. Not even the edges. So they went in the garbage. I get you probably underbake them so they taste fresher longer but this was really bad and doing yourselves a disservice for not just making them even edible . Was in the area so I figured I would try them out. Got the cookies and cream and a basic chocolate chip. The cookies and cream cookie is a sugar cookie with vanilla icing and chocolate syrup with some crushed Oreos on top. The chocolate chip cookie was firm but not hard. It didn't crumble when you broke it apart, so it was easy to eat. Not the best tasting cookies in the world, but not the worst. I was having a sweet craving so I typed cupcakes into Google while I was in the Ballantyne area. Twisted Sugar was the first thing that popped up. When I walked in, I was greeted by the cashier and asked if they had cupcakes. She told me that they had none, but that they sell different types of frosted flavored cookies. They have quite an assortment of soft cookies and all of the cookies have a layer of frosting. Many of the cookies are stored in the refrigerator but take about 10 to 15 minutes to get to room temperature once taken out. A cookie wasn't exactly what I was craving, but they did look really good in the display so I decided to buy a caramel sugar cookie just to try it out. The cookie its self was OK tasting. The frosting is sweet and there is just a hint of caramel from the drizzle on top. On a later occasion I tried the oatmeal chocolate chip and I strongly recommend- it was MmMm Good! They also have quite a few types of different soda flavored drinks and various twisted milkshake flavors. For one cookie it was about $3.40. They do have a discounted pack where you could get six cookies for about $18. They offer a few gluten-free cookie options. Inside the shop, there's about one or two tables where you could sit and enjoy the treats that they serve. There is ample parking within the shopping complex. read more

Pretty cool sweet spot in the area. There is plenty of shared parking. This place specializes in customizable drinks and cookies. The place was clean when I entered. They have monthly cookie specials. I decided to go with they banana cream and cotton candy. I wanted to do the peanut butter, but they only had nutella it would be great with dark chocolate. Staff were friendly and prices are average for a treat 3.50 and up depending on what you desire. I wasn't greeted when I entered, no recommendations were made, and I wasn't thanked for my purchase. They have a rewards program. And I found out about that when I paid. The cookies are not room temp and made to order or kept warm they are in a refrigerator and pre made. They have some stuff completion with crumble as a warm fresh cookie is the best. The cookies were okay. It would be cool if their twisted drinks had alcohol. Hope they can improve on the customer service or your experience is better than mine. read more

I stopped by Twisted Sugar for the first time on a whim today and I am so glad I did! The woman at the counter was so helpful and walked me through the menu. They have specialty sodas and twisters (like a milkshake), but I came for the cookies! I ordered a six pack with 2 chocolate chip, and oatmeal chocolate chip, Samoa, a frosted Oreo one, and a Reece's peanut butter cookie. I had my eye on the Reese's and it was amazing! So soft and really great peanut butter flavor. My husband had the oatmeal chocolate chip and said it was really good and from seeing how quickly my eleven year old devoured the frosted Oreo cookie, I would say that one was great too. My husband, son and I stopped in here recently and tried their drinks and cookies. The prices were reasonable for what they had. All 3 cookies were good but the sugar cookie was a little dense. The two young women working were not exactly spot on for friendliness ... they were okay but it seemed like we were tolerated not any more than that. They spent the remaining time of our visit in the back. No goodbye or thank you when we left (as they possibly didn't even know we left). I would like to go back and try another one of their cookies but probably won't because of the service. (My husband even commented on it as we left and he rarely notices things like that.) read more
