I received a notification that my order for pickup was ready after about 10-15 minutes. I got there about 5-10 minutes after that notification and immediately smelled the store. Not so pleasant smell but here we are. I give them my name and they didn't even make my order. The woman up front looked up my order and printed it out to start making it. Through the app, I ordered an açaí bowl and made a couple of modifications. Little did I know she didn't see them on her end. This location, by far, has the worst service. I have been to this location several times because it is close to my job, and each time has been unpleasant. I walked into the store around 12:40 pm on 8/6/2024, and a store associate looked me in my face with no greeting and proceeded to fulfill an online order. I stood there for about two to three minutes to see if he would acknowledge me or call someone from the back to assist me, and he did not. I decided to leave the store because why would I give my money to a store location that does not put customer service first? Please hire better members of your team. This is my first time here, it's smaller which is not an issue at all. Customer service is non existent. There was no greeting, no communication. It was not busy at least from what I could see. There were only 2 customers inside , and this location does not have a drive through so I'm confused why a simple hello or one second could not be said. I wish I could give zero stars. Walked in and I wasn't greeted. The server just yelled "are you Rachael?" and when I said no she just went back to making a smoothie. So I waited, and waited and waited. She didn't ask me if I was picking up or placing an order. Nothing. I guess she was making multiple online orders but I wouldn't know because she never spoke to any of the four people standing there waiting to place an order. She didn't apologize for the delay. Just ignored us like we weren't even there. Finally two of us just left. And on top of that the place was filthy. ALL of the blenders were dirty and just sitting out needing to be washed. ALL of the containers for the powders that you can add to your drink were open and sitting on top of the counter with dirty measuring cups in them. Quite unsanitary. The lobby floors are sticky and I it smells like dirty mop water in there. Save you time and money. Very poor customer service. They've been around for over 30 years and have hundreds of locations worldwide. This Smoothie King location is tiny. It really just amounts to one small room, but that's all you really need to get in and get out with your smoothie. Smoothies come in three sizes: small (20 oz), medium (32 oz), and large (40 oz) and range in price from approximately $4-8. I usually get mediums and they come out to over $6 including tax -- kind of expensive for what amounts to crushed ice, blended fruit, and flavoring. I do find the smoothies satisfying though. The menu can be daunting as there are over 70 different fruit and flavor combinations to choose from. To make it easier, Smoothie King categorizes their smoothies into functions such as "Stay Healthy," "Trim Down," and "Get Energy." I just find the fruits I'm craving and go with that. I just walked into this store 20 minutes ago and ordered a Strawberry Hulk. While the 3 woman joked around about someone being drunk at a party, they made a drink for a customer that walked in just before me. The employees seemed to be confused about my strawberry hulk since two orders printed. One woman made a strawberry hulk and another woman threw out the one she started to make. As she handed me my drink, a man walked in and the same woman that handed me my drink asked him if he ordered a strawberry hulk and he said yes. She realized that is why they had two orders. I thought nothing of it and kept walking to my car. Once I got to work and took my first sip I realized this was not a regular strawberry hulk. It looked pink but tasted like peanut butter! I called the store immediately, directly from the app at (770) 612-2919. After 4 rings a recording comes on stating there isn't enough memory to leave a message. I called 3 more times and no one answered. I personally do not like peanut butter so there is no way I'm drinking this. Additionally, if I were allergic... this could have had a horrible outcome. Especially had I decided to drink it while driving on my way to work. At the very least, I expect to get my money back.
