I just had an amazing experience with the lady at the counter super upbeat and kind. She literally helped four of us in line and was so sweet. Honestly a 10/10. Excellent customer service and no joke we all walked in at 10 minutes to close. #SheDaBest Rachel is phenomenal! I'd hire her at my business for sure. read more

We came in for two Smoothies and there was only one person working. This store is in a busy area and needs to be staffed appropriately. If you're in a hurry do not come here. If you nothing but time to kill then come here. I personally will take my business back the store on Old Milton. read more

Staff is awesome and always fast. I come weekly 4-5 times a week for the Strawberry Hulk! Keep up the good work!

I ordered online and received this product. I was surprised that I would receive this. I didn't have time to address the issue in person. This is the second time I have come to this location and received a below mediocre product. I should have granola and the portion should be more when it comes to the açaí. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner of this location. This does not look edible in my opinion and the fruit looks old. read more

Friendly, quick service and smoothies are Huge (if you want--40 oz!). Tried the peanut butter shake with dates and bananas and it was very filling. Skipped lunch and just wanted a smoothie and this fit the bill. Very convenient location close to the LA Fitness. Definitely my new smoothie place. read more

Yikes!! My wife and our 5 year old granddaughter bought 2 smoothies from this location around 1pm on Saturday , May 4th. After leaving the store it was discovered that pieces of bright blue plastic was in the bottom of both drinks. My wife returned to the store and requested to speak to the manager . She was told he was not available and employees seemed less than concerned about what had happen. My wife requested a refund which she was given and asked that the manager call her--as of today she has not been contacted. We are in the process of calling their corporate offices to report this location and this incident. WE WONT BE BACK! read more

The next time I visited he (the guy server) created my drink but unknown to me he spat in my drink or worse . He then served it to me with a very intimidating, deviant facial expression. I got sick, 30m to 2H laters . I work a job and anyone going here wouldn't have time for this type of horrible envious behavior. It all started because I tipped a female server a large tip , the guy associate saw and became extremely jealous. Anyway I am taking this to the law, I have proof ask me for the drink before its to late. I am also taking this to my social media, getting the guys name, and face to release online. read more

Got my wisdom teeth out and simply want a smoothie for it everyday. I wait in drive thru (WITH ONE OTHER CAR IN LINE) and it take 20 minutes to get my order. Mind you, their is one car in front of me at the window and he won't take my order. I'm sorry but if you can't work at a smoothie place alone (as we were told) then this isn't the job for you. Walked in to picked up my order on Sat evening 10/3. Both employees were hanging over the counter talking to a customer with their mask hanging off one ear. The customer had no mask at all. Customer was slurping on his smoothie and placing if back down on the counter. Made my $12 smoothie with no mask on. Put it on to hand it to me. Sadly, I walked out and immediately tossed it. I won't be back. read more

Waited over 15 minutes for a smoothie. There was only one person working which isn't his fault but should've been more considering it was about 6:10 when I went in and left at 6:30. Seemed like a pretty prime time. It smells like rotten fruit when you walk in and my smoothie was basically water no smoothie consistency what so ever. I should've walked out instead of waiting. If your going to make me wait a long time at least make a good smoothie. Won't be coming back to this loc Updated review. Had emailed about the bad service I received and this was the email I received in return from the owner. Being a daughter to a business owner I know how important customer service is and the fact that you should always do your best to try to make your client or customer happy and take what the issue was and try to fix it. Instead I received a condescending apology seems like a waste of time on his part to me. I was surprised a business owner would even speak the way he did to a customer but looking at the reviews on yelp and google on the customer service I'm not surprised anymore. As for King's English The corporate website would not allow me to double space to put a period. Seems to me that isn't where the focus should be. Clearly the establishment needs some customer service training. There is no doubt in my mind that if this wasn't a chain it wouldn't do as well as he claims it does. read more

If I could give this place a lower star i would. This place is disgusting you can tell there is never a manager working. I see roaches on the floor and even worse WHERE THEY MAKE THE SMOOTHIES. do not come here it's disgusting. The restroom smells so bad I had to hold my breath it is never clean. You can tell the manager or employees never even bother to clean it because of how bad it already is. The shelves are never stocked and even worse when it was the items were EXPIRED. That's so gross you can even imagine their ingredients are probably expired too. Their fruits are never stocked up, I got a glimpse of the back room and it looked so filthy. I ordered a smoothie bowl once and all the fruits on it looked like it had mold on it. I mean how are they okay with this?? This store should be taken down it is never clean it's always so disgusting. One morning it smelt like pure bleach that should be dangerous that's their way of cleaning just pouring bleach all over the floor who ever made the mop water should be fired. Most employees are always sitting down on their phones not doing anything. I think I saw the manager once and he was acting like a little kid just singing instead of helping his employee. So bad read more

Just got my smoothie king today and the staff was awesome Keep up the Great work team. you all have make my day already great

Not surprised to see other poor reviews here. Needs new management and staff. Staff couldn't have been more unpleasant if they tried, unresponsive, overtly bored, unengaging. On their phones the whole time I was there. Sorry to burden you guys with my patronage! That alone is not enough for a negative review however. They also screwed up my simple order, and I could tell they were going to before they did, barely paying attention. Then after they supposedly "fixed it" something was off about it still. Not sure what but I've had the smoothie 100 times from the other location and something was not right. Get it together guys. read more

I just got home with my smoothie bowl. I started eating it and immediately noticed that something was wrong with it. There were chunks of ice throughout the bowl. Like huge chunks of ice. There was nothing fresh about the bowl. The fruit tasted weird and then they left off the honey. I immediately call the store and the guy answered saying"hello". I thought I had the wrong number. I had to ask if this was smoothie king. I explained to him that I just left and the way my smoothie bowl was and he said he remembered me but there is nothing he could do bc that's just how they are made. He was old me verbatim, "this location does not have fresh bowls and sometimes bc it is pre-made, this could happen". What!!!! Are you serious? I told him I live right down the road and would like to bring it back. He said he can't do anything. The bowl was NOT edible at all. This is the second time I have experienced something with this location. Avoid this location. read more

I have only tried 2 of their smoothies here, but man are they good! I have tried the strawberry kiwi (?) I think that's the name. It's the gluten free one. It is very creamy and has a tartness too it that compliments the sweetness of it. I just really love it. The other one I tried was blueberry madness. That was great as well. You have to be careful with places like this, though, because sometimes certain things on their menu can be misleading. Some things aren't as healthy as they seem. I do like how they sell little snacks and cliff bars. You can also add things to your smoothie for energy, protein, etc. A little pricey, but you're practically getting a meal in a cup so it's worth it. read more

Had a terrible experience. The person at the counter brushed me off at the door because he was to busy talking to his friend across the counter. Ever watch the movie, Zootopia, where they walk into the DMV and they only have sloths working behind the counter? Well, it's just like that here, but instead of smiling sloths, it's unmotivated teenage kids looking at each other while sharing one blender container. My husband's cup wasn't filled all the way up, and I watched them pour the remaining amount in a kids cup and take to the back for their own enjoyment. One star because smoothie formula is consistent, otherwise, expect to wait forever and shafted on customer service. read more

Gross!!! Scooped ice out of the sink where they wash their hands to use for my smoothie!!! Yuck!!!

I was a little weary of trying out this location due to the reviews below but more often than not customers will take the time to leave reviews when they're upset and not when they're satisfied. There was nothing wrong with this location, it's smoothies nor its service. The cashier greeted me when I came in, the location was clean and my smoothie was great. I was in and out within 5 minutes. The only thing that was off was the scanner couldn't be located to redeem Smoothie King rewards. But hey, that's what happens when you have teenagers staffing the location. I've got my receipt so I can manually redeem my points and all is well in the world. I work nearby so I'll be back! Thanks again! read more

I LOVE(D) SMOOTHIE KING... UNTIL...I went to this location. Just to give you an idea of how often I went to this location as well as the location on Houze Rd (who is owned by the same person btw) the handful of awesome employees (nick and a few others are GREAT)...I walk in and they all know my "usual"... As I did go there 5-6 times per week. After now frequenting this location for almost 2years I am SO disappointed over the unacceptable behavior and treatment that I've experienced over the last month or so. I loved the fact that the owner Josh hires teens and college students as I am a mother of teens as well and for the most part they are all very respectful and polite. During a couple of my visits (either by myself, me bringing my family of 6 or entire sports teams) I encountered VERY rude treatment by one particular employee named Ryan... He made a smoothie I ordered (I've only had one kind of smoothie there and that's all I order so trust me, I know how it's made) and it was super watery and just not right. They were very busy so, I totally understood that they were in a rush, I get it... But I just mentioned to him, hey can we just blend this a little longer etc.. Trying to make light of it...He then copped a major attitude, snatched the smoothie from me (let me remind you there is a store FULL of customers- very embarrassing) slopped it back in the blender, slopped it back in the cup and slid it across the counter to me. Other customers were commenting by saying "wow...unreal... Is h serious... And of course, it was still just as bad- So I just chalked it up bc I do come here so much- everyone is entitled to a bad day right?... So I say to said employee, you know what- maybe it's just me but, I'll just take a refund.... After an eye roll and slamming of equipment, he says "I need your receipt"... As I'm standing there with a big SK cup.. So I tell him, "you crumpled it up after I paid for my smoothie".... Attitude kicks back in, and he counts 9 dollars and some change out and throws it on the counter. Myself as well as the other customers stood there with our jaws dropped. I just shook my head and told him I paid $10.62 (lrg choc lean1 add peanut butter- as always).... He huffs and puffs back to the register frustrated about counting out the difference and throws the remainder on the counter. (There is much more reaction from the line of custs but I will save the owner the embarrassment.) I took a pc of paper out of my purse, wrote my name and number on it and asked said employee to give it to Josh for a return call... He shrugged it off and said "whatever".... After a week of going to the Houze Rd location ands till no call from Josh, I happened to come in at a time where it was just Josh the owner there by himself so I brought the situation up to him and asked him if he got a msg to call me- he laughs and says no. I begin to tell him the story.. He gives a couple "wows" and "really's"... Says "Yeah, Ryan is pretty snarky and feels like he's the big man on campus now that he's in college.... And your total is....." I just shake my head.... He literally showed no interest in how his employee acted as a representation of HIM, his business, how he acted in front of other customers or how he treated me- a customer that spends $300 per month between both of his locations. NO INTEREST AT ALL. I'm an adult, the said employee is an adult and this is a business, there's nothing personal so I continue to go to both locations...I see Josh the owner and he doesn't even make eye contact... This past Saturday I go in and Ryan is the one to ring me up- thinking all of this is behind us - Nope, Mr. Snarky takes my payment and throws my change on the counter- yes, again in front of customers. I say out loud "wow I see nothing has changed." In the meantime, I've went to the location in Dunwoody and had awesome service however it's a shame that even though the locations are independently owned- they are still all of the same entity- Smoothie King and I hate that I am giving my business to any type of representation that doesn't respect or appreciate their customers. To sum it up- these 2 locations: Winward Pkwy and Houze Rd. who are coincidentally ran by the same person are not recommendable. I will never bring any business to either of them and I will me sure to spread the word about how horribly this situation (as well as others) were handled. If you are looking for good service - go to another location. read more

My boyfriend and I frequent this smoothie king after our workouts, we usually always get the same things (gladiators with strawberries and bananas). On this particular day we went in ordered our smoothies. This guy (don't know his name, but he was was a young dark skinned heavy set male) made the smoothies and the other attendant (tall, Caucasian male with black rimmed glasses) lazily poured them into our cups and proceeded to miss. Didn't really care considering he cleaned it up. Then we paid and left. As we dive away I noticed something in my teeth. It was stringy and grass like. My boyfriend has the same things in his drink. I pulled one out and we walked back into the store. I showed them the grass like thing and they proceeded to blame it on us. He opened the drink very smugly and said "since you left the store we don't know if you put it in there".... My boyfriend and I were both stunned. They offered to remake it only after some argument and extreme attitude. We were so upset and angry, we told then not to worry about it and just left and proceeded to go to robecks. No other smoothie king location had treated us this way...We only go here because it is the closest to our house. We refuse to go in there if they is working. Also, every other location we went to the workers had smoothie king uniforms while these two gentlemen looked like they walked in off the street and jumped behind the counter to work. Very inappropriate behavior. My boyfriend and I have both worked in the good and beverage industry and would expect better. read more

This is my go-to Smoothie King! Fast service, the store is always clean, and the smoothie mixologists are generally pretty knowledgable about everything on the menu. For extra savings be sure to check out their "specials" that they run, including seasonal smoothies and MEDIUM MONDAY! I just quit my job working here, the boss is cheap and does not care about the workers or the store. We were constantly missing ingredients or blenders/ blender lids. When something broke, (the fridge, toilet, freezer, blender for example) it stayed broken. Sure, the workers can be slow but we were not taught how to properly make a smoothie or act with customers. My coworker made themself a smoothie and found a cockroach in it. Small cockroaches run all over the store and like to huddle under the powder shelf, fruit flies swarm over the powders and dead bugs are found in there occasionally. Many times I would scoop a bug while making a smoothie for a customer and thank God I noticed and quickly threw it away. My boss was aware of the conditions and did nothing to help. He would smack the cockroaches with his hands, and not wash them. I did not see a single worker there ever wash their hands. He made us, young teenagers, close the store individually. I would be all alone, closing the store, terrified, and a person would come up to the window and bang on it because our boss insisted on leaving the open sign ON when we were closed. We would often have individual closing shifts, so for 5 hours I would not be able to go to the bathroom and I would have to make a bunch of smoothies while also taking orders and washing the blenders WHILE trying to close the store. If we are still clocked in 20 minutes after closing, our boss yelled at us, so we would clock out and continue working for another hour or so without pay. This is the most stressful thing and our boss never appreciated us for it. He is very rude and only cares about money; he often made us work in horrible weather conditions. If he needed to come stop by late at night, he would make us stay after hours and did not pay us extra or anything. Overall this place is disgusting and does not deserve your time. update: Totally forgot to mention that our boss, Josh, was never there, never helped, never trained any of us. Also, I once noticed that we had been serving EXPIRED YOGURT in smoothies and I quickly threw it away but it had already been served to many customers. Also, the weight gain powder and the lean powder would get switched so we would be serving 2 cups of weight gain to young women that just came back from a workout until I noticed. The coconut water was also expired a couple times. This place could easily be shut down if a health inspector ever bothered to come. read more

I went to this location on Free Smoothie Day on June 8 (this was majorly advertised through social media and email blasts). After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I get to the register to order, and the employee tells me that they are not participating. I even showed him the promotion email that had their address signed on the bottom AND said that this was for Greater Atlanta Locations. The customer behind me said that this was dishonest advertisement and that she would no longer give this francise her business. He then yelled at her (in front of the entire place packed with customers) and said "I DON'T CARE!!" I have been a loyal customer to Smoothie King and go to them weekly for $5 Medium Mondays. For some reason they had 5 people working behind the counter today, and yet they only made 1 smoothie at a time........didn't understand that. They were either over staffed or under productive. Either one is a waste of the owner's money. I counted 4 blenders, 5 employees, 6 people in line. they should be more than prepared for the Monday Special rush.
