We just gone done moving from Laramie to Cheyenne with smooth movers. They were the most courteous, professional, and did a great and fantastic job. Can not say enough stuff about the work they did. Thank you so much. read more

The movers themselves did an overall decent job, other than getting in too much of a hurry to leave once the household goods were delivered, due to some beds not being arranged and properly put together. As for the owner, MOVERS BEWARE! This guy is a liar and a thief. Move was quoted at nearly $14,000, where I was told that it was a weight-based move, BUT with the potential use of a third truck the costs were quoted at a SIGNIFICANTLY higher amount, due to the third truck. So, we were able to reduce our load down to 2 trucks, 1 and three-quarter trucks actually. With the reduction of the third truck, I was expecting a SIGNIFICANT reduction in the overall cost, but no, only an approximate $200 reduction in the overall cost. The owner already had it in his mind that he was going to get everything that he could, out of that nearly $14,000. Stay clear of this clown faced, bold ass liar, he's a crook! read more

these guys did a fantastic job on my move on May 12, 2025. They were very efficient and arrived on time. They were very professional and courteous, and took good care of my items. And their prices are very reasonable too! I would definitely recommend them for your next move. Carol Lehman read more

Our stuff was packed up carefully, transported 4 hours away, and taken into our new home quickly, and without incident. Sean and Josh were very hard workers, and unloaded the truck super quickly! read more

They promised that we would have our own truck and that our belongings were going to be the only things on that truck. We paid them $18,000. At the last minute a much larger truck arrived that had contents destined for 2 stops in Dallas. The movers kept moving stuff off the truck and back on the truck and back off the truck and back on the truck. In the end, some of our boxes were delivered to Dallas and not to our new home in Valrico, Fl. Gabriel doesn't give a fuck. He made money off the deal. I lost my jewelry box. I hate Smooth Movers and I hate Gabriel. He sucks. They suck, read more

We needed to moved out of our house, store most of things, and move them later in the late winter and early spring. The communication, flexibility, and care with the move were everything we wished for. They allowed us to focus on the move of pets and just get to our new home out-of-state and made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend Smooth Movers. read more

Smooth Movers saved the day again! They were able to move heavy filing cabinets & furniture for our office. As usual, Smooth Movers was quick, careful & professional. read more

this team was professional from start to finish. communication, professional and friendly attitudes, skills and training. thanks for making our difficult job look easy-- because we know it wasn't! read more

This company communicated with us every step of the way. They were much cheaper than their competition but their work was first class. Their dedication to giving us a "smooth move" was beyond what we expected. read more

Let me revise my previous review! I called Gabriel rather than wait any longer on an email response and he was more than willing to work with me on the broken ceramics and my concern over the additional fees for unloading and loading. I'm now hoping he never sees the previous review:) read more

Smooth movers made our move incredibly easy! They were great about communicating and planning the move before hand and 100% reliable during the move. They were courteous and careful in packing our items. I can't imagine having done our move with anyone else. I highly recommend them and will be using them again if we ever move in the future. read more

These guys are just the right blend of OCD and elbow grease. They dont waste truck space. They don't pack things loose. They don't "get lost" like some other movers do. They treat your items and time like their own. They give honest estimates and accurate times. Highly recommend for any moves in the center of the nation. read more

Trip charge from Laranie to Cheyenne of $400?? For a total of over $500? I only have five pieces to move from the kitchen to the garage. So, I declined and he hung up on me. read more

I was pleased with Smooth Movers from the moment I hit submit on their website for a free estimate. I received a personalized email within an hour of submitting my request. I called to set up a time, and they were able to come that night after I got off work to give me my estimate. Gabriel and Matt were right on time, polite and gave me an estimate that I was quite pleased with. I was not sure of my move date, so we discussed several dates that they had available and left it open that I would contact them back when it was finalized. When my move date came around, they were prompt and got started right away, despite having had mechanical difficulty with their personal truck, they had gotten to U-Haul first thing and rented a truck to use for my move. They had my apartment loaded up in two hours, and after a short break, they met me at my new apartment and started unloading. In approximately four hours, all of my belongings had been moved. During this time, I was impressed the entire time. I have never hired movers before, and did not know what to expect. We talked a bit while they were working, but they never slowed down. I will definitely use Smooth Movers the next time I move (which will hopefully not be for a very very long time), and I recommend them to anyone, whether or small or big move. read more

Easy, Honest and Simple!! Gabe made every unexpected situation easy and without Gabe and his crew, I am not sure what my family would have done during our move. We run into numerous roadblocks during our move, Gabe had a solution for every situation. Gabe's crew, showed-up on-time every day and took care of our belongings. Without a doubt, If I need moving services again, Smooth Movers and Gabe will be our very first call. read more

I have used at least a dozen professional moving services throughout my life and Smooth Movers was by far the best. The movers were professional and courteous. They moved quickly and efficiently, while also being careful not to damage my furniture or other belongings. I highly recommend this company for any relocation needs. read more

I recently used Smooth Movers for a move from Laramie to Fort Collins. I had the best experience. From my estimate to when they finished, everything was seamless and easy. They treated my things like they were their own. They were friendly and nice. They willingly rearranged things when the way I saw the layout wasn't how I ideally pictured it. I couldn't have been happier with the service. read more

My husband and I juSt moved cities, we had no idea how much stuff we actually had. The guys with smooth movers were fast, efficient, and very friendly. Those guys work so hard!! My husband and I would have never beeen able too move in just one day without these guys. They were worth every penny. read more

They did a great job for us, they worked very hard, (we had a lot of heavy furniture, sorry guys) were very polite, respectful of our belongings, careful and very anxious to make sure we were happy with their work, and we were. The truck was very tightly packed, it looked like a Tetris game. Nothing lost, nothing broken. thanks for being careful with my daughters handmade cradle, it is irreplaceable and they were very kind about that. their cost was very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a quick and careful moving company. read more

Smooth Movers did an absolutely outstanding job on a Wyoming to Massachusetts move for me - no small feat. Do not waste your time on the "big, national names" - this is your company. They were responsive, timely and 100% on budget. There are so few companies out there like this anywhere anymore - fantastic experience! read more

Fantastic service! They communicated well with me the entire time, from initial estimation to checking in after service. We did a video walk-through of my house to set the estimate (usually done in person, but busy time of year). The final cost was actually a little lower so I was happy. The movers were friendly, efficient, great. The time estimation was spot on. My items were well-cared for, with padding, wrapping, protection. Really impressed! read more

Hey, wow, Gabe the owner called us back about an hour after posting this review to learn more. He immediately knocked a few bucks off the charges and offered to come back and pack and move the missed items at no charge. What a guy! I'm updating my review as a result. Thank you, Gabe, for being so responsive. read more

Update: A half hour after posting our experience with Smooth Movers, Gabriel called to listen to our concerns and explain the lack of response from him. Extenuating circumstances had Gabriel out of the office for what sounds like a number of days. Ideally, the office personnel would have conveyed that to us with a simple return call or email vs. nothing. He was very apologetic for the lack of response to our calls and offered to listen to our situation and review the estimate and final invoice. In the end, we are pleased with the response that we received and have revised our rating to reflect that. We feel satisfied with how things have turned out and would recommend Smooth Movers to others in the area needing moving services. Thank you for your prompt followup, Gabriel! read more

I can not say enough good things about these guys. We moved to Cheyenne from Utah and drove our own Uhaul. We hired a moving company to unload in Cheyenne and after they were over 2 hours late they cancelled!!!!! I pulled up Yelp! and took a gamble on the first company I saw. MY GAMBLE PAID OFF!! I called at 5pm on a Wednesday evening. Told them my situation and that I needed unloaded THAT NIGHT! Luckily for me, there was a 4 man crew working on a job in my city! The owner never missed a beat and told me he'd send them over as soon as the finished!!!! The crew showed up around 8pm. I knew they had a long day and probably weren't thrilled about getting sent to an unexpected job, but you would have never known. They were incredibly respectful, upbeat and kind. Even when a giant storm hit half way through the unload. Again, they didn't miss a beat, they hopped in my Uhaul and backed it up as close as they could get to the garage and kept unloading. They were even cautious enough to cover ever sensitive item (mattresses and dressers) with a moving pad before moving it out so it didn't get wet. These guys were work horses. They unloaded an entire 20' truck in no time and with great attitudes! I highly recommend Smooth Movers!!! read more

These guys were great. I moved a few weeks ago, and I was really impressed. They called to confirm the day before and were there a few minutes early, ready to go. I moved from a third-story apartment, which was a big part of why I wanted to hire someone. They came in, did a quick once-over, and went to work. Everything made it downstairs and into our Uhaul in good condition, and they got the move done in the time we needed. I would use them again if I were still living in Laramie. read more

Absolutely THE BEST moving company in the region! I grew up in Wyoming but was temporarily in Arizona and needed to relocate an entire home from Phoenix back to Cheyenne. I simply did not have enough time to make several trips with a truck and trailer so I contacted Smooth Movers and let them know that I had a flexible schedule, and hoped to see what they had short notice. Not only did they work to give me several available days that I could consider, but they even gave me a couple pricing options. Within the next day of my initial call, I was contacted by the owner and was informed that they in fact had several trucks making a delivery from Wyoming to Arizona in the near future. They offered to give me an unbelievable rate if I could coordinate my move to utilize their trucks on their way back to Wyoming! The excellent service didn't end there. They arrived as promised on time, and had everything I needed to complete the move. They had two site foreman and a small crew, and literally packed my entire house and were on the road by 1:00pm. Every single thing was either bubble wrapped or covered in moving blankets and secured with bands. Did they need two trucks? NOPE. I have fragile personal items, brand new furniture, and even a giant gun safe. Every single inch of one truck (saving me the expense of two) was utilized and not a thing could rattle, shake, tip, or topple. I have moved more times than I can count and this was the only time I can ever remember sending my house off in a truck and not worry about how I would find it on the other end. I later found out that this company does contract moves for the University of Wyoming, large apartment complexes, FE Warren AFB, and on several occasions, pro bono moves for people in abusive relationships. All this and yet they took the time to personally and professionally take care of just an individual phone call trying to get back to Wyoming. I can attest, without any reservations whatsoever, that if you want peace of mind at an affordable rate...there is nothing to consider... Call Smooth Movers. read more

I received fantastic service from Smooth Movers. I needed to organize a last minute move for an employee from Rawlins to Laramie. It needed to be done the next day and Smooth Movers, organized it, sent me the quote and booked it all within a few hours. The Movers were at the property in Rawlins the next day on time, everything ran smoothly. They even recommended a great storage company. I would highly recommend moving with this company - they went above and beyond to help us out and for that I am truly grateful. read more

Highly recommend!!! Hiring Smooth Movers was the best decision I could have made involving my recent move. Booking was simple. The guys arrived on time and ready to work. We told them that we were on a strict budget and they respected that and worked out a game plan with us to get the most bang for our buck. We worked quickly and were able to load all of our stuff in the truck and deliver it to the new location all in one trip. Everything was moved with care and arrived in the same condition as before. I would definitely hire Smooth Movers again!! read more

I worked with Gabe and his Smooth Movers team to relocate me from one three bedroom home to another in the south Denver area. He gave me a quote and stuck by it. He and his whole crew were so polite and worked hard during the move. And, they were extremely careful. They spent extra time wrapping up furniture to prevent damage. I was extremely happy and highly recommend them! read more

WOW ! This moving company is AWESOME ! Gabe called me right away after he received my request for a quote and yes, they could fit me in on short notice. They arrived right on time and got to work immediately ! Mark and Tim are two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet ! They took such care with my furniture, even the awkward, super heavy stuff and they placed my furniture right where I needed it to go, no grumbling or groaning from these experts ! I watched them move my daughter and family last year and knew that I wouldn't choose anyone but them to help me !!!! Give them a call and you won't be disappointed ! And the price was right too !!! Thanks guys - you made a very stressful move such a "smooth" transition ! read more

Nothing but pleased with this outfit. I submitted an online form for a quote as I was getting quotes from various moving services around the area. Gabriel promptly replied and we negotiated a rate for a studio apartment and a storage unit. Due to my situation, we had to have the truck loaded, stored the items overnight, and delivered to the new house. They price matched my best quote and I was quite pleased to give the business to a local business rather than one from NoColorado. For loading Gabriel and Matt were right on time and ready to work. I have moved four times in the past two years and have had good experiences with those other companies and Smooth Movers blew them away. We have a motorized recliner (~250-300 lbs.) that these three other companies tried to take a part but could never figure it out. Matt and Gabriel looked right at it and got it broken down to make it more manageable and to avoid scratching the leather. I was very impressed. Both were very friendly and quite efficient. I swear they must have grown up glued to Tetris, as they were able to get it all in a single truck. They next day they were right on time with another person (another Matt) and they got right to work. It was all complete in no time at all. In fact they stayed to help to reassemble items that I had taken apart for the move - now that is customer service. No a single item was damaged as they blanketed and plastic wrapped all fragile items. I would most pleased and will certainly look to Smooth Movers again when the time comes. I do not hesitate to encourage all to book them for your next move, as you will not be disappointed! Nothing but pleased with this outfit. These guys are amazing. Gabriel and his crew are true professionals. Had a local move here in Laramie, packing included. The crew busted their behinds for 12 hours straight to complete the move in 1 day, including stairs at both ends. Everything arrived safe and sound, and was packed immaculately. All of this, and they were $1,000 cheaper and 1 day faster than the other large local company. If you need movers, and these guys are available, don't hesitate! read more
