We were in BCS to help a family member who ack for a cross country move. It was hot, so we decided to hop over to Smoosh for some dessert. There was one staff member in the store when we arrived, and it was pretty busy. Everyone was patient, and he moved things along as best as he could. You can scan a code to look at their menu or just ask for what you want. You can get just cookies, just ice cream, or ice cream between cookies. I got caramel ice cream between two oatmeal raisin cookies. Fortunately, they place it in a plastic to-go box, because the cookies crumble easily and cannot be picked up. Forks were not set out where they're easy to find, and since there were not any napkins available, we got some hand towels from the restroom (we didn't want to slow the line for those behind us). The cookies were soft and sweet. They did crumble apart when I tried to pick up the sandwich, so I switched to a fork. The ice cream was fairly soft too, but tasty. He is very nice and patient as we pick what we want as there is so many options. Personal favorite is Cookie Monster *Add toppings if you choose *sprinkles, marshmallows, chocolate chips, crushed cookies, crushed Graham crackers, fruit peoples, cinnamon toasts crunch, and more! If you aren't feeling like a sandwich, you can do a milkshake or a ice cream Cup. Still same scenario as a sandwich where you get to pick all from above. No sample during the COVID time, which is safe (but also means you need to bet on the flavors). I had turtle flavor and cappuccino flavor. With the price they set for their ice cream, I was not disappointed or impressed. The churros, waffle cones, toppings, and ice cream, they are all just alright. Aside from the fact that the kid working there was playing on his phone in the back room, in full view, when we got there and having to address him with a hello before he would come up front to help us, this place was a nice quick stop for something sweet. Super yummy!!! I had their peppermint bark ice cream. I really enjoyed this because there is no chunks of candy but there are these little white melt in your mouth soft peppermint things I have no idea what they are but they were delicious. Everybody else got custom ice cream cookie sandwiches. We all devoured them the only thing I would say is be careful going during summer. I had the salted caramel truffle ice cream in between a double chocolate cookie and a brownie with caramel sauce. The brownie was so moist and the cookie had a deep rich flavor. This is a fun concept-make your own ice cream cookie sandwich. I honestly thought it was a hamburger place at first. The portion size is huge, so be ready to share if you can. Of course, my son made some crazy kid concoction that I didn't want to share, since they had some good ice cream flavors and toppings, so be prepared for that too. Haha! I was disappointed in the freshness of the cookies for my sandwich. They were not fresh at all. I was also disappointed that the bathroom was out of order.
