The kind where your powerful dog finds something disgusting to roll in during the night, and you do your best to wrestle the dog into the tub even though she hates watee. And you soap her up multiple times and rinse it out and dry her off the best you can and she still stinks and wants to sleep in your bed. And you pet her stinky fur for 90 minutes before she will lay down and go to sleep. All 3 times this has happened to us, South Paw has been ready to help us right away when they open. Once the woman we spoke to was stressed by how many appointments they had and she still got us in. They are always friendly and the dogs smell good and are in great shape afterwards. Nails are well trimmed. They are speedy too. And their prices, for washing at least, seem very competetive. Highly recommended.

I haven't been happy with where I had been taking my dog, so my dad recommended The Pet Pamperer as he had such a good experience with his sheltie. I should add that my dog is a total freak. The sound of running water makes her flip out. So do hair dryers. and tin foil. I used to think it was an auditory thing, until her first fourth of July ( and every one since) where she ran outside to watch the fireworks. Only dog i've ever seen sit down and watch fireworks like she's on shrooms at a Pink Floyd concert. Other groomers have had an issue with her before because she's such a spaz, but my dog came back from the Pet Pamperer looking absolutely wonderful. The dingleberry containment zone has been trimmed back, she looks amazing, and she smells like candy. My *dog* smells like *candy*. TPP is cheaper than all of the other groomers I have taken my dog to, and she does a much better job.

I was able to message them on Facebook and get my two large breed dogs in within a couple of days.. which is awesome since we usually had to book our big guy at least a couple weeks out bc with his energy not a lot of people can manage him (super sweet, but equally hyper in new anxiety provoking situations) Needless to say, she provided recommendations for my dog with severe allergies and showed that she actually cares about the animal! Which is huge for me, especially when we are letting someone else care for our pups in situations that can be nerve racking for them. They both look great, and we will be going back! My only feedback is that my dogs didn't get a cute bandana that they usually do lol I'll have to buy some to bring next time! But definitely would recommend them!!! Our usual assigned groomer told us after the last grooming in July that we couldn't schedule our next one direct with her because she was going out on leave. No problem, I'll text to schedule like i have in the past. Text, no response Week later text again, no response Called, they don't take voicemails - they said to text. I again text. Nothing. 3/4 weeks later email again asking if they can't service us to please have the courtesy to respond and let us know that. Understandable they could be short staffed. Radio silence. Ghosted. Never once heard back from them. Not once. Absolutely terrible. The only reason it's 2 star instead of 1 is because Tori, our groomer, was a fantastic groomer with fantastic communication. Your loyalty and business is not valued here.

You are greeted then led back to a very clean room with tubs all set. They have an incredible selection of shampoos, conditioners, and so much more. There are also plenty of towels. I even so kindly get a helping hand to lift Ozzy in and out of the tub. I've had his nails trimmed which they do very well and are so kind and gentle. The entire store has so many things for purchase including baked goodies for the four legged beauties. I just can't say enough about this place.
