Dr. Kareem is incredibly kind and gentle--honestly, she's the first dentist I've had who didn't hurt while numbing the area! The office is very efficient too; I was taken in just 5 minutes after arriving right on time. The assistant at the office was so friendly and helped calm my nerves since I tend to get anxious at the dentist. I had a temporary crown placed the same day, and I'll be returning in 3 weeks for my permanent one. I'm really excited to make this office my family's new go-to dental care provider!

Due to my insurance change, I had to go with a new Dentist and so here I am at Great Expressions Dental in Wayne, from choosing them because they were in my Network and close to home, which is even a better reason to go there. I like the fact that they have early appointments starting at 7:00 AM on Fridays. That works great for me because I can go in before I go to work. From the time I made the online appointment, I received a follow-up call from Kyle, who by the way is the sweetest and most kind person you can talk to on the phone and even once you meet him in person. He did my follow up call and informed me about the quick and easy access portal online so I could have all my paperwork in order before I even arrive at my appointment. Once I arrived, I was greeted by Kyle and you can hear his smile through the mask. The whole staff receives an A+ for A1 Excellent service. Everyone had an upbeat attitude and so ready to help and assist. You can tell they like what they do. They treated me just as if I have been going there for years. Doctor Fady Shounia is really sweet and kind and you can tell he cares and really seem concerned about your teeth. My Hygienist, Myra was just as sweet and kept me entertained while she was doing my cleaning, she explained the whole process before she started and then went to cleaning. I like it when people treat you with the utmost respect and treat you as a family member. I felt very welcomed and even when it came time to check out to make my next appointment, the lady at the desk, which I forgot to get her name, she was just as sweet and kind and explained all my paperwork to me. I even liked the fact that once I checked in I only had to wait no more than three to five minutes. Get in and get out, that's the best part. My appointment was at 7:20 and I was leaving the office at 8:25. So, if you're looking for a new dentist, they're accepting new patients. Check their website to see if they're in your network or if not, they will work with you on a plan especially for those who do not have any insurance. Great place with great people.

I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I highly recommend this place for everything dental-related. I would make it my regular dentist's office if I didn't live so far!

They made you feel as if you were family. It felt like seeing an old friend that you haven't seen in a while. My hygienist, Patrice was very thorough and explained what she was going to do and how. She really took care of my teeth and gums! You can tell she loves what she does and she made me feel comfortable and assured me she would not cause me any pain. After she was finished, i met with Dr. Soliman and he went over thing and gave his recommendations, you can tell he is very thorough as well and he does want you to be very well informed. The lack of communication, professionalism and respect for my time wasn't worth another wasted minute with Parkside and Dr. Sam - the old owners son. Horrible quality dentistry and lies after lies after lies! I would not recommend them for anything due to everything failing or becoming infected that they touched. They flat out lied to me repeatedly and were "practicing dentistry" on me. I heard several other patients in my many many many visits complaining of Botched work as well. Bone graphs, infections, constant antibiotics, rushed work all at your expense and your wasted time. I wouldn't let them fill a cavity. If you have 6 months to go without any teeth in your mouth and enjoy wasting time at a dentist at least once a week, then call Parkside and get the ride of your life of lies. But if you want teeth to eat and smile with, don't call this place because after shelling out thousands and thousands of dollars and your time you'll still be back where you started. Worst dentist I've been to in 50 years. They have no business doing dental implants and unless you want to be their next practice victim like me, call someone else or look like Frankenstein with swelling, infections, failed posts and posts pointing in different directions that can't be fitted to anything. Pathetic dentistry. They should be ashamed and embarrassed to say they do implants! THEY DON'T!
