I went in one night to replace my Vaporesso XROS Mini. They sold it for $50, but after talking with the seller, they sold me on the benefits of the Vaporesso XROS 2 and charged me $80 for it. While the clerk was very helpful, I found out that you can buy it for $35 online. I understand that rent prices aren't cheap, but this was straight price gouging. I'd recommend you do your homework to understand pricing before you go or even while you're there to keep them honest. read more

I live on California street, and walk down Polk to get to Smokin Aces- this means I pass by 4 smoke shops (no joke) on the way. I used to go to one of them consistently, until one fateful day I ventured down to Smokin Aces since my usual spot didn't have what I was looking for. I've never gone back to any of the other smoke shops since. The owner (I assume owner? He's at shop all the time) is super knowledgeable and nice - he even gives my dog treats!! I've been there a couple of times without the owner there- my experience has been less favorable in those instances. However the vast majority of the time he's there and will absolutely take care of you. Really good selection, reasonable prices, great customer service.... what else could you ask for?! read more

Gentleman helped me out in pricing and figuring out what the best bang for my buck would be in regards to a dab rig, banger, torch & pick coming out to be 120 after tax. I seriously appreciated the help the man had to offer and the patience & knowledge he had about the inquiry. This place is great and it's pretty big inside. They know a lot about there product and they have lots of vaporizer pens and lots of vape pen accessories. I came here once in a blue moon to buy screens and lighters but never really paid any attention what they had inside or how big it is. Just started coming by and It's very nice and they sell every single peace you need for your vaporizer pen. They have the coils I wanted for my waxes and for the best price. I feel that these guys are just slightly less likely to try and rip you off than the other stores on Polk street. If you have to buy local, buy from them, but you're far better off buying online where a simple glass bong costs $25 instead of the $85 that Smoking Aces will charge you. read more

I have purchased quite a few letters and other products that they sell at the store recently I purchased a Firebird lighter and its only been about a week and the adjustment on the bottom that turns the flame higher and lower and also holds fuel is leaking fluid. I only had the lighter for about a week and it's obviously defective because it won't hold a full Chamber of butane more than 5 minutes. I try to take it back and instead of acknowledging the obvious issue that it's not retaining fluid heat they tried to say that it had looked like it had been dropped because it had a little bit of dust on it. I only was trying to either exchange or return this one item for 20 bucks or a different lighter. With how much business that I have given them and I know they recognize me and know that if I come there and give them business the fact that they're giving me a hard time over a $20 lighter when I have shop there and done business with them so much shows me that they do not have a professional how to tune to do good business with their customers. And when I go back to talk to the owner if they do not exchange or return this I will no longer give them any business. I do not appreciate the arrogance that they are showing me and their customer service. This is not the kind of business I would do with people that I was doing on this business with. I expect the same standard of customer service or better and to not appreciate any one that's going to give me a faulty product and not make it right. read more
