From start to finish, the team was so kind, accommodating, and professional. We ordered a beautiful heart-shaped cake, a sheet cake, and a 6-inch keepsake cake to save -- and every single one was fresh, moist, and delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about it -- several even went back for seconds (and there wasn't a single slice left by the end of the night!). The flavor, presentation, and quality were everything we hoped for and more. If you're looking for a bakery that delivers not only amazing cakes but also genuine warmth and care, Jenny's Cakes is the one. They helped make our wedding day that much sweeter!

If you're craving legit, flavor‑packed empanadas, Continental Gourmet Market is the spot. This…read moreplace specializes in empanadas that taste like they were made with a lot of thought and kindness. The crust is golden, flaky, and never greasy, and the fillings hit with real seasoning, none of that bland, filler‑heavy stuff you get at other places. Service here is consistently solid. The staff is friendly, quick, and knows their regulars. The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to navigate, which matters because once you walk in, you're going to want to browse. And trust me, browsing is worth it. They've got a surprisingly deep selection of Central American food items, from pantry staples to snacks you don't usually find in big grocery chains. Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality. You can grab a couple empanadas, pick up some specialty items, and walk out feeling like you scored. Great empanadas, great service, clean shop, and a fun variety of Central American goodies. A South Bay gem that deserves way more hype. Miguel C.

Aside from the pan de sal, they also have the best lumpiang gulay (vegetable eggrolls) in town -- perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Definitely one of my absolute favorite bakeries in Carson. They have simple rules items. My only one-off is that this place is really pricey! Most of all their items are expensive, and usually I end up either leaving or having to only get what I want. I know it's a small mom and pop bakery to probably cover their overhead, but their prices are pretty up there! They should sell them in smaller batches or more affordable options for buyers. Sadly, we even witnessed a guy stealing here one time. He was putting bread under his shirt and left. We told the shop owner but that guy got away when the owner tried to stop him.
