Shitty ass place to go for anything. The employees are nasty and could care less about any needs or questions you may have. They pander to the much older generation, anyone under 35 is treated like trash. They barely have anything in terms of alternative options for people who are trying to quit cigarettes. Every shop of there's I've ever been to reeks like cigarette smoke and is a very unhealthy environment. I'd give no stars if I could. It's no wonder they're going out of business. read more

Been going there EVERY week for last 2 years or so. Showed up yesterday,there was a new girl there. When I entered the store she gave me a nasty look.I stood where I always stand near the vapes. Ignoring me, then 2 guys walk in she instantly waits on them. I stood there silent waiting.After she was done with them,she ignores me again. I said "lady I been standing here for awhile can I make a purchase? She said NO you are being rude calling me lady and have an attitude, I'm not selling you anythinganything, get out of the store. I said wow.I come here all the time what's your problem with me. She called the cops. I waited for the cops. The cops arrived and she lied saying I threatened her and she felt scared. Turns out she didn't like the TRUMP hat I had on. I don't know her and I couldn't figure out why she would treat me that way. It was the hat.Hopefully John the owner reviews the film. Rude lady working at the counter. Went in for a cigar and the lady working the counter on Sunday afternoon 11/30 gave me an attitude because I didn't see the small sign that I guess you need permission to go to the humidor. Maybe put the sign in the actual walk way or use a barricade. Not a small sign off to the side. And, certainly don't give customers spending money an attitude over a mistake when there's literally other smoke shops on the same street. Havana cigar co at 2 Raymond Ave doesn't treat customers this way. Never coming back to this place. read more

I arrived at location before closing time and was refused service by attendant. Apparently she wanted to leave work early and not serve customers during the hours promoted. The store operator was very rude and unhelpful. read more

I purchased cigars for someone without knowing the importance of keeping them fresh. I called numerous smoke shops and I finally spoke to someone who went out of their way to assist me and educate me on the care of cigars. Lori C, from the Wappingers store location, is one of the most respectful, knowledgeable, helpful and reliable employees any employer or business could ask for. She taught me so much and assisted me by personally transporting the humidor and accessories I needed from one location to the next. In the Poughkeepie location (Raymond Ave) I also met another employee Betty M. who answered all my questions, was very patient and knowledgeable as well. These ladies made my first cigar shopping experience memorable. For any reason you need cigars and or accessories, please reach out to either one of them.
