Place kinda sucks. Offers drive through but it takes forever you can literally go get through Burger King drive thru faster. It's always 2 workers inside chatting. Small tobacco shop directly across from the huge 24 hour Walmart. The tobacco selection is fairly large and they offer some vape supplies as well. The cigar variety is very lacking, but I was happy to find some fresh Nat Shermans. Prices were good and the guy working was friendly even though overwhelmed by the in store and drive thru customers (yes, there is a drive thru window). Smoke shops seem to be few and far between in the Catskills area so this was a nice find and not far off the beaten path. Parking in front and on side of the store. read more

Last year there was a problem with credit card numbers being stolen from Smoker's Choice (not sure if it was this one specifically but I believe so) Now to be fair, that was ultimately the employee that did wrong, not the entire company, and I'm sure whoever has been fired and prosecuted. Its just a risk you take wherever you use a credit card so I'm not specifically upset with the establishment as a whole. However, they now have signs up stating they now take all debit cards or something to that effect. I Went to pick up a pack of cigarettes a few weeks back and used my debit card. My bank put a fraud alert on my card specifically because I used it there! Yes, I understand its my bank that shut down my card but obviously they should not be advertising that they accept those cards when in fact the bank refuses to. I don't blame my bank because it was past criminal activity on SC's part that led to the decision. But the "now accepting all debit cards" is misleading!! I still go there as the prices are pretty good and the drive-thru is very convenient but beware of using a debit card. But seriously.... Just post a sign asking customers to check with their bank first. read more
