Arrogant, Rude, and they try and cheat you. Plus the 30 Day warrentee does not cover exact replacement. They give you what they have in stock and no money back. Recommended by a friend I went there and spent $220 on my first visit on their recommendations and buying extra tanks. Two weeks in the Vape stoooed functioning and they told me my only choice is to pick one of the 3 they had left in the store as an exchange. Not only did d it take 2 visits but I got stuck with a color vape that I didn't want not to mention my 3 tanks were purple. They said I have to pick one of the 3 because the units discontinued which I wasn't told that before. I asked if I can upgrade to the color I originally had to match my tanks paying the difference and I was told no. I also found out I was supposed to get a larger cover for the vape in my kit that I never got. His reason was that I didn't need it (but I paid for it). The customer service is completely awful! They have a huge variety of overpriced juices, but unfortunately, you feel as if you are bothering the employees to smell some of them. There is no other way for you to sample the juices other than smelling them. I wouldn't complain as much, if they wouldn't of made me feel like I am inconveniencing them by asking to smell more than 3. Especially if you are a newbie vaper, DO NOT GO HERE! You will never want to try vaping again. The mods are ridiculously priced as well. You walk into this place and it is filthy. I got uncomfortable as soon as I walked in. Two guys just chilling on the couch blowing vape rings. Another two guys standing behind the counter staring at me. They were totally unprofessional! It was as if, I was interrupting someones lunch just because I wanted to see a couple of mods and know the prices. I asked one guy if he sold starter pens. He said yes, they are on the wall far left. Instead of his lazy ass walking me over there, he stared at me while I searched for them. Saying "no, not there. No, your far left, No not there, look up." He made me feel so stupid that I walked out with my boyfriend in tears. My boyfriend has been vaping for years. He usually asks for extra nicotine to put in his vape juice to make it more stronger. The "Mr Know-it All" guy with the beard and hat, always looks at him like he is stupid whenever he asks for extra nicotine. We are paying customers and if we want to BUY extra nicotine with our own cash, why is it such a damn problem to get it? The guy that works there is so arrogant and full of himself. He makes me want to go buy a carton of cigarettes than ever have to deal with his ass again. My boyfriend got so fed up with the guy, especially after he almost had me in tears, that my boyfriend whispered under his breath, "pretentious co**sucker". And honestly, I am glad he did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I purchased a mod from them which had no packaging. I was never given a receipt and was never told that if there was anything wrong with the mod I was out of luck. Within 24 hours the mod stopped working. I came in so that I could return the non functioning mod and purchase a brand new one which would cost more money. I was told that I couldn't return or exchange the broken item because that is what their policy was. I didn't want a refund, I wanted to give the mod back which cost $40 and purchase a new one which cost $65 yet I was still told by the manager that I couldn't do that. Beware of anything you buy from this place. They sell broken things and are not willing to exchange for something else. Now I am stuck with a broken mod that I cant even use. Ok I have been to this place numerous times and just today for some reason I looked up their reviews and honestly it's sad what some of these people are saying. I can tell these are entitled ignorant a-holes but enough with that. On to MY Review!!!! If truth be told, yes maybe they can come off a little "friendlier" but in no way are they rude or ignorant or arrogant. From day 1 they have always been friendly to me and they even started stocking a juice I couldn't get anywhere else but online. Is the online price a little cheaper? Yeah it is, but then I also have to wait a day or 2 to get it or I can come here and they have it. I'd rather pay a dollar or 2 more to support a local business than someone online probably working out of their garage with no overhead. If you looked online for an item before you come here and expect the price to be the same than YOU are the problem. This place has been nothing short of great as far as I'm concerned but if you walk in the door and expect to be greeted with a standing ovation maybe you should just stay home. The guy who works there I believe he is the manager always quotes prices higher than every other store, then once you buy something he never gives you your 5 star points and when you ask for them he says he doesn't give out points from your purchase the stores were opened to make money not give stuff away. My boyfriend and I visited this location a while ago. We came in and it was like a little party house. There were a bunch of guys (they looked like teenagers to me) vaping with no shoes on and playing pool with very loud music blaring. They were shouting across the room at each other, throwing balls, and watching TV. Which made me wonder whether this was a business or frat house? My boyfriend is in the process of quitting smoking, which is why we were curious and wanted to try out vaping. We had zero knowledge about the product and came to be informed and really wanted to make a purchase. However, there was virtually no customer service, no explanation about anything, nothing. The only guy who was not playing around with the group in the store tried to sell us products without explaining anything like he was in a rush or annoyed or something. We would ask why or what things were and he would say "this vape is better than that vape, this has higher wattage", etc. But for someone who doesn't even know what kind of role wattage plays or what a "better vape" constitutes it really didn't explain anything. They also wouldn't let us try anything. How are we supposed to know what we're buying then? We left and went to Elixrz instead where we got the customer service we were looking for. I've been going here for a few years now and the quality of the customer service has drastically gone down since I started shopping here. I have purchased box mods, coils, cotton, tanks, and regular juice here throughout the years and had no issues with anything. Over the past 8 months, I have purchased 4 devices (the Suorin Drop, the Smok Rolo Badge, and 2 different JWell LaCartes). In total, this has cost me around $160, not including the salt juice that I have bought as well. Every one of these devices has broken on me. The Drop's battery died, the Badge just stopped working one day, the first LaCarte's connector-thing to the pod stopped working, and the last LaCarte also just randomly stopped hitting today. I went in to ask them about it and the super useful neckbeard behind the counter let me know that since I did not have a receipt (I never got one), and since it had probably been over a month since I had purchased it, it was already out of warranty and there was nothing I could do about it. Not to mention that Shaab, the employee I usually like to talk to when I'm in there, let me buy the Drop and Badge, only to later tell me that all the devices OTHER than the LaCarte would always break within 3 months of purchase. This would be bad enough already if that wasn't another lie too. Overall, I'd say just avoid this place. Used to be pretty good, it's just completely miserable now. Been vaping for over year, visited many shops. Headed into this one because it carries Five Pawns, was hoping to test BFF, purchase it and a couple of other mass produced liquids. We were greeted curtly and as I approached the counter to look at the testers, the majority of the labels were falling off and the tanks were dirty. Not only that, there was no liquid in any of the half a dozen or so that I was brave enough to pick up. When I looked up at the shelves behind the counter, I noticed BFF and asked if there was a tester for it. One of the guys behind the counter said no, quickly pulled BFF down and told me I could sniff the bottle, as he exhaled impatiently. The other guy behind the counter just sat there doing his best to stare off into space and avoid anyone that came in the door. Awesome. From what I understand, this is a chain and if this is what a vaping chain is going to be, I'll stick to the professionals at Elixerz in Glendale Heights and Elgin; they may not carry designer liquids, but their homemade products are amazing. Every once in a while I like to try the mass produced stuff and I was excited to find a retail shop nearby that carried Five Pawns. However this experience convinced me that if I want Five Pawns or Suicide Bunny, I'm better off ordering it than wasting my fuel and patience visiting any of the Smokeovapor locations. The two guys behind the counter, aside from being exceedingly inhospitable, clueless and rude, were hygienically inferior to feral pigs. read more

Compared to the Plainfield location, this location is so incredibly dishonest and, frankly, very upsetting. First of all, the guy tried to upsell me on everything and offer me the most expensive juice, THEN doesn't even offer me the five star rewards. My second trip there, I tell the guy I need an ice flavor since I'm used to menthol, he gives me the firecracker popsicle juice, while tasty, was NOT menthol...after I asked him about three times, he still insisted it was. I was burning through coils like crazy, so I go to the Plainfield location only to find out the guy at the Naperville location did NOT give me menthol juice (or offer me rewards, again), but essentially set my mod up (I was a first-time vape-er) to burn through coils as fast as they could. My mod can be a temperature controlled mod, but the coils he gave me (which were different than the one he put in my tank), were not to be used with the temp setting. I did my research before heading into the Plainfield location and they basically told me that I would have received enough points from my initial purchase (when I bought my set up) to have points to get me at least 3 free 30ml juices. All together, the people that work here lie to you. If you have to go to smokeovape in Naperville, it's worth the extra 15 minute drive down to the Plainfield location where they're actually there to help you, not rob you. read more
