We stumbled into Pi on Sunset after a concert nearby, looking for something to eat, and I'm SO…read morehappy they were open! My cousin and I didn't eat too much, we shared a gyro and fries, but that was enough for me to know the food here is GOOD. I immediately noticed the gyro had a little more of a Middle Eastern flavor profile than what I typically expect from a Greek restaurant, and after chatting with the owner and learning he's Lebanese, it all made sense. And I was absolutely not disappointed. The gyro was flavorful, delicious, and exactly what we needed after a night of music. The owner was also incredibly sweet and generous. He surprised us with knafeh on the house, and it was SO yummy! Warm, sweet, creamy, crunchy, just delicious. Such a thoughtful gesture and honestly the perfect ending to an already awesome night. Great food, wonderful hospitality, and the kind of unexpected experience that makes you want to come back and try more of the menu.

Sooooo good and garlicky The shrimp tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked, (we don't play with rubbery overcooked shrimp in this house!) I also have a pretty robust hookah menu, so this is definitely a place that you can spend an hour or two just chilling

They also didn't provide an itemized check before payment because everything was handled through the payment machine. What made it worse was that after the 22% gratuity had already been added, the machine prompted us to leave an additional tip. After closing out my check, the server quickly walked away before I had a chance to ask for an itemized receipt or question the charges. I strongly recommend reviewing your bill carefully before paying and making sure you know exactly what has already been added.

I contacted the owner through Instagram, and he was so nice and helpful from the beginning. He arranged everything perfectly for us. We brought our own cake and balloons, and everything turned out amazing. The service was excellent, the food and appetizers were delicious, the drinks were great, and the prices were very reasonable. The view is absolutely beautiful! We also loved the music, DJ, and dancer. The whole atmosphere was so much fun and made my birthday celebration very special. Thank you to the owner and the entire team for taking such great care of us. We had an amazing night! I highly recommend Yamashisha and will definitely be back!

I came from The District and it was a much busier vibe for me, and i wanted some place that was…read moremellow but had good music and hookah. A quick search on Yelp and this came up. There weren't many parties upon arrival - I came on a Friday so maybe it was a one off. I personally prefer places without too many people because I hate crowds, but for the sake of this business I'm writing a review because of the service. Service was prompt, friendly, and being checked on felt genuine. I'd definitely come back. The music was good, but this seems like a fun spot for sure on busier days. The space is large enough to hold a few larger parties.

We spent about $200 including a 15% tip, and the experience was terrible from beginning to end. Our…read morehookahs took roughly 30 minutes to come out after we had already paid. We were told they were having issues with the hoses and that it was their "opening night" and they were still ironing things out, which was confusing considering the business already has around 70 reviews. When the hookahs finally arrived, the equipment quality was awful. The hoses kept falling out, and staff eventually had to use multiple extra gaskets just to get mine working properly. They also overfilled the base with water, so water was getting pulled into the hose with every draw. We weren't even provided tongs, and my bowl burned up unusually fast. It does look like they tried to clean the hookah before giving it to us because the base was filled with soapy water. There were so many bubbles on the surface of the water and each draw of the hookah tasted like dish soap. The worst part was the timing. My hookah was finally made usable only about 20 minutes before closing, so after paying full price I barely had any time to actually enjoy it before the building closed. At that point, I felt like I had paid for an experience I never really received. The rest of the lounge wasn't much better. The TV/music setup had terrible audio quality, the remote batteries were dead, and nobody could skip the advertisements or control what was playing. On the way in, water from the AC above the entrance literally dripped onto my head. The bathroom was also atrocious and badly needed attention. I understand that a new business can have opening-night issues, and I normally give places some grace for that. But if you're charging customers full price, the basic equipment and service need to be ready. Functional hoses, properly filled hookahs, tongs, clean bathrooms, working entertainment equipment, and enough time to actually use what you paid for are pretty fundamental. I came in wanting to support the place and have a good night, but after spending $200, I left feeling seriously disappointed and ripped off. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and fixes these issues quickly.

I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. Even though I don't really know much about Invincible, I still had a lot of fun. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola. I would order that again. We also shared the Viltrumite Training Cookies ($9). They were basically buttery sugar cookies but came in a pack of 3. Parking was probably the only annoying part. The shopping center seemed to only have valet, so I ended up finding free street parking in the neighborhood and walking about 10 minutes. One thing I thought was really cool was that the employees told us they completely change the theme every few months. They have done collaborations with Godzilla, Final Fantasy VII, and Arcane. Overall, I had a really good time, even as someone who is not familiar with Invincible. If you are a fan of the show and like experiential dining experiences, I would say come check it out.

We also went upstairs where they had some picture props and a claw machine that was a scam lol $8 for 1 token for 2 tries and the many coins we got and played.. the claw would pick up and drop right before moving towards the drop.. shake my head. Overall it's definitely for the gamer life..
