Came here for the first time. I will say the staff, service, and atmosphere are excellent. The cheese curds were seasoned with a house blend of seasoning and were frickin' awesome. I imagine the burgers would be great, but i came here for the BBQ, which was 2-stars. I got the meat plate, and the brisket was tender but a little dry (also was cut from the flat). The pulled pork was also a little dry, but the seasoning was solid. The ribs...pretty sure they were boiled then baked, and were overall pretty disappointing if you like good smoked ribs. I think this place is a great bar and will do bar food really well...but it isn't a true BBQ place. If the smoked meats were even a 3.5 star, I would give this place an overall 5 stars, but it wasn't. Will be back. read more

The atmosphere is new and very clean, the decor is inviting and bright, the staff is friendly and very helpful and the smoked food options are amazing. It's our first trip since there rebranding and I'll be back. read more

Stopped in for a bite to eat by myself. Food was good and worth the wait. Not very busy and had slow service (very pleasant gal), wasn't impressed with Bloody Mary and disliked the headbanging music on a Sunday morning. My biggest disappointment was no WiFi available, which would have allowed me to catch up some tasks while waiting. read more

I had a Burger, they didn't have a California on te menu but they gladly make one for me. Outstanding service and tge burger was awesome and the bun wow like it was fresh made! Others in our party had tge patty melt and they both said it was one of tge best. read more

We have had dinner a few times now at the Smoke and Fire in New Prague. The restaurant has recently been updated inside and looks quite nice. I like the corrugated tin wall in the big dining room as it gives it a kind of rustic vibe. I am gluten free and I've been pleased with the selections available. All the sandwiches can be made gluten free if you ask. They have a very tasty gluten free bun available. I recently got the grilled cheese with smoked brisket and it was very tasty. I do wish they'd add gluten free pasta to the menu.... Hopefully in the future. I've also had the southwest salad with pulled pork and it really good. read more

We tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. The servers were very friendly, BUT...I ordered a salad and was so disappointed that the chicken was just plain shredded chicken. It was not that good at all. I assumed that with the name of the restaurant, it would be smoked or at least have some grilling spices. The food overall was just ok. I don't think we'll go back anytime soon. Pretty much no ambience, either. read more

In my opinion the afternoon bartender, a dark haired lady that had been employed there for many years is extremely moody. She certainly plays favorites with the customers. I was in there today and ordered a beer. Although the second was only a dollar, but she said I HAD to have it served immediately with the first beer. However, I counted six other customers that came in where she served the second beer AFTER they finished the first beer. This "Cat" either has to go or start treating everyone the same. read more

Our first time since this changed to a bbq joint. We had Mac & cheese with pulled pork. I didn't finish it and had no interest in taking home leftovers. Pasta with the goopy cheese sauce like you'd expect if you ordered nachos at a ball game. My husband had the meat platter. Now he's a meat eater and he was not impressed at all. food was warm and meat had no flavor. Probably won't be back. read more
