The selection here I think many would be very pleasantly surprised with with not just quantity but the overall quality and selection would allow even the most discerning aficionado the ability to select something wonderful. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner and you will find is extremely knowledgeable not only in selecting the right stick but the right adult beverage to pair it with. I highly recommend even if staying downtown to drive the extra few miles passing up some of the other lounges to go to this one because not only does he have the selection but there was a private room where you can really indulge in luxury while enjoying your favorite burn and beverage. I will definitely return and next time spend even a bit more time there as this time we were a little short on free time.

The gentleman behind the bar was very attentive and friendly. He Allowed me to step into the humidor with full confidence and pick anything I wanted. I ended up choosing a Liga Privada #9 . What a wonderful smoke, I also paired it with a Guinness which had the perfect pour. Thanks again and if I'm ever back in town I will make sure to visit again.

Prices are decent, too. Smoking bar seems to have a wider selection of stuff, but you can always grab a drink and enjoy it in the non-smoking section if you're really feeling something offered there. Ambiance is pretty hipster/dive-y, but it's pretty entertaining to play count-the-beanie when it's full. Everyone is pretty friendly, too. Sometimes there are cute dogs. Cigar part, though I don't smoke, is my favorite. I once was crossing the street nearby late at night with a friend when she mentioned she wanted a swisher, so I naturally raced to Jake's to buy her one (I may have had a bit to drink that night). I tried to buy just one, though I had no cash, and the cashier was kind enough to give it to me on the house. I came back frequently afterwards for legitimate purchases. Friendly people and a good place to get gifts for friends that smoke.

Additionally this little business supports the community by allowing "Phil's Fish and Chips" space in their lot, and a lovely young lady to sell baked goods to earn her college education. This tasting was sort of like an open house format. In 90 minutes you can taste the wines at your own pace and enjoy some nibbles along the way. The night I went they had bread, shredded chicken, fruit, and little potato mushroom bites. We were provided with a tasting glass and an info sheet when we arrived. The sheet included the basics of each wine and the price of a bottle in case you were interested in buying. I liked that there wasn't any pressure to buy. They were more about providing a great experience and helping you should you discover a new favorite wine. The space is a great contrast between industrial and warm/inviting. Very clean, modern, and smartly designed. The owner was one of the folks pouring for the tasting and he was very knowledgable about the featured wines. The location is perfect, nestled in 8th street. Very convenient to grab a bite to eat afterwards. I highly recommend doing a tasting here, you won't be disappointed!
