I was told by our, then, propane supplier that we needed to replace our underground tank. They…read morepassed me off to a third party who gave me an estimate of $4,200. I wanted a second opinion, so I called Blue Sky Propane. They sent their own service technician out to look at our tank. He showed me that the problem that my prior supplier pointed out was surface rust. He said it needed to be cleaned off and repainted. But, the integrity of the tank and fittings was good. Then, he added that Blue Sky would do a test of the tank's existing "anode bag to insure the proper cathodic protection". In other words, protection to counter any electrolysis due to the different metals used in the tank, plugs and metering equipment. Their personnel (Charlaine in the office, and Billy in the field) have been professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Blue Sky doesn't just provide the propane gas . . . they provide gas, service and equipment. We are glad we contacted them for help!
