We made a special request of Dr. Lou with respect to time and location, and he didn't hesitate to accommodate us. Luna made her transition on her terms, and ours. No fuss, no struggle for Luna. No stress, anxiety or regret for us. It was as joyous and beautiful as something so sad could possibly be. There is nothing we would change about our experience. Dr. Lou is doing sacred work by bringing his very special and unique gift directly to the pet owner and the pet. His generosity, compassion, and care for both pet and owners are evident. The cost was $500 just for the cremation, which through a non-emergency vet would be around $200. Because of the holiday I could not transport the body to a vet and so paid up. Then I was shown a folder of memorial urns and items I could buy. I was appalled. Grieving people do not make good choices, but usurious Agape thinks it can make more bucks by playing on our sorrow. But the real horror, after all that, was finding out my cat's cremains were being shipped through the post office--the cheapest way possible and so insulting. sending your pet home on a mail truck. I was able to get the cremains off the truck and to the vet, but for $500 I should have received Fed Ex kid glove treatment. I fault the vet clinic for using this greedy company. I have had other cats cremated and have never experienced such treatment. I just wonder if the ashes I get will be my cat's--some places take videos of their cremations, but I expect Agape has no proof the ashes are whose they say they are. Shame on them.

This is a revised review of my previous review which I deleted. In March of 2026 I called Pooches…read morePets and Pals because my 14 year old 75 lb dog Cami needed a bath. I explained she had multiple physical problems, arthritis, weak hind legs and nervous incontinence before we scheduled the visit. She also had severe anxiety issues and I decided a mobile groomer at home would be best. Kara said that she had a lot of difficulty getting it done, and would not be able to continue helping Cami, and tacked an additional $50 onto the bill which I paid. Unfortunately, it turned out that Cami had cancer and tumors on her spleen and is now deceased as of a few weeks ago. Perhaps if Cami had been a smaller dog, it would not have been such a difficult process to get done.

After several rounds of bloodwork, urinalysis, medications and replacement blinds, I finally reached out to Kara. While we're still working through his changes in behavior, he has shown some progress. Rocky just adores her. Kara will be taking over the grooming so Rocky can still get the bits of reinforcement. I finally went in person and they told me that the owner doesn't want any new clients but does not want to say so publicly. Very frustrating and a waste of valuable time. I would ask the owner to give potential clients the courtesy of letting us know what's going on.
