They had everything I needed and tempted me with several things I didn't. I'm impressed with how well they keep this place going. Given what I see in town (Ovid, Elsie, Saint Johns), I cannot imagine what it takes to keep a place like this going, and it's going pretty good.

We bought ground round (95% lean), NY strip steak (we shared 1 steak and it was too much, but delicious) and center cut pork chops. $30. Really! A week ago I paid $20 for 3 pounds of 85% lean ground beef at Meijer!! Brant is a 40 minute drive for us, but I think it's well worth the drive. I'm hooked.

Today, I decided to take a stroll on down to OhMi and get a 20oz cold brew. Such a phenomenal day for weather out there people, the best of the year so far, I do say! As I enter the business, I'm greeted with a friendly hello and I begin looking around as there were some folks ahead of me. They have wonderful merchandise for sale as well as healthy kombucha drinks along with their chocolates and coffee of course. I would recommend all their chocolates. So packed with flavor and often fudge like, they're kept cold, and they have, I believe, 180 or so flavors! However, I was only looking for a cold brew today! "Well, what did you order already?! Tell us!" Okay, okay, I'll tell ya. I asked what they'd recommend as I'm down to try any and all flavors! The friendly lady said they have a special from St. Patrick's Day still available that has some sort of Irish Whiskey flavor. She went into greater detail about the drink, but it escapes my mind, sorry y'all. But anyways, I was already sold! Well, it turns out it was thirsty Thursday, so I got a dollar off my drink! Absolutely awesome, can't beat a 20oz for only $4 and at this quality too! I decided to get one chocolate because why not? I got the superior fudge which I devoured about 20 feet outside of the shop! They gave me a free two-pack of chocolate surprise cookies too! The good folks in there are always giving away free goodies, and I'm down for it! The cookies were super soft with a hint of what I feel is a molasses taste. Almost like the delicious homemade molasses cookies my mom used to make! The chocolate surprise is in the center, and it's a smooth light chocolate! I highly enjoyed them, thanks! The coffee was phenomenal and refreshing. The coffee here has never disappointed, and I love trying all the different varieties! These people are like mad scientists when it comes to the flavors, but they're doing nothing but good in the community and in their shop too! Love this place and always look forward to coming back! Less parking towards the front. It's a decently large space situated on a hill. Regular restrooms and port a potties. The cider mill was unfortunately closed when I went mid week during the days it's very family friendly. On weekends it's supposed to be busier and the back bar by the field is open. Go early and find a spot. The cider is pretty good as well, does not taste super artificial fake apple tasting which is a plus. The donuts are obvi good but they are like cinnamon sugar (powdered sugar).

I walk up to the counter, ask for two apple fritters, and the lady hits me with "That'll be eight bucks." Eight bucks! For TWO pastries! I'm standing there like, "What, do these fritters come with a trust fund?" Don't get me wrong--they were good, but not eight-dollars-good. For that price I want them to cure my seasonal depression. Then the bathrooms--holy hell. You ever walk into a place and think, "Oh, I guess the zombie apocalypse already happened"? That was the vibe. Floors sticky enough to rip your shoes off, smell like someone's been fermenting cider in there since the '90s. I'm not saying I'm a bathroom snob, but for a place that charges artisan-pastry prices, maybe throw some bleach around once in a while. Overall--yeah, I'll probably still go back. I'm a sucker for cider mills. But Uncle John, buddy, if you're gonna rob me blind for fritters, at least make sure I'm not scared to wash my hands afterward.
