What can I say. This store is always dirty and less than clean and outside of a few employees the service is usually poor and very unfriendly. we have all come to accept that but today was a special ind of unpleasant. I was there today Saturday 6/20 at 9:25 AM. I was going to buy a case of wine but the wine carriers were locked in the liquor area which was locked for some reason with no employees in site. Next I went to the deli counter for some meats and cheeses. There was no one there and after 6 minutes I asked the woman at the Murrays cheese counter if any one worked at the deli on Saturday mornings. She said they may be in the back so I returned and said hello very loudly 3 times no response. So far 2 to 2 for the purchase I came to make. Next stop the chicken thighs that they have on sale. Surprisingly I found an employee working in the meat area who told me that they don't have those in stock. I know that usually at this store there is a 75% chance that they won't have the advertised sale items, so no real surprise here. I couldn't bring myself to continue shopping here today so I decided to leave. On my way out I stopped by the customer service counter to at least tell them that I was leaving as they couldn't serve me. She did offer to call someone to the deli counter but I told her it was too late they had wasted enough of my time. The good news is I did go somewhere else and bought 12 bottles of wine and my deli meat and cheese as well as the other things I had planned to buy today. a really disappointing experience at Smith's. The yogurt I bought was expired, and several vegetables looked like they were being constantly sprayed with water just to appear fresh--but once I got them home, they spoiled quickly. It feels misleading and not up to basic quality standards. Customers shouldn't have to double-check expiration dates on everything or worry about produce going bad right away. This store has multiple problems. Do NOT buy gift cards here. I bought a $100. Home Depot Gift Card and after I mailed it found out a used worthless Target Gift Card was inside. this store is also mostly self checkout and that can be frustrating. This store often does not stock sale items. Management and customer service is rarely available to solve problems. This store is not as clean as it should be and often is very cluttered. The NEW LOW is when they do have a cashier on they have an attitude. Last week we purchased 6 bottles of wine and the store (of course) was out of the wine carriers. The cashier refused to bag the wine bottles and said my husband didn't ask nice enough....(guess she wanted a tip or a blow job?) Yesterday I was so happy for a second that a cashier was on. I saw someone at a register with a lit sign so I unloaded my groceries and the belt was moving. Then the cashier just decided to leave. This Smith's Grocery must be the absolute WORST grocery store to shop at on the planet. read more

Been shopping at Smith's for the most recent seven months now, usually just dropping by for fruits and veggies. Sometimes I need to have Instacart deliver for me. I'll use that app as a grocery list and visit the store if I'm close by. Sometimes the product on the app isn't available at the store locations. In any case, there's usually another brand of the same product. This gives me the opp to price shop. Often their products are discounted with a Smith's rewards card. Please get one! The great thing too, is Smith's carries Kroger brand's label and I trust their brand name. The label has everything I've needed from taco and sandwich ingredients, ice cream, baking necessities, breakfast stuff, and even fish, chicken, or meat items. I discovered a small international section as well. Inside the store, they have a limited section of booze, but I was still able to find something for the parties I've attended. It looks like some of the more popular names can be found though. From the clerk at this location's monitored and secured booze section, I was educated that liquor and liqueur are pronounced differently - thanks with a giggle snort! Some other pluses include a bakery, meat and deli service, and last minute flowers, balloons or gift ideas. The customer service at this location were all great anyway. Although I enjoy my discounts and reduced gas prices, this store leaves much to be desired. Not just on a few occasions, but regularly it is out of stock on regular items. Also the grocery carts are in bad need of replacing. A lot of them are broken or hard to push. On many occasions the carts are all in the parking lot and I have had to tell the customer service desk they needed have someone bring them in. This store is far more convenient for me than Aliente; however, I find I'm shopping at Aliente more often since I know the shelves are stocked and the carts are in good condition and always available. 1) Samantha, the cashier working Sunday morning 11/2/25 is very rude. She was arguing with another employee while there were 6 people in line waiting to checkout. When I put my soda on the conveyor belt she said, "I dont need no soda on the belt." Very rash and rudely. 2) the app doesn't work. I put my alt ID in and it won't take it so I missed out on 7 digital coupons that could have saved me $15. "Customer service" doesn't open until 9am so they were no help. Im not waiting for an hour to talk to them. 3) what happened to 3 in line open another register? No less than 6 people in line the whole time. By the time I left, there were 10 people in that line. I had a pickup order and once again, the person picking the order gave me expired Home Chef Meals. I have been standing in the Guest care line since 4:30 pm. One person working with 10 people in front of me. Then at 5:25 with 1 person in front of me and 10 people behind they decide to do a shift change. First of all train your pickers on checking dates for pickup orders! Secondly, do a better job of thinking about your Customers! This is totally unacceptable, you all have got to do better! There is a Starbucks in this store right when you walk in by the floral and produce department. I also love the isle with all the organic foods -gluten free foods and vitamins you could think of They also have the gas station here too so you can use your points you saved on your gas right when you leave the store. read more

This location isn't handicapped friendly. There are a lot of obstructions to where the motor carts can't get around.

I do understand the store was closing at 12; however, I came in at 11:50 and was told at the front that I just had a few minutes as I scurried away. I was holding nothing but my wallet and phone and someone wearing a Smith's logo jacket approached me and said I needed to head to the register. I said I just needed to grab something two isles over. He looked me up and down and said "no you need to leave". I said fine and went towards the exit where the other employee asked me if I had trouble finding my items. I told her what had happened, and another customer chimed in with a similar experience. She said he was with LP. when I exited the store it was 11:58 and I was not allowed to make my purchase for no clear reason. I am super disappointed with this experience read more

This grocery store is close to my gym so, post workout meals and meal prep are conveniently made with a quick stop here. I shop at Albertson's and Vons but the employees, layout and products are much better at Smith's. Organic produce isn't super expensive here. They have a health food aisle that has protein powder, protein bars, Kind bars, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, vitamins, vegan/wholistic products, pancake and other mixes (for low-carb/ vegan/ gluten-free fans), coconut products, varieties of non-bleached and natural flour, kale chips, sweet potato chips, etc. Of course, they have non-organic items too. They carry Arctic ice cream (low-fat, low-calorie, high-protein) and Blue Bell (the opposite of Arctic ice cream). They have a deli that actually sells great-tasting stuff. Bring back the hand baskets. I live very close to this store and prefer not to have a shopping cart plus I like to play video poker there and I'm pretty sure it's a fire hazard to have the slot room loaded up with shopping carts. I've asked several people that work there about what happened to the hand baskets and the reply is that the customers steal them. This is simply not true because I see them there and they are being used by the employees to put together online orders. Today was my first day of trying to couponing and when I tell you I was so nervous. When I got to the register I almost put everything back. I did not wanna make a mistake or do it Incorrectly. I have heard so many horror stories about mean or rude cashiers who won't even give you a chance even if you were following every rule or policy of the store. But when I got to my register I was helped by a cashier by the name of Zee. When I tell you she was so understanding, kind & helpful. Her customer service was over and beyond My expectations.She made my visit such an exciting experience. If my vote counted I would make her employee of the month. Do you have the most helpful people in the store. I wish they didn't change the prices on the fried chicken because I stopped buying.

I find the employees at the self-check outs to be attentive, helpful, and friendly. Nothing against any of the other employees. I just don't have a need to interact with them. This store is a convenient location for me, but I'm happy to see Sprouts has opened just across the street where I can now purchase fresh produce. The produce at Smith's is old and soft, and the pre-bagged produce, like potatoes, onions, and oranges, almost always contains rotten pieces. read more

This young Black Man at the Deli has always been the friendliest towards his customers! That is what makes a great place to visit. The not so-great, the store does have these digital special that you have to fumble around your device, scan and add to get the discount. I went in this morning to pick up a few things & it was insane. Only one person at an actual checkout lane, the rest was all self checkout, which was slammed. Then, discovered they no longer have plastic bags, just paper ones, which are totally worthless. Handles were ripping on some before they ever left the store. Handicap people were stressed & having a lot of difficulty & only ONE store attendant to help. It was a frustrating nightmare. I will go back to pickup, but if they use the paper bags, that could be a deterrent. IF I go back in, I will bring my own bags.
