Home Depot Gift Card and after I mailed it found out a used worthless Target Gift Card was inside. this store is also mostly self checkout and that can be frustrating. This store often does not stock sale items. Management and customer service is rarely available to solve problems. This store is not as clean as it should be and often is very cluttered. The NEW LOW is when they do have a cashier on they have an attitude. Last week we purchased 6 bottles of wine and the store (of course) was out of the wine carriers. The cashier refused to bag the wine bottles and said my husband didn't ask nice enough....(guess she wanted a tip or a blow job?) Yesterday I was so happy for a second that a cashier was on. I saw someone at a register with a lit sign so I unloaded my groceries and the belt was moving. Then the cashier just decided to leave. Been shopping at Smith's for the most recent seven months now, usually just dropping by for fruits and veggies. Sometimes I need to have Instacart deliver for me. I'll use that app as a grocery list and visit the store if I'm close by. Sometimes the product on the app isn't available at the store locations. In any case, there's usually another brand of the same product. This gives me the opp to price shop. Often their products are discounted with a Smith's rewards card. Please get one! The great thing too, is Smith's carries Kroger brand's label and I trust their brand name. The label has everything I've needed from taco and sandwich ingredients, ice cream, baking necessities, breakfast stuff, and even fish, chicken, or meat items. I discovered a small international section as well. Inside the store, they have a limited section of booze, but I was still able to find something for the parties I've attended. It looks like some of the more popular names can be found though. From the clerk at this location's monitored and secured booze section, I was educated that liquor and liqueur are pronounced differently - thanks with a giggle snort! Some other pluses include a bakery, meat and deli service, and last minute flowers, balloons or gift ideas. The customer service at this location were all great anyway. Although I enjoy my discounts and reduced gas prices, this store leaves much to be desired. Not just on a few occasions, but regularly it is out of stock on regular items. Also the grocery carts are in bad need of replacing. A lot of them are broken or hard to push. On many occasions the carts are all in the parking lot and I have had to tell the customer service desk they needed have someone bring them in. This store is far more convenient for me than Aliente; however, I find I'm shopping at Aliente more often since I know the shelves are stocked and the carts are in good condition and always available. 1) Samantha, the cashier working Sunday morning 11/2/25 is very rude. She was arguing with another employee while there were 6 people in line waiting to checkout. When I put my soda on the conveyor belt she said, "I dont need no soda on the belt." Very rash and rudely. 2) the app doesn't work. I put my alt ID in and it won't take it so I missed out on 7 digital coupons that could have saved me $15. "Customer service" doesn't open until 9am so they were no help. This is the store I mostly frequent, and I will say, the employees are "Always helpful!" I can usually find what I need a timely manner. But today, I went to the Deli, and the seafood area. The deli workers are ALWAYS pleasant!..anyway, standing at the deli, I peak over to see that the Crab-legs are Half Price! Today, they are $9.99 a pound. I had a pickup order and once again, the person picking the order gave me expired Home Chef Meals. I have been standing in the Guest care line since 4:30 pm. One person working with 10 people in front of me. Then at 5:25 with 1 person in front of me and 10 people behind they decide to do a shift change. First of all train your pickers on checking dates for pickup orders! Secondly, do a better job of thinking about your Customers! This is totally unacceptable, you all have got to do better! I do understand the store was closing at 12; however, I came in at 11:50 and was told at the front that I just had a few minutes as I scurried away. I was holding nothing but my wallet and phone and someone wearing a Smith's logo jacket approached me and said I needed to head to the register. I said I just needed to grab something two isles over. He looked me up and down and said "no you need to leave". I said fine and went towards the exit where the other employee asked me if I had trouble finding my items. I told her what had happened, and another customer chimed in with a similar experience. This location isn't handicapped friendly. There are a lot of obstructions to where the motor carts can't get around.

I come here often and lately the aisles are just a mess. I wasn't even able to walk down the one aisle because of mess while the person was stocking. Either stock at night when it is not busy or keep a clear path for customers. read more

I shop at Albertson's and Vons but the employees, layout and products are much better at Smith's. Organic produce isn't super expensive here. They have a health food aisle that has protein powder, protein bars, Kind bars, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, vitamins, vegan/wholistic products, pancake and other mixes (for low-carb/ vegan/ gluten-free fans), coconut products, varieties of non-bleached and natural flour, kale chips, sweet potato chips, etc. Of course, they have non-organic items too. They carry Arctic ice cream (low-fat, low-calorie, high-protein) and Blue Bell (the opposite of Arctic ice cream). They have a deli that actually sells great-tasting stuff. Bring back the hand baskets. I live very close to this store and prefer not to have a shopping cart plus I like to play video poker there and I'm pretty sure it's a fire hazard to have the slot room loaded up with shopping carts. This young Black Man at the Deli has always been the friendliest towards his customers! That is what makes a great place to visit. The not so-great, the store does have these digital special that you have to fumble around your device, scan and add to get the discount. I went in this morning to pick up a few things & it was insane. Only one person at an actual checkout lane, the rest was all self checkout, which was slammed. Then, discovered they no longer have plastic bags, just paper ones, which are totally worthless. Handles were ripping on some before they ever left the store. Handicap people were stressed & having a lot of difficulty & only ONE store attendant to help. It was a frustrating nightmare. I will go back to pickup, but if they use the paper bags, that could be a deterrent. IF I go back in, I will bring my own bags. Used to be a good grocery store but not anymore...then they remodeled...I believe the person that designed their store went to the Helen Keller school of design as you can't find crap in that store and when you do they most likely are out of stock. The reason given for closing the store at night was to restock...LIE!!! Now they aren't open 24 hours and you still have to dodge pallets of merchandise. I think Smiths (Kroger) is involved in either class based service or racism. Go to the Horizon Ridge store in Henderson or the Sandhill store...see the difference between the areas with a more Caucasian and higher per capital demographic and North Las Vegas...striking difference.
