While walking by I noticed there was an open house sign. I had to go in. At first glance everything seems okay. As I walked in I was greeted by a passing member that assured me if I had any questions the steward/bartender or any other member could help. If for some chance they can't help, he'd be right back. The inside was pretty open and everyone (6 people) was really friendly. A guy at the bar ended up buying me a drink while we talked about all the changes around the place. I walked outside and it was beautiful. I sat on the deck and the steward brought me a really well priced huge burger and fries for under $8. It was better then most and it was a little bigger than the bun. Sweet place to bring a date, but a lot different than a restaurant. A few weeks later I went back with a friend and we had beer. It was one of those 100 degree nights, but the back deck at the club had a nice breeze. Beer was 2 bucks for a can, 3 for a bottle! Everyone was going back and forth from the docks to get to the boats. There was an event that night (maybe a 30th birthday) and the people at the party told us we're welcome to stay and to help ourselves to the food. (It's a private club, that's open to the public a lot, during events, we shouldn't have been there, but they invited us to stay) It was a great time. Great people. Both my friend and I ended up joining for $50. The $50 gets us access to the club Thursday through Sunday from 3pm to midnight or something like that. I never stay past 10. $50 to enjoy awesome sunsets and hang out with nice boating people that I hope will bring me for a cruise sometimes. I give it 5 stars because it was a great time for so little money and the people were great. It wasn't fancy and we didn't pay for fancy, but it was respectful and friendlier then most places. The food was a lot better than I thought it would be and even joining the club cost as much as a dinner for two, but it'll last all year! Can't beat it. The office / guest services area inside is pretty well staffed and they have bathrooms and lockers so seemed promising. Unfortunately after you pay it becomes clear the main intent of this place is sailing. If you want to do anything else, do not come here. I had to chase multiple people down for us to get assistance with getting paddles and we had to go out into the water on our own with little to no direction. In the end, we didn't even get to spend the full 2 hours you pay for out on the water because it took so long to get setup on our own. Don't come here for anything but sailing!

She is a member of the yacht club and a volunteer, so she doesn't seem to care that much about the people who are renting the upstairs space. I found her flippant and cold and sometimes on the verge of being annoyed with me at times. Given how important someone's wedding day is, it's helpful if the vendors are cooperative, friendly, and emotionally invested in helping you succeed. This was my only complaint, however, the venue itself is BEAUTIFUL and for the price, a real steal, if you want a beachside wedding.

Our kids had such a great time swimming while we were at anchor near a place called Worlds End. We had a cruise around the Boston Harbor islands while Captain Rick shared his extensive knowledge of the area. Fantastic! So great to learn from a local expert.
