Fast and reasonably priced. When UPS made a delivery mistake, Judie made a thorough inquiry and corrected it promptly.

It would have been an easy job for most bookbinders (and I know, because over the years I've dealt with binders in NYC and LA who did a total of seven volumes for me). But Turul did an amateurish job. The binding isn't square; the space between front cover and the first magazine gives it the effect of a looseleaf binder. Threads at least an inch long protrude from between magazines. Looking at either the top or the bottom you can see how unevenly the magazines have been stitched together. Adding insult to injury, they estimated four weeks to do the job. Six weeks passed without any word, and I finally called them the other day and it STILL wasn't done. I'm convinced they rushed the job because they're going on vacation for a month beginning next week. I'm heartbroken. For years these copies sat in a box, and I rarely looked at them for fear I would inadvertently damage them. Finally I decided to have them bound so I could have the pleasure of reviewing my work from long ago. Well, now they're ruined. Folks, if you're thinking about binding magazines and getting repairs on books that mean a great deal to you for sentimental reasons, do NOT trust them to these people.
