Based on my experience with Precision I would not recommend calling them for any roofing issues…read more Called Precision Roofing in April 2025 after discovering a leak in my roof. They put on a brand new roof in May 2025. By September 2025 that new roof is leaking in a different spot that has sustained no damage, weather or other. After calling them back they sent someone out to put some caulking material in the area which did nothing, It leaked the very next time it rained. They then told me if I wanted a long term solution I would need to replace the HVAC flue; the same HVAC flue that has been on the home for over 60 years. At no point during the pre-quote inspection, during the quote presentation, while working on the roof, or while collecting payment in full did anyone from Precision Roofing disclose that this was an obstacle that they could not completely seal off. Telling me this after I discovered the new roof leaking is ridiculous. Maybe it's something else, but to me it feels like you either took a job you couldn't complete or did poor work and are making excuses afterwards. All I know is 4 months after Precision Roofing put a brand new roof on my house for 10K I have to call a roofing company again for a leak in my roof

When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter.

We had an excellent experience with Tom Barrowclough Contracting on our recent home renovations…read more Tom met with us promptly after I called to request an appointment for a quote. Our project included a new roof, siding and all new windows. Tom delivered our detailed quote within a week or so. Our project started mid July 2018 and was completed last week. We were informed by Tom that the foreman, Paul Newman and crew would arrive at 7:00 am on a Monday morning, which did happen. Going forward Paul was in communication with us daily informing us of the next days schedule. All coordinating of product delivery, plumber, electrician, plasterer were under his supervision. There were no delays even with the August extreme heat. The crew of 3 were courteous and worked consistently through out the day. All materials were cleaned up at the end of the day. We requested some additional projects and the crew all worked together and made it happen. This included painting all the new window trim and a few rooms and ceilings. What impressed us the most, beside the quality of work, was that the Barrowclough team took our project and ran with it while consulting with us if needed. We had quotes from other roofers that were less expensive, however, the materials were subpar. One roofer was going to use shingles that had been recalled in Canada! The name of the gentleman that was at our house initially is Steven and he runs a phenomenal crew! They hustled and worked like a team. My neighbors were marveling over how fast they worked and the organization they used to shingle the stripped roof. We have two layers they had to tear off and I swear the shingles were off in an hour! Danny, the owner, was there for the last portion of the job. This guy knows his stuff. I had some questions about a ridge vent, and he could have taken advantage of me and charged a heck of a lot more. But he instead we talked about the ventilation and determined it was not in my best interest to cut into the perfect cedar under the shingles to install a ridge vent. He is very respectful and I believe he does honest work and did not go higher than the quoted price.

they get the job done fast, but there quality, craftsmanship and caring about doing a good job, is…read moreseriously lacking. they destroyed a 12 ft section of aluminum flashing that abuts the sunroom roof and house wall. they made numerous 2 inch holes in the flashing, my guess is with a pry bar, during the removal of the shingles below the flashing, speed is everything, taking your time to make sure you don't damage the flashing is an afterthought. Now I'm concerned about all the other flashing on my roof, that was probably damage during the roof job, that I won't know about until I see the leaks In my house interior.

Naturally I reached out to Len Gibely. What was their response? "Unfortunately we are not taking on any new roof repairs at this time. We are currently booked 8 months out. Maybe try reaching out to the company that installed your roof?" Ok. So apparently there is a waiting list of people with actively leaking roofs willing to wait 8 months to have them repaired? Len Gibely must have branched out into mold remediation as well as roofing. And as they must surely know, since I've been a customer of theirs for so long, that the 203k construction company that rehabbed the house isn't going to be come back for a roof repair 9 years later - they only do total rehabs. If you want a company you can depend on, look somewhere besides Len Gibley. By the way, what's up with the reversal of the Gibely and the Len?
