There are a lot of good things I see. They have a lot of agents, so it's not hard to find someone to help. They have someone to greet you as you come in, so you can be directed to the right person or place. They have computers for you to use, connected to printers for printing out things. They have free wifi available if you bring your own devices. The printers also fax and copy for you, and someone helped me to scan some documents to a file for emailing. All of these services are free, as long as you are using them for job search. However, the fact that I'm being mandated to report in every single week on Mondays before 12 pm is crazy. I have to physically show up at this office at the same time as hundreds of other people, and I can't make it this coming week because I have to go to court-ordered therapy. I can't imagine what kind of lines this is going to be, because the orientation lady already told us to be there at 8 am sharp, or expect to be waiting and waiting. I'm thinking if everyone shows up at 8 am, that's gonna be a long line for EVERYONE anyway. I hear that they will be giving me some money for gas when I show up, though, so I hope that will happen. Being forced to look for a job, with all the reporting, really detracts from what would otherwise be a great experience. Why shouldn't I be happy with free services to help me find a job? But I'm required to log and sign into their website and attend orientation, etc. It would be nice without the threat of force. I mean, is the irony lost on them that they call themselves "Workforce" when they really mean "Forcework"? So, I think my review is also covering the government policies that created this place... sigh. Also, this location is really hard to find, because the GPS takes me to the wrong place, and the sign is small and hard to read. I put photos up for you. Look for THRIFT OUTLET instead for where to turn...

Whatever you do, don't, I repeat, don't ever apply here looking for a job. This place is a cold…read morehard ripoff! In other words, just another gimmick job. You hoping you'll find temporary work since you are a student or just looking for something to gain little extra to your paycheck...wrong think again! Please think again! These people won't tell you this, but you will have to buy your own work boots, gloves, safety vest, Dickie pants first before you can work. I'm thinking, well how am I going to buy something without any money?! That doesn't make much sense.... They won't even acknowledge you if you don't have those things. Also, they will try to send you to another employment agency like Workforce Solutions to beg them for Walmart gift cards to buy your supplies.. Plus you gotta go to Walmart yourself to get it. WTF?! They are very unorganized to the tee! The ladies in the front never know anything about what jobs are available; I've gone up there several times to be told by Dalila (office clerk), "uh, I don't know what jobs we have, I don't know what they are about, we will call to let you know if some are available" BS!! They never called me to notify me about any openings, I waited for 2 months and nothing! Another thing, don't bother calling because the line is always busy, so you can never get thru to the other side. The job alerts for your cellphones aren't even from this branch; its from the branch on Federal Rd. Wherever that place is, and guess what?! They fail to tell you what time to be there and text alerts are sent out so late! When I went in this morning at 6am (because yesterday Dalila told me that the dispatcher will send out jobs) and waited for 50 minutes for some job openings and to be told that I need work supplies first. How was I supposed to know that?! Nobody told me anything, not even when I applied. I've never applied to an employment agency, so I don't know what to expect. They only seem to cater to male population as most of their jobs are unloading and loading trucks, heavy lifting; while I was there waiting they called up only the men. Equal Opportunity? No, more like discriminatory!! I'm as disappointed as I can be right now; I was thinking they could have helped me find a job that could work around my school hours, but I guess I'll have to look into something else.

Labor ready is making $12 an hour. Somehow that seems wrong at minimum wage. So they bill $20 an hour, They pay the employee $8 an hour. They maybe use the $2 from the $12 for social security matching. They will play favorites. If they have no intention of working you they will not tell you to your face, they will let you sit there for hours.
