We didn't use a GC for our stair remodel, and thus I was finding subs myself, and I found Smith Metalworks. Chris/Marni were clear communicators throughout the process, letting me know what was realistic and where I'd need other subs (e.g., turning the stairs from an open to a closed stringer).
