Our yard was the worst on the street, Curtis and his crews were fantastic to work with. Curtis created a design that we really liked and then made it come to fruition. He and his crew took care of all the hardscape from a new patio front and back to pouring a new driveway with ease. All new landscaping from sprinklers to lights and his choice of plants and color arrangement are impeccable. We are so pleased and he was so easy to work with, it was a large job (everything outside redone) done to perfection. Can't say enough, highly recommend!!! You won't be sorry you chose him. read more

Curtis and his guys did some landscape touch-ups and a patio cover for us and they did a great job. My picky husband wouldn't accept anything but perfection and it is beautiful. I wanted a covered patio but it's a much heavier load to bear on the roof. So we settled for 1/2 covered 1/2 shade bar and I'm very happy with it. It really finishes the back yard nicely. His crew was quiet and polite and neat. I highly recommend them if you want quality work. read more

I found Smith Landscaping via Yelp reviews, and it did not disappoint. We needed a clean-up of our back and front yard (weeding, pulling out dead plants/vines, clean-up), re-planting of some plants/shrubs and spreading of mulch. Curtis the owner, responded quickly to my call, came out to survey the job that week and had a quote to me in a couple of days. The price was reasonable, and we went ahead. The workers showed up exactly when scheduled, and did an excellent job - done within one day. They were meticulous, neat and responsive. Curtis ensured everything was to my liking and even followed up a few days afterwards to see how everything was. We highly recommend Smith Landscape! read more

We hired Smith Landscape to plant some trees, and add drought tolerant landscaping to our front, side and backyards. Curtis has a great personality and is very knowledgable. His crew is very professional - courteous, knowledgable and experienced, and thoroughly cleaned up when they were done! Curtis scheduled a walkthrough a week later, which I appreciated. They stand behind their work, care about their customers and the good reputation of their business. read more

Smith Landscaping just completed our front yard brick hard scape and drought tolerant landscape on our home. Its been 23 years since we moved in and we felt the house needed a facelift. Well I contacted a few landscape companies and either their price was too high or ideas were not very good. After my first meeting with Curtis I knew he was the right person for the job, he listened and collaborated with my ideas and most importantly he made my project BETTER than I could imagine myself. Curtis is a great person to talk with, like talking to a friend..no pressure! His entire crew was absolutely phenomenal, hard working, polite, professional and willing to improvise and change the build to make the project look better at any given time. I know Curtis's Dad, Brian started the company well over 25 years ago, as a father and OG, I can tell you he must be proud of the great job Curtis is doing to continue his legacy and quality of work and reputation. I talked with the workers everyday and to hear how long they have worked with Smith Landscaping, including I believe Enrique over 25 years is the best testament to a companies reputation and longevity in doing quality work. I HIGHLY recommend anyone contemplating a landscape or hard scape project or even a drought tolerant project talk to Curtis at Smith Landscape ...you will be glad you did! (I posted some photos of the project on yelp as well.) I forgot to mention , his reasonable price also beat the other bids I received, and that was just a bonus, because the craftsmanship they produced trumped the cost in priority. Best wishes and continued success to Smith Landscaping. Take care Curtis! read more

Curtis of Smith landscape was the only contractor we found after many hours on the internet and phone, that had good reviews, returned my calls, gave me a reasonable estimate, and in the end came through very dependably . Thank you Curtis. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Curtis, his company, and the people that work for him. Curtis himself is professional, polite, level-headed, super-personable and easy to talk to, communicative, and undeniably knowledgeable about all things landscaping. His team is also professional, on time, work very hard, and take great care to make sure you're happy with all phases of the work being done. And most importantly, the final product turned out fabulous. We love the beautiful upgrade to our backyard! Having had decades of experience in the service industry, this is the kind of company one hopes to work with. Can't wait to have Curtis and his team back to work on more projects! read more

Professional, super responsive, honest, hardworking, price competitive ... these are just a few words to describe the company of Smith Landscape & Maintenance that I had the pleasure of experiencing Curtis Smith, the owner and his staff could not have been easier with which to work The result of this job being a renovation of a bad drip system job from another company was perfection We could not be more pleased in every aspect I highly recommend Curtis and his staff read more

Curtis and his team were professional and knowledgeable. They did a full overhaul of our front yard and it came out beautiful! The price was very reasonable and once the job started, they worked continuously to finish. We would strongly recommend that you give them a try. We get many many compliments on our front yard. Thank-you again Curtis and Smith Landscapers! read more

I cannot praise Curtis enough. He did our yard last year early summer. He put in a pergola, stamped concrete patio, finished our side yard with stones and landscapes our planting beds. The pergola is stunning and the stamped concrete was so well done. Curtis was so professional. His team was tidy, prompt, very friendly, very accommodating, and they finished on time. Curtis worked within my budget. He gave me great tips and guidance on my trees and garden. He knows his trade and is incredible to work with. A year later, our yard is even more gorgeous. He opened a completely new space for us to enjoy. Thank you Curtis!!! read more

Curtis Smith and his Landscaping crew did an AMAZING job taking the ideas my husband and I had in our heads and bringing them to life!! Our front yard was in desperate need of an elegant but affordable design. Enter Curtis Smith who listened and then executed beautifully a design that gave our home the elegant and expansive look we wanted. Curtis' team was always on time, always professional, clean and courteous. We were so grateful that he was able to design gently elevating steps leading up to our front door. Before, visitors had to walk up the steep driveway to get to our entrance. Now when my husband and I drive up to our home, we beam with pride at how grand and elegant it looks because of the design Curtis helped us achieve. What a blessing to work with someone who is honest and fair and who goes the "extra mile" to give his customers so much more than expected!!!! read more

We could not be more pleased with the finished results of our beautiful backyard installed by Smith Landscape. They truly created a master piece from a blank canvas. The dedication and attention to detail is bar none with the highest quality of landscaping you can come to expect by Smith Landscape. Curtis offered a very reasonable quote from many quotes taken prior. His communication / followup on any questions asked throughout the project install was very timely and informative. If you are seeking someone with great knowledge in all aspects of Landscaping, Curtis Smith Landscaping is your go to. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Curtis is a great guy, and has been wonderful from the start. He provided us with lots of friendly communication throughout the process which I appreciate. We worked with him and Hector to have three custom wrought iron gates designed and installed on the sides of our house. They turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier. Hector's work is top of the line and he is so nice as well. We highly recommend this comany! read more

Most amazing family owned and operated business. I called Curtis Smith and he arrived on time for the appointment and was extremely professional. Curtis was very knowledgeable in regards to everything from building a custom BBQ for me, and installing all new hedges, trees, and roses along with the irrigation for my wife. Curtises employees were also extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process which took less time than expected. Curtis was very well priced and I would love to add an extra star, however yelp won't allow it. I could not speak more highly about Smith Landscaping and would recommend him to everyone that takes pride in their home, but doesn't want to break the bank. AMAZING ACROSS THE BOARD! read more

I recently had Curtis Smith come to my home because of a drainage issue in my backyard. He spent approximately one hour looking at my drainage problem, and then the following week had his guys dig up the dirt around the drains and determined that I would need to have a plumber with a scope to thoroughly see what was causing the problem. It could be roots or dirt. He referred me to a plumber to resolve this problem. When I called Curtis this morning to ask him what I owed him for his time, he said "nothing." He felt that because he wasn't able to fix the drain issue, he wasn't going to charge me. I thought it was very nice of him to spend his time trying to fix the drain issue, and when he couldn't, he referred me to someone that could. I would definitely use him in the future for landscaping. read more

This was our second job by Curtis and his crew. As expected the result was as before Outstanding!!! Curtis takes the time and listens to what you want. Then offers his experience to lead you to success. He and his crew are courteous and respectful throughout the process. Not to mention his attention to detail. We cannot say enough. Look no further, Smith Landscape is your answer. read more

Curtis was fantastic! Called him based on his Yelp reviews and he exceeded our expectations. We called him to come out and quote the removal and replacement of what was previously done and he was willing to work with our small budget. Curtis was very professional and had a lot of great ideas on how we could get everything we wanted and still stay in budget. The entire process was so fast and easy. Basically, you tell him what you want, pick a date and he takes care of everything. His crew was on time and did a great job even in the extreme heat. They cleaned up everything before they left and Curtis did a walk-thru when he was done to make sure we liked everything and understood the upkeep instructions. I still need my front yard redone and will definitely be using him again. Unlike other companies, Curtis is hands on and was in the back working with the guys to make sure everything went smoothly and turned out the way we discussed. read more

We have completely re-landscaped 4 properties over the years, and found our experience with Smith Landscape, and especially Curtis, as one of the best. Price, knowledge, customer service - they really do bring it all, and turn what can often be a frustrating and dissatisfying experience into a real pleasure. We tore our backyard down to the dirt, keeping only the trees (which they very expertly trimmed). New stamped colored concrete, grass, decorative shrubs, vines, trees and irrigation - they even repositioned and ran electrical to a ridiculously sized hot tub. Curtis is very, very knowledgeable, and may be one of the most courteous and friendly people you will ever meet. His crew works hard, cleans up and are very pleasant people to have in your backyard. Curtis really knows his plants, and can provide not only great suggestions but also a very solid design. We have recommended Smith Landscaping to friends and neighbors without any hesitation. We will be calling Curtis again when we redo the front of the property! read more

About four years ago, Smith Landscape and Maintenance did a complete remodel of our back yard, complete with slate patio, built-in BBQ, fire pit, storage cabinets and housing for our powered pool cover. Recently we discovered a natural gas leak on the line that runs from our house to the BBQ and fire pit, so we called owner Brian Smith. He was immediately concerned and said they'd do something about it. He has passed the business along to his son Curtis since doing our project, so it was Curtis who helped us. The Smith Landscape and Maintenance crew completely rerouted two gas lines, one from the house to the BBQ and a second one from our pool heater's gas line to the fire pit, a total of three days work at NO CHARGE to us whatsoever. In doing the work, they had to remove and replace lawn sprinkler pipes and a set of yard lights. I'm always worried when contractors mess with stuff that's already in place; they often wind up damaging it. But in this case, the equipment was replaced in perfect working condition (they went over it with us to check and correct any problems...we had one bulb that had burned out, not their fault). We've had several remodeling jobs done over the past few years, and frankly we'd become discouraged at the lack of quality and responsibility we got from the contractors and their subs. It seemed to be simply a matter of doing as little as possible and collecting as much money as possible. So it was refreshing and somewhat restored our faith in human nature when the Smiths took complete responsibility for their work without question and with a pleasant can-do attitude! When we need more work done, Smith Landscape and Maintenance will be our first call. http://www.smithlandscape.net/ read more

Curtis was very professional and timely. I had him bid a couple of projects and he provided a detailed quote in 1 business day. He and his team completed a 17x17 ft outdoor patio space and it was completed in 2 days. They even matched our other stamped concrete. Smith Landscape team are experts and beat 2 other quotes! We had a small landscape/hardscape project and, after reading reviews on Yelp, decided upon Smith Landscaping. A landscaping project can be a daunting task. The job needs to be built on trust as there are many different vendors and many different ways to approach a project of this nature. Curtis Smith works hard to establish that trust to help one navigate their project. He worked with us on affordable options for our consideration. The project was finished a few days earlier than originally promised. Curtis is very good with customer service responding in a timely manner. Curtis Smith and his professional crew transformed our ugly, weedy backyard into a beautifully landscaped living space. Over a period of several months, Curtis patiently worked with us as we refined the landscape design which included a new retaining wall, drainage and sprinkler system, stamped concrete patio, lawn area and gardens. His crew of expert masons worked with precision at building our wall and laying out the patio and Curtis was always there, along the way, to answer questions and make any last minute changes in the layout. He even took time out of his busy schedule to help my wife select plants for the garden area. But what impressed us most was the way Curtis and his crew bent over backwards to correct some problems we had with the cement stamping, which I learned can be a "hit and miss" process. Where other contractors would have "ghosted us" Curtis did whatever was necessary to make things right. As I learned, a major landscape project is a difficult process to go through with many problems along the way and I am grateful I chose Curtis to go through it with. Thank you, Mr. Smith. read more

Smith Landscaping landscaped my entire back and side yards 19 years ago and my yard was gorgeous. After 19 years, I needed a refresh of lighting, plants, sprinklers and rock. I got several competitive quotes and Smith Landscaping gave me the most realistic/reasonable. Curtis, is the next generation in Smith landscaping leadership. When I told him what appealed to me, he used his vision and innovation to transform my yard and I'm extremely pleased. We had a little bit of glitch with the lighting and Curtis personally came back to ensure my satisfaction. Curtis stands behind quality workmanship, is highly responsive and a professional. If I could give more than five stars I would. For all reading this review, you cannot go wrong with Curtis Smith of Smith Landscaping. read more

Curtis Smith knows his stuff! Recently, I needed to take out some trees that were dead and posed potential structural damage to my new home. I called Curtis Smith and he immediately said his team would be able to help me out. Curtis personally came to my home to view the issue. His calm demeanor and knowledge of the trees and surrounding foliage made me feel comfortable with his work. Within the next day the trees were gone. He even did a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied with the work. His team was extremely clean and efficient. I highly recommend Curtis and will use them for future landscaping and concrete projects! read more

Curtis came to my house and we discussed the hardscape project I wanted completed. He informed me he had multiple jobs lined up and it may take a month or two before he could start the project. I had no issues with this. Curtis took measurements and informed me he would have the plans drawn up within a week and would give me a quote. I never received an email or phone call regarding an estimate. I called Smith landscaping three months later and again spoke with Curtis. He apologized and came to my house to take measurements again. Curtis said he would write up an estimate and get back to me. I again have received no call or email estimate. Apparently this company did not want my business. read more

We hired Smith Landscaping based on yelp reviews and we did NOT have a good experience. We consulted with several other companies but we thought that Smith Landscaping would do the best job. Unfortunately, we were not happy with the process or the results. Although the project manager is a very nice person, we felt that our backyard redesign project was very poorly planned. There were a lot of last minute decisions, corrections and a general lack of attention to detail. We have several neighbors looking to redo their backyard....but we will not be recommending this company. read more

Curtis and his team were great to work with! From day 1 of planning, Curtis showed up very respectful to the brand new house and was very patient with both our time and the HOA approval process. The HOA required modifications for drainage locations on the drawing he quickly provided, and Curtis dropped off the revised drawing within a day of my email. I took a number of bids for our backyard concrete and gravel project, and Curtis had the most reasonable price and provided drawings whereas other people charged. Once the HOA completed the drawings, he took the first open opportunity to work on our backyard and finished it within the estimated time he gave me. He has great chemistry with his crew, and is also accommodating to last minute changes not drawn on the plan. I would definitely recommend Curits and his team to anyone who needs landscape and concrete work! read more
