We…read morechose this location because it was advertised as being one of his easier paddles, and since we have only been kayaking a couple times (and it's 3 hours) we didn't want to get in over our heads. Johnathan was very very knowledgeable about the area and Cape Cod in general, was able to answer all of my questions about the marsh, and provide interesting talking points and tidbits. We saw several types of wildlife: blue herring, horseshoe crabs, other crabs, clams, egrets, and even a seal in the distance. The paddling itself was not bad at all on this tour; it was very easy to keep up and would be fine for adults of pretty much any activity level, even quasi couch-potato ....your arms will just be a little sore the next morning if you don't really ever use them...like me :) The online booking feature is a real win in my opinion because you can see all the options available at one glance. This is a feature that seemed to be lacking in other Kayaking businesses in the area. My sister commented that she enjoyed this even more than she though she was going to. I will definitely go back again with my husband and do another tour sometime soon.

Best part was how much we learned from our awesome guide Jonathan, who seems to know about everything from seals and shipwrecks to tidal patterns and costal geology. Can't recommend highly enough!

Well kept, clean room, with cozy beds. Microwave, Mini Frig, T.V with Cable. Small coffee pot set up. A desk, table 2 chairs. Hangers and luggage rack. There is a great Pool which is a big perk. Unfortunately, this year was to cold to swim. We had swam last year and it was great! There is a Supermarket across the street and the beach not far at all. The motel provides an informative binder. The town center is actually within walking distance for most people about 1/4 to 1/2 miles away. Becareful though, the road in front of the property, at the traffic lights gets very busy. We witnessed a bad car accident while waiting to cross the street, the 1st year. A Continental Breakfast with delicious homemade muffins is served every morning. To be totally transparent and give a 100% honest review these next things were a few minor issues that only happened our last visit. The water pressure in the shower was very slow. No shower liner, (not the problem) the fabric curtian got soaking wet and wet the whole floor, causing a slipping hazzard. The soap and shampoo/conditioners weren't filled. We were supposed to be given a second key that was never dropped off. Had the T.V. shut off at about 10pm while we were watching, out of nowhere. I called the office to let the staff know and got a NOT my problem response, that I wasn't excepting. This year we had tried to book 2 days again, but only one was available. We decide to take the 1 night and pay more then we would have elsewhere. No sure about next year.

Pizza is prepared at an outdoor oven. I ordered the 10" hand tossed Fig and Prosciutto pizza ($18.00) and half a bottle of Whispering Angel rosé ($18.00). The pizza had sliced fig, shaved prosciutto, honey ricotta, garlic olive oil, and baby arugula. It was very tasty. It took about 15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. The rosé was poured into a plastic cup. The staff members were very friendly. I really adored my time on The Front Lawn on a weekday evening. When we arrived about 5:30pm, it wasn't too crowded yet but as it got later in the evening, groups of people started to appear. We relished our food and drink and played some lawn games. It was so nice to be outside and take in the fresh air. The Front Lawn is a great spot for families and offers a relaxed, open-air atmosphere. There are even staff members to teach guests how to play games or there if you need an extra player.
