My son started at Leport in Ms. Sheikh's class. We immediately saw how much he loved his new classroom and he instantly bonded with Ms. Sheikh, Ms. Greer, and Ms. Sanchez. They were so kind and loving toward him. From day one they advocated for him, going above and beyond to meet him where he was developmentally and push him lovingly to build his confidence. I couldn't have asked for a better class to start my son's time at Leport. It's hard to leave an infant class the he loved so much, so we were naturally unsure how the transition would go. But then we met Ms. Gallo. From our first meeting I was immediately confident that my son would thrive in her class. She is one of the most kind, instructive, fun, and thorough teachers I have met. You feel how much she loves each of her students. My son absolutely loves her and celebrates when we head to the classroom. I've seen him grow so much in a short time and can't wait to see how the rest of the school year goes! He also stays for the after care program. I have been blown away. You never know how after care is going to go. Sometimes teachers just try to pass the time. Not Ms. Patton and Ms. Butler. I smile every day when I got to pick up my son. They do so many crafts and activities. They are learning and playing constantly. The teachers are engaged and can tell you all about the day, what your child is learning - they really know them. On multiple occasions I've heard them mention that "X is interested in paints so we explored that today" or "Y is trying to learn Z so we spent some time practicing". She and her team provided such a nurturing environment from ages 12-18 months as we watched our son grow. Then he had Ms. Gallo from 18-22 months. She became like family with how much our son trusted her and how much we could tell she truly cared about him. Her love and guidance was truly astonishing and we were blown away with how much he learned; he wouldn't be the amazing toddler he is today without her! Not only are the staff the nicest people, they truly care about each individual and the teaching and progress of each child. This includes the "morning care" and "after care" staff who take their jobs so incredibly seriously and bond with each and every kid. My son always runs up at the end of the day with the biggest smile on his face and tells me he had the best day. Not being with your child all day is hard but we've never once questioned our choice with LePort!

I didn't get the name of the nice lady that was taken care of my family member, all my family member was doing was trying to explain to the lady what the letter was about. SO Amy came right over and started yelling "stop being rude stop been rude" with such an aggressive attitude I had to look up & say how is she being rude by her explaining what the letter was about. She was yelling , and walked back by her desk looking mean & rolling her eyes very ,very unprofessional This is really getting out of hand at this school . When i told the supervisors out at recess, they just brushed it off. But one time, towards the end of lunch, this kid flipped me off and then we had to go back to class. She also confiscated my huge pencil that i had brought in as a joke and she never gave it back. The first year i was there, we had a nice firm principal that was fair and treated everyone equal. But then this guy principal came the next year, i think his name was Mr Johnson. He was horrible, he didn't do ANYTHING about the conflict happening at his school. My little brother in like 2023 when he was in 4th grade caught kids VAPING and bringing sharp objects to school and did almost absolutely nothing. I think he suspended her for like 2 days, that's it. The kids were a holes and the teachers did not care, nor did the supervisors at recess. This one supervisor was a biatch to me a lot, she had her son going to this school as well. I feel like I got scam, they should have made a video to talk about the assessment tests, warnings for the parents to consider. I don't think the kids will be happy learning anything here. This place is all about money and intense competitions. The era of AI will eliminate these corrupted educations, absolutely bring no values to the kids. There is one teacher for every ten kids in the classroom, allowing for individual attention. Any behavioral problems are quickly addressed and resolved in a constructive manner that equips students with tools to handle future conflicts. I hate to admit this, but when I compare the way Pegasus first graders interact during free play to the way his public school friends interact, I see a dramatic difference. Pegasus kids are problem solvers; they calm conflicts and seek solutions. Maybe it's a selection bias at the admissions level, but in the end, who cares? I'm proud of my child on the playground and of what he has learned academically. Fingers crossed this continues in his future experiences.

I went to this school when I was an 1st grade and I had tons (and even mean tons) of experience of going there and having fun and talking to other kids. I still shocked that I still remember the memories that I had in this school (it been 5-6 years). After all that experience is gone when I went to move to Harbor View (which that school is okay at best), I still prefer going to this school. Overall the school is kinda quiet and very very nice (yes I caught myself typing "very" twice). The teachers were outstanding at teaching and caring for other students that are needed for help and I never caught my teachers ever being mean to others. The students are... will... the same, they are very nice and caring for others and easy to make friends. The people that worked at the administration office (or the office in general), are very nice and easy to talk too (there were never strict to kids). But however if you are looking for an kid elementary school, I recommending you to pick this elementary school due to very nice environment and nice people!!! Our son attended from kindergarten to 5th grade, and our daughter is finishing her last year after starting in kindergarten. Both of our kids have thrived here and have always felt heard and encouraged to grow, both academically and socially. We love the teachers and entire staff!! They are one of the things that make this school so special. Mrs. Ernst is an amazing principal who brings so much passion, heart and a positive energy to the school. It's clear she genuinely wants the very best for our school and works hard to make it a fun place for kids to learn and grow. After having two kids here, I can honestly say that choosing this school was one of the best decisions we made for them. My daughter, who maintained a 4.0, received an "N" in citizenship--disqualifying her from honors recognition--on the exact same day her teacher chased her down the hall for dress coding, despite other students wearing the same outfit without issue.When we transferred my son to another school, he immediately returned to earning "A's" in harder classes. Unfortunately, attempts to resolve these issues with the principal and the school board were met with indifference, and I know many other families with similar experiences. It appears this school environment only works well if parents are heavily involved in volunteering, staff gifting, and willing to accept unfair treatment without pushing back, as teachers may take frustrations out on the students.

Reading is a huge priority at Moffett!!! My 6th grader still goes back and visits his teachers from time to time. Every single teacher is amazing. No requests needed. I'm going to miss this era of their education. As a parent there were so many opportunities to volunteer on campus and in the classroom. The PTA hosts so many extra circulars too. Made it easy to get to know the other parents and families at the school too. Thank you Mr. Holbrook, Mrs. Brady and the entire staff for teaching, loving and mentoring my boys.
