The class sizes are small, the campus is clean and beautiful, and the curriculum is of a high standard. He barely taught me anything memorable, I had to learn everything about driving from my parents. Our lessons would end early, he'd take long breaks (one time he took a break to buy bread at Traded Joe's), and didn't even let me drive sometimes because my area was "too dangerous". There were times I would just drive in a straight line without doing anything (he controlled the pedals). He teaches you this counting thing multiple times which isn't helpful at all (example: stop at a stop sign and count 2 seconds). In real life and the DMV test there are many situations where you don't count, you use your common sense. You also just wait for the speed to be at 0, no need for so many steps. Maybe he just doesn't fit my learning style but this definitely felt like a waste of $510 considering the fact that I learned nothing.

However, this time around, we learned that Adrian had quit. So we signed up for classes with Daniel. When my daughter barely drove away from our home and down the street, Daniel answered a call and said to my daughter that he had to take the call, but he could still talk to my daughter as needed. So my daughter drove for the first time in her life, through our tract, with a distracted instructor. He did hang up the phone before they left the tract because apparently the phone call got disconnected. At the end of her lesson, Daniel had my daughter pull over to side of street before arriving back to our house. He then pressured her to write a positive Google review for him. We found his behaviors to be outrageous and unacceptable. When we spoke to Jorge, the office manager, about our concerns about Daniel's egregious conduct, his nonchalant reaction was quite unsettling to us. For your child's safety, please consider looking elsewhere for driving lessons.

Ms. Gallo was very informative during the meet & greet and helped eased a lot of my anxieties putting him into a new environment. When he officially started, Ms. Gallo would call and gave updates on how he was doing. Every day after class, she would let us know how his day went and continued to reassure that things would get better. Our son took to her right away. She has been warm, empathetic, and observant of his needs. Over the past couple months, our son has begun to really thrive! He is more confident in himself and very independent. He has taken the skills that he's learned in school and has started generalizing to home. He grabs his plate and utensils when it's meal time. He cleans up after himself when he's done eating. He uses the potty, cleans up, and washes his hands independently. His speech has grown exponentially.
