There were also a pair of ADORABLE 7s, but unfortunately, I couldn't justify the price- they were still $130 despite the "outlet" price. They also have a good selection of cute jewelry and purses, along with men's clothing. Their clothing is largely on the more trendy side- probably bordering on my fine line of what I find as being my style. (Me = slightly nerdy young professional type who likes to look cute, be comfortable, and somewhat stylish... at least sometimes.) The only problem was that one of the girls there was a tad pushy- I don't think she quite had an understanding of my style by the types of things I was picking out and she kept bringing by things telling me that "oh, this was super cute" and "these sold out so fast" and it got a little tiring. I didn't really want to try on the things she brought by, but I felt bad because she was so enthusiastic about it. I made a quick escape partially because my poor husband was waiting for me and because I was hoping to come back another time when I could try again to shop in relative peace and anonymity.

They were great. they made every effort to get my colors and sizes from another store to meet my busy schedule, and they will even ship to you. When so many businesses are struggling, I can see this one growing, as will only the best stores. I'll make it a point to stop there on my Park City trips, I'm way up in Brigham City. I am so glad I got to meet the owner, Lori, a previous buyer for Nordstorm's in OC Calif. It's great to find the CA styles, and fabulous pieces. Also the lingerie selection is a bit small but that's not the primary reason to shop here. The do carry a decent shoe selection but don't expect them to stock for every size-especially bigger sizes which are relatively absent. Store layout is pretty basic-which I feel they could jazz it up a bit more and make it even more attractive and fun. Staff is usually a little shy but friendly and helpful enough to suit. We are from Austin, TX so there's no shortage of custom hat stores, but it was partly the experience that had us buying hats here. We worked with Hannah and all I can say is if you are working with her... you ARE going to buy a hat. She's very good at reading people and picking out what would go best for each individual down to the color and style of the hat. But mind you, this is not ordinary experience. It's extremely personalized to each individual; not just the fitting for proper size, color that works best but the shaping. I think I've spent less time buying a new car and that's not meant to be negative. Rather just to emphasize the personal attention you receive when you want to check out the hats. They have so many colors and style variations for you to look at, but regardless, if you already know how you want your hat to look, they can style it. When you pick out the color you want, you are going to be a basic hat with a flat brim and a round crown. So don't be shocked when they bring out the new, unshaped hat. Right in front of you, they will shape it to the exact style you want and it's really an impressive process to watch. One of the most impressive things was changing the size of the brim. We wanted the brim just a little smaller than the stock hat. They will measure it down to an 1/8th of an inch and after they cut it, you would never know the hat didn't come that way originally. Again, the transformation from the stock hat to the one you take with you is an amazing process to watch. And something I haven't ever seen before, they will actually "brand" your hat if you want. Think of branding like a cow get branded; they have these little branding irons and we chose to get our initials branded on the underside of the brim. A very nice personalization and a great way to make sure someone else doesn't accidentally pick up your hat! They have a wide array of hat bands anything from a very basic but nice hatband that comes with the purchase of the hat, to hand etched solid leather bands with silver buckles for the same price (and sometimes more) as the hat. But when you look at the history of the Burns Western apparel (since 1876), it's clear the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Don't be shocked by the price; again, this is a quality hat that is going to last a lifetime and people will recognize the quality. In the first day after getting the hat, we received so many comments from people passing wanting to know where we got the hat from. If you came to Park City and weren't prepared to carry something like this back on the plane... not to worry. When we finished our trip, we returned to the store and they will put the hat in a nice protective box and ship to your home address so there no worry about how you are going to carry this on a plane. We are already planning another trip in March to Park City and we won't leave before visiting Burns Cowboy Shop to pick up another hat! Everyone here is very nice and helpful, but ask for Hannah. She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. But one warning... if Hannah helps you... you ARE going to buy a hat :) she doesn't pressure, but she knows the hats so well, you are going to feel like something is missing if you don't get one of these hats. We couldn't be happier and you don't have to live in Texas or Utah. You can wear this in New York, Chicago or Miami and people are going to recognize a quality of piece of headwear.

I'm referring to the customers but for the most part, not to "Crown Jewelers" Staff. I have found all of their Staff to be consistently polite, very knowledgeable, and they frequently do Google searches to help out BOTH of you in reaching a buy or sell decision. I suggest that if you see something that you want, consider buying it on the spot. The very next customer may well buy it. The good things don't stay for long. Duh... No customers have ever creeped me out, etc. no bad encounters with any customers inside or outside in the parking area. NEVER. Tips: Bring cash. It's easier to shop in the early afternoon and probably safer too. They can be very busy on Saturdays and in the evening.Seek out the owner, get to know him as he knows a lot about a lot. He's also pretty funny. Tip: He resolves misunderstandings. Enjoy your first and your next visit as well. Oh, if your adverse to pawn shops, then stay home or simply shop or sell where you feel more comfortable. "It's all good".

The staff in the shop are warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is as sophisticated as their suits! Caitlin Andrew was with me every appointment from the initial consultation/design phase to the fittings and alterations. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, helping break down all the subtle nuances and details that go into making a custom suit. This was my first time ever getting a custom suit, and I'm so happy that Caitlin was able to help bring my dream suit to life. Highly recommend. If you want quality and a sensible business owner who actually honors their product, don't use The Ritz Tuxedos.
