I have been seeing Diane for approximately two years and have never felt more in control,…read moreempowered, and educated about my body and my health conditions. She makes me feel so seen and like we are partners in my health, not I'm just an incompetent dummy like other practitioners in town have made me feel. She takes the time to really listen and focuses on the root of the issues. She focuses heavily on balance, giving myself grace, and sustainability when suggesting changes I can make that may help, instead of suggesting 180 degree life overhauls. I have suffered from disordered eating for my entire life and since being in her care I have developed such a better relationship with food and my health and my body. She treats the mind and the body together and she doesn't just treat me, she teaches me and that makes all the difference in the world. I recommend her to EVERYONE!!!

Absolutely the best medical office in Owensboro in my experience. The office is clean, easy to…read morefind, and setup to be very pleasing to both the eye and the soul (love the names of the rooms). The assisting staff of Sarah and Brittany are both kind, patient and accommodating. They are also very friendly and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable, even when I have lots of questions. Diane is kind, first and foremost. She listens to my symptoms and concerns, my goals (short term and long term) and partners with me. I feel that my concerns are always addressed and that I know she has listened to me fully. She is also welcome to newer medicine ideas, which are fully appreciated. I highly recommend for normal medical care, weight loss, and/or assistance with an overall healthy lifestyle

First time patient here!! Came here from a recommendation from a co-worker. I needed to find a…read moreprimary doctor. Scheduling the appointment was fairly easy, got one within a week from the day I called. They even mailed out a packet for me to fill out before my appointment. Arriving to my appointment was abit confusing. The Cool Spring plaza has a couple of HMH family care doctors. This particular one is located in the front of Cool Springs (facing ring road). I parked in the back of Cool Springs, behind this office. I signed in and set up my insurance and other info they needed. I was surprised to have a wait time about 20 minutes. The waiting room was super spacious and a couple of Tvs on and some reading material. Once called back, did normal check up and meet and greet with my Dr and was on my way. Super easy check out and made way to the lab literally a couple of doors down. They were super quick and efficient. I was in and out of there less than 10 minutes. Let's see how it goes when I am sick.

Terrible service! Treated with such disrespect!!! Lastly, we went back to an examining room at…read more1:20. The medical assistant told us we would be seen next because there was only one patient before us. At 2:45 we had not been seen by a doctor or NP. We decided to leave. Every room we passed by was empty and everyone was standing back talking and yet not one person asked if we needed help. Disgusting practice!! I will never take my granddaughter there again. This was the 2nd time a mistake and or neglect was made concerning my granddaughter . I'm reporting today's episode to Baptist Health Patient Advocate.

I've been a patient at the Heart Rhythm Center for years and have always had a true five star…read moreexperience. Bradycardia runs in my family so as long as I can remember my slow pulse has panicked Primary Care doctors. As a child and teenager I knew a pulse of 38 was absolutely normal. As a young adult when I started long distance running it was not unusual to have a pulse in the mid twenties. When I lived in California I had been a study subject of University of California Medical Center in San Francisco and Stanford University. After moving to Kentucky I found a wonderful Cardiologist that was comfortable monitoring my Bradycardia. When my bradycardia started changing in it's normal pattern my Cardiologist referred me to the Heart Rhythm Center. Dr Thomas was the doctor that oversaw my continued treatment. He made recommendations along the way but was understanding about my hesitancy to over react. Once it was obvious I needed to consider a pacemaker due to A-Fib and a heart rhythm that was anywhere from slow to rapid Dr Thomas was the right doctor to handle my case. He had the experience to handle my other medical challenge of allergies to components of a routine pacemaker. Dr Thomas deserves at least ten stars for his ability to locate a modified pacemaker that I would not have an allergic reaction to. Since my successful pacemaker surgery I routinely check in with the pacemaker programmers at the Heart Rhythm Center. I also have follow-up visits with an APRN that is fantastic at the Heart Rhythm Center. The Heart Rhythm Center is not for all heart issues but if your medical condition has to do with any form of rhythm irregularities the Heart Rhythm Center is the place you want to be treated at.

We went there today after just being there 30 days ago for medication refills. First of all our…read moredoctor abruptly left with no notice. Then when you call to get your meds refilled, they tell you how busy they are and will do you a favor by trying to get you in. They can't help you with your meds, even though you just came in recently. When one of the meds happens to be a narcotic, they automatically think you are an addict. Also, we didn't ask for the narcotic in the beginning and can easily do without it particularly if you have to be lectured. Secondly, when we walked into the office, no greeting at all, they said NAME after they finally mustered up the strength to notice you standing there. When you go back to the exam room, the assistant does not give you any recognition. I'm not sure she knew we were there. She then ask which medication you need refilled. You tell her, she begins to tell you that you have never gotten that medication in an argumentative fashion making you feel like you have just robbed a store and got caught. Finally the NP comes in and says it is common practice for the medication to not be listed, but if that is true, why would the assistant not know that before she practically called us liars by telling us we never got it before. Thirdly the NP could clearly see we were agitated, she asked why, we told her to just not worry about it. She said I need to know so I can fix it. We told her that the staff had just been rude here and on previous calls and we were also frustrated because we had recently been in and now we had to come back so soon. After we told her about the staff, she said we were very negative and that only the patients who were trying to get narcotics had been a problem during the transition of losing the other NP. So with that comment, we left and my husband came home suffering with kidney stone pain and bloody urine. We would have told her but I can't believe it would have made a difference to anyone in the office. When you look for healthcare providers, look for people who don't want to just shuffle people around like cattle. Yes my husband was a little rough in his attitude but no one asked if he was in pain. I hope no one goes there who in a bad mental state. At least we just came home and roughed it out.
