We finally found a great dentist. The only problem is that we live 400+ miles away. Every time we visit family in SoCal, we also visit Dr. Pham, who is a sincere, genuine dentist that listens, checks in to ensure that we are doing ok and is honest! He does not try to upsell us root canals and crowns, when a composite filling will address the issue. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Pham. Dr. Pham makes you feel welcome, comfortable and takes the time to answer any questions I had. He is also non-judgemental and he and his staff work with us to accommodate our schedule. I cannot express my gratitude enough! I was unhappy with my previous dental work from another dentist which caused me to have an uneven bite and my jaw felt fatigued on one side. Had an emergency with my filling falling out and needed to get it fixed ASAP. The clinic is very clean and has ample parking space outside. It feels comfy inside. The clinic does not get crowded as they do reservation on appointment basis. With regards to the dentist,Dr. Pham is outstanding with explaining patiently the careplan. He really listens and cares for me as a patient and only suggests what is necessary. He has a very kind personality and at the same time has sense of humor, and so I do not feel intimidated, and my anxiety gets relieved. On my first day visiting the clinic, Dr. Pham explained clearly the results of my xray (which my previous dentist did not bother to do so).Moreover, he also helps in answering phone calls, and he called me one time to let me know that I could come earlier as the patient before me finished early ( I thought this "calling" is just a secretary thing ). On the other hand, Dr. Pham's secretary, Cathy is also superb. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and skillful when it comes to assisting the dentist on my procedures. Dr. David Pham had an office for many years in Valencia, CA where I was his patient. He recently moved to this new location, where I continue to be a patient. Dr. Pham is very professional, friendly, has a great sense of humor and takes the time to explain what is needed and the procedure. He also has a professional and friendly staff, too. I've been to Dr. Pham for cleaning and ZOOM whitening treatments (2 x's). The treatment results were beautiful (my teeth were so white and clean) and he never tried to upsell me. He also takes care of my Mom and she is also very happy with him. His office is very clean, new technology and he takes the time to explain and do the work. I called to make an appointment and she asked if I was making it for myself or anyone one else, I replied off course myself. Right then she HANGED UP. I was completely terrified. I tried calling back, but she refused to pick. I lived not too far so I drove there to confront her, she admitted she hung up because she claimed I was rude? In what way I was rude? Hello, who's the one hanging up here? Regardless this is a workplace, and she needs to be professional and take her personal dislikes elsewhere. Kathy (who set up the appointment and checked my insurance) was very pleasant and made me feel welcome in the comfortable waiting area. On my first visit, Dr. Pham spent a significant amount of time discussing my concerns, performing an exam, and asking my thoughts and opinions on what was going on with the improper treatment I received from a former "group" dentist (a significant occlusal adjustment that affected my jaw alignment). Dr. Pham put everything into perspective and clearly explained why the costly treatment that had been performed by former dentists to fix the problem, and that had been proposed to me going forward, did not and would not work. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Pham. He is kind, understanding, caring, and very knowledgeable. His genuine empathy is the quality that meant the most to me. I don't do reviews much... I guess only when I really like something or really dislike. But I have to say... as far as dentists/dentist offices go, this is THE BEST I've ever been to... to the point I'm perplexed more haven't reviewed it. Ha It's I a dirty little strip mall which makes you apprehensive at first but as you are walking up you quickly realize it is VERY NICE AND CLEAN inside. Which is a nice surprise compared to many dates offices I've been in. The office itself is very bright, clean and modern feeling. The equipment they have is high tech and modern which made, what is normally a terrible experience at best, as good as one can get in a senators chair. Then there's the staff who were ALL so nice and professional... it really does make a difference when you have a pleasant staff! They even had a little sign with my name on it as I walked in the door welcoming me. (Seriously, who does that?!?! THIS PLACE DOES!) Dr Pham was amazing as well. So pleasant and friendly and THOROUGH. His work was gentle and I felt comfortable the entire time he was working on my back molar (as in.. the hardest damn tooth to reach in a persons mouth). I am stoked to have found this place now to the point.. if my insurance changes in the future, I may very well pay out of pocket to come here!
