They had texted me to confirm the date and time of 6/20 at 10:20AM twice to which I responded confirming. As far as I was concerned this was my appointment time. The day of my appointment I was getting ready to leave when they called to ask if I was still coming for my appointment at 10AM.. to which I told them I thought it was at 10:20AM. She had told me that no, my appointment was at 10AM and she would have to check with the hygienist if they could still see me. During this time I double checked the written communication which did, in fact, say 10:20AM. When she came back on she said they could still see me to which I told her, well yes, seeing as my appointment is at 10:20AM and was confirmed to be so twice by your text confirmation system. She continue to argue that my appointment was for 10AM. I show up at the office and they ask me to come back to fill out paperwork (that I had already done the night before when their system sent it to me) and I had told her that they must have messed up because my appointment was at 10:20AM and proceeded to try to show her the texts. She did not want to see the texts and argued with me that my appointment was for 10AM and they had tried to call me the day before to confirm and let me know that they had to bump me up in the schedule. They had only called me ONCE and never said anything about changing my appointment time in the voicemail. I never once received an apology and was only met with snarky attitude so I told them to cancel my appointment and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect to a FIRST TIME patient was very distasteful and I would never recommend them based on that alone. My advice to them is to get organized and improve upon their bedside manner with patients. Two stars only because I never saw a dentist and cannot speak to their expertise or skill.

I find the hygiene people to be friendly and the doctor to be knowledgeable, and also looking out for your best interests. Now the story of the missing star. I took a star off since I hear these stories about dentists who make the experience a lot of fun by providing special equipment to watch video and such like. Granted, my dentist's office is very clean and organized, but it has none of that fun stuff :(

Every time I visit, I have to take a photograph at the front desk and sign in which is a safety precaution. I believe Dr. DeRario is a great dentist. Unfortunately, being that he has two locations, he sees people on specific days. My general feelings for this place is satisfaction, even though sometimes I have fear of dentists overall. I guess most of the time, I leave with a smile because there is always quick turn around. I have never had an appointment that lasted more than 45 minutes. The administrative assistants are helpful, too. They tell me about the co-pays and also work with me to make an appointment that fits best with my schedule. These ladies also send me a reminder a few days ahead to let me know that I have an appointment which I really appreciate. Most times, I do not get appointments with Dr. DeRario. Instead, I have some of dental visits with his associate whose name is Felicia who not only is thorough in cleaning my teeth but kind in assisting me with flossing and answering my questions. Oooh, and good news, there is also a bathroom available.

From the first phone call to book our appointments, walking in and meeting the front office staff, to our meeting Dr. McComber, I knew we had found our family dentist. From the very beginning Dr. McComber took the time to listen to our Mini-Me and her fears, concerns and difficulties with her previous dentist history and Dr. McComber completely understood. She patiently talks Mini-Me through the visit, step by step, explaining what she is doing and why, how to brush properly and floss, fillings and teeth cleaning. The dental Hygienists are so nice and funny and have great chair side personalities they really make the visit pleasant. Front office staff is pretty great as well and when it comes to insurance and benefit coverage they explain it all and we always leave feeling good about our visit and honestly there isn't any of the "dental appointment dread" when we know it's time for our visit. So, I would say that we definitely got majorly lucky when we found Dr. McComber and her Family dental practice.

I searched for "Best Dentist" near me and found Bella Dental. Dr. Michael Alkon & Dr. Alex Shor immediately met with me and thankfully, the pain was soon gone. He even suggested that I perhaps am not remembering my bite correctly. The teeth are too large/long, especially where they now connect in the middle, which is what ultimately affected my bite, which has since been validated. Additionally, the last time I was there for my cleaning, he held a staff meeting - in the waiting room - that ran over into my appointment by close to 20 minutes, and he unapologetically sent myself and one other patient out in the cold (it was January). The front desk apologized for the inconvenience, however Dr. Schor did not and stated "you need to wait, we are in a meeting."

DON'T bother with this one…read more As the previous reviewer stated, the office staff is incompetent, lacks basic customer service skills, are liars, and not one person in that office actually cares about anybody as a patient, just a dollar sign. I was charged $100 for a basic routine cleaning that was %100 covered by insurance (because of a mix up with insurance information). I called the office IMMEDIATELY the next day to correct the insurance information, and every day after that to make sure the claim was submitted correctly, and to have my $100 refunded. No one would call me back. When I did get someone on the phone, "Oh, so and so is on vacation, you'll have to call back next week". Over the course of the past 3 1/2 months I have been trying to get my $100 back. They finally send the check, only to find out that they sent it to my ex-husband, and "Michelle" accuses me of telling her that's where I wanted it sent. Right, because I just am that generous that I want to give my ex-husband a free $100?!?! Then I'm told the check will be reissued, but they're going to have to charge me the bank fees associated with the stop payment of the original check. What?! You're going to try and make me pay for YOUR mistake? I think not. Dozens of phone calls, repeated messages left for Dr. Dlugosz herself (who refuses to call me back and speak to me directly). "Michelle" FINALLY (after literally about 8 or 9 phone calls) agrees to "waive the fees". 3 1/2 weeks go by and I FINALLY get my check. And wouldn't you know it, it was for only HALF of what they owed me, with a statement saying I supposedly owe a missed appointment fee from TWO YEARS AGO. These people are unethical and will do whatever they can to get every last dime out of you that they can. I guess they are financially hurting that bad, but are only making it worse for themselves. My son and I have been patients of Dr. Dlugosz for the better part of ten years, and this is how I am treated?! Never again will I step foot in that office again.

I adore everyone in this office. Always so friendly and helpful! They work with my schedule (NURSES HOURS!)..they work..and fight my insurance for things(like a night guard!). My dentist retired so I decided to give Dr Hanna a try and am I glad I did! Not only is he kind and gentle but a highly skilled dentist! Now both my wife and I are Dr Hanna's patients. As seniors without dental insurance his "in house" plan offers some welcomed financial relief. I highly recommend Dr Hanna without hesitation!
