He has successfully done 2 root canals where at any other dentist, I would request a tooth extraction. I went today for my 6 month cleaning. Dr.Maher Hannah was not there..but the "other" Dr.Hannah(no relation) was there. She started off a tad rough, but after explaining my situation she slowed down and there was no pain. I adore everyone in this office. Always so friendly and helpful! They work with my schedule (NURSES HOURS!)..they work..and fight my insurance for things(like a night guard!). My dentist retired so I decided to give Dr Hanna a try and am I glad I did! Not only is he kind and gentle but a highly skilled dentist! Now both my wife and I are Dr Hanna's patients. As seniors without dental insurance his "in house" plan offers some welcomed financial relief. I highly recommend Dr Hanna without hesitation!

The dentist asked if the tooth was sensitive - answer was no, so no shot. The dentist spent a few minutes (literally) roughing up the top surface of the tooth, then put on some bonding, dried it and then smoothed the top surface. Done! I asked if that was the three surface thing and he gave me the mirror. I thought he was going to give me a 50% credit against the prepayment. Well, I'm done with this practice.

They had texted me to confirm the date and time of 6/20 at 10:20AM twice to which I responded confirming. As far as I was concerned this was my appointment time. The day of my appointment I was getting ready to leave when they called to ask if I was still coming for my appointment at 10AM.. to which I told them I thought it was at 10:20AM. She had told me that no, my appointment was at 10AM and she would have to check with the hygienist if they could still see me. During this time I double checked the written communication which did, in fact, say 10:20AM. When she came back on she said they could still see me to which I told her, well yes, seeing as my appointment is at 10:20AM and was confirmed to be so twice by your text confirmation system. She continue to argue that my appointment was for 10AM. I show up at the office and they ask me to come back to fill out paperwork (that I had already done the night before when their system sent it to me) and I had told her that they must have messed up because my appointment was at 10:20AM and proceeded to try to show her the texts. She did not want to see the texts and argued with me that my appointment was for 10AM and they had tried to call me the day before to confirm and let me know that they had to bump me up in the schedule. They had only called me ONCE and never said anything about changing my appointment time in the voicemail. I never once received an apology and was only met with snarky attitude so I told them to cancel my appointment and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect to a FIRST TIME patient was very distasteful and I would never recommend them based on that alone. My advice to them is to get organized and improve upon their bedside manner with patients. Two stars only because I never saw a dentist and cannot speak to their expertise or skill.

I have been debating writing this review for quite a while, since Brielle Dentistry Co seems to…read moreonly get rave reviews here and people appear to have had good experiences with them, but please consider my personal experience with them a cautionary tale. I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. Needless to say, I would never to back to them.
