    Never have I received such terrible service from a medical facility. At my first visit, I'm told I…read morehave all these issues with my teeth and jaw. I get completely overwhelmed and worried about my oral health, to which I'm told none of this can be fixed without extensive jaw surgery which Dr. Ally doesn't even recommend I do. What was the point of bombarding me with all of this terrible information?? Every time I've tried to ask questions about my jaw and treatment, she interrupts me and talks down to me. After that visit, they said I would continue to experience a lot of pain even after purchasing my day and night guards they made for me for $3000. They prescribed no treatment or medication for said pain I still have almost a year later from that initial May visit. I've since moved and had to give a new doctor my records. I even set up an appointment with another TMJ specialist. I requested 2 sets of dental records to Mary, who said that was fine and that she'd put that order in for me. After a week of no update from the office, I request again and again. They said no one in the office was available to make the imaging, then the machine was broken, and then they started ignoring my calls. Then, when I finally go in to pick up my 2 copies, Jeanine said I never requested 2 copies, only one. Despite Mary and Dr. Ally also being in the office, they did not relay that I had requested 2 copies MULTIPLE times. They say how "we never give patients 2 copies". After some back and forth, they start whispering, and then I'm being charged this fee of $35 for a second set of records. Why am I being charged for my own records? They lie and say I never asked for them, make me call in a bunch of times, hang up when I call them. The fact that you can't even leave a voicemail is incredibly telling. Not only is Mary incompetent at relaying information, but Jeanine is a liar and incredibly rude. It is clear that after I pay all my money, I'm no longer treated like a valued patient or even a valued customer, even though I still have all the issues I started with, except more financial burden from this dental office. P.S. This place has a completely separate name, website, and phone number, despite it being the same business: "Advanced Sleep & TMJ Center of New Jersey".

My daughter's pain increased and after informing the dentist they did nothing .. We were referred to another dentist in North Jersey that informed us the only way to know would be with a MRI .. The guards Shore made were totally incorrect .. They refused to refund us and have avoided our phone calls and emails .. We have opened a case with board of Dentistry .. Please do not send your loved ones

The name is totally slipping me right now, but when I came in for my last bi-yearly check up my hygienist was such a sweetheart! It's obvious that she has a passion for taking care of teeth because she's been in the business for almost 40 years and has worked at this particular practice for around 10 years. Not only did she do a great job helping clean my teeth, but she also gave me some really great tips on tooth care practices to put into place every day. I've never really felt that compelled to make the switch from a regular to an electric tooth brush, but now I think I'm convinced. Overall, this is an office that has really got their stuff together. They have a really organized appointment reminder system and send frequent text/email/call reminders during the days leading up to your appointment. They also never let you leave empty handed and always give out a really cute goodie bag with a bunch of tooth care stuff in it. My old dentist used to just hand out a toothbrush, so it's nice to get a whole assortment of things. As long as they keep taking my insurance, I'll keep on going to this office for my check-ups. No reason not to!

The dentist I saw--never the same one twice--told me I needed 3 (!) extractions and would have to have a "flapper"--but don't worry, I'd get used to it. Dr. Silver examined my mouth, looked at the x-rays, and said I needed two root canals and no extractions. Not great, but I questioned why the other clinic hadn't detected anything six months ago when I got x-rayed. He said I was right to question what the other dentist had said; keeping my teeth is a priority of mine. In the words of Frank Zappa, "Always get a second opinion."
