She made sure Baby K enjoyed the whole thing. Even during cleaning when I could tell she was a little uncomfortable, she didn't fuss. The whole office is set up for kids, from the waiting area to the special dental chair. There's a TV overhead, cool sunglasses to avoid the bright lights, etc. Even a plastic dental mirror to take home and use on your stuffed animals. We have to go back for a little work, and K is excited. All of the staff are great, and it was a very good experience. Okay, except for my finding it- there are dozens of dentists in Clintonville, all named something like "Clintonville Dentistry," so check carefully. They pressured us into agreeing to treatments on healthy teeth that had received no X-rays. Their approach as stated by their surgery coordinator is 'all or nothing'--either agree to their full surgical treatment plan that can include additional work not identified prior to surgery, or else they won't see you. You basically sign your rights away before surgery and your kid can come out with all capped teeth without you agreeing.

My son had to have his adenoids removed just shy of turning 2 and between the battery of tests and probing in his mouth, he was not inclined to allow anyone to look in without a battle...brushing was done daily, but not always the easiest of tasks. At the first visit, Dr. Soult met with us in an office and just went over concerns I had, as well as, did a very quick & painless review of my sons teeth. It started pretty badly, but with Dr. Soult's patience and calm demeanor, he was able to check inside my sons mouth no problems thereafter. A similar scenario at his second 3 yr appt, but with his 4 yr bi-annual, the flossing and polishing took place with my son smiling, laughing, and even saying thank you! It was just wonderful to watch and made this mama bear very proud. My son now asks when he will be going to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned. Dr. Soult is amazing with children and has them participate with the whole examination and has made the cleaning very interactive, educational, and fun for those little ones. The hygienist are also very pleasant and do a fantastic job. I am elated that my insurance participates with this practice and will continue to take my son for as long as the practice is open. So glad I was able to start my son off on the right-foot and with this amazing dentist. I enthusiastically endorse this dentist and his practice. I hope the enthusiasm my son carries now about going to dentist continues for the rest of his life!

It was discovered that I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal, which I feared would be the case. So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.
