I had a very positive experience at Supreme Dental and would recommend them to anyone seeking a…read morehigh quality, lower-cost alternative to major dental work in the US. I had waged a losing battle with periodontal disease for 30 years. When it came time for me to consider a full mouth restoration, I did a great deal of on-line research, comparing the credentials, reviews and stats of several clinics. I reasoned that the sweet spot would be somewhere that did a high volume of implant procedures (practice makes perfect) for which they received overwhelmingly positive reviews and boasted a long list of solid credentials. I eventually settled on Supreme Dental. Working with their amazing customer coordinator, Ernesto Carranza, I was quoted a total package price of $24,950 which covered all extractions, placement of upper and lower all-on-6 posts, temporary dentures while these posts healed and integrated with my bones, and the final, permanent titanium/zirconia implants. The price also included full IV sedation for the initial extraction and post-implant surgery, and all accommodations at the clinic's in-house hotel. I scheduled the first of my two required visits in late February, 2026, and planned the second visit for the end of May. I flew Into Phoenix and utilized the clinic's free airport shuttle (shout out to my driver, Fransisco) for the ~2 hour ride down to Los Algodones and back. (They also offer shuttle service to and from San Diego.) During my initial exam, the CT scan revealed severe bone loss in my upper jaw. Dr. Luis explained that, for my implants to be successful, they would need to implant two special types of posts - zygomatic and pterygoid - that would anchor to my cheekbones and skull, respectively, instead of my upper jaw. Fortunately, Dr. Luis had the training and experience required to place these types of implants; unfortunately, their use would increase the cost of my procedure by $11,000 to a total of $35,950. I agreed to this higher price. (I did take advantage of a 5% discount offered for all-cash payment, bringing my price down to just under $34,000.) This is a lot of money, but considering the cost of the same work done locally would be around $100,000, I think It's a pretty solid deal. The skill and care demonstrated by the entire Supreme Dental medical team, from Dr. Luis down to the dental technicians, was superb. The clinic's tools and techniques are as modern and safe as any found in the US, and the customer service staff is excellent. When my second trip was disrupted by a series of mechanical failures on American Airlines, forcing me to delay my trip by two weeks, the clinic staff took these challenges in stride. Now, there are a few less-than-ideal facets of my experience to be aware of. First, Los Algodones (aka "Molar City") is a small town focused on dental tourism. It is very much a BORDER town, and not a RESORT town. The ~10 blocks that make up the business district consist of dental clinics, pharmacies, a few opticians (new eyeglasses can also be found at very low cost), a few restaurants and a grocery store. Bring something to do or entertain yourself with if your procedure requires overnight stays, because you will find very little to do there. (Nearby Yuma, Arizona requires taxi rides or a rental car to access and doesn't offer that much more in terms of entertainment options.) Second, the clinic's in-house hotel is clean and convenient, but also very basic. Picture Motel 6, not the Marriott. So, if you can endure a few days of spartan living and self-entertainment, Supreme Dental offers an excellent nearby option for US dental patients seeking top-notch care at roughly 30% of US prices.

I'm really disappointed with my experience at Supreme Dental…read more Before booking my trip to Yuma, I called to ask about pricing and spoke with Ernesto Carranza. Based on that conversation, I felt confident enough to move forward and travel for treatment. When I arrived at the clinic, I was initially treated very well--everyone was welcoming and friendly, which I appreciated. However, when it came time to go over pricing, I was quoted a completely different amount than what I had been told over the phone. When Noemi checked with Ernesto about the discrepancy, her attitude toward me became rude and dismissive. I even asked to speak with someone else because of how uncomfortable the interaction became. Despite this, I still went ahead and paid for the service. Later, I called Ernesto directly to clarify the situation, hoping for a professional and respectful conversation. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He went on a rant, did not allow me to explain my concerns, and made an inappropriate comment saying, "just because we are Mexican." I immediately told him that I am married to a Mexican and that this was not relevant to my concern. Instead of listening, he continued speaking rudely to me for about 15 minutes. Overall, this was a very poor customer service experience, specifically from Ernesto and Noemi. It's incredibly frustrating to travel from another country expecting quality care--especially based on positive reviews--only to be treated this way. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

The cost in the US is $6K for one which is cost prohibitive for me vs. $2,000 in MX ((including extraction, post, bone graft and crown) plus travel, hotel and food as the crown takes staying overnight 2 nights. The negative reviews regarding the quality of the work scares me but so far all is fine. I haven't gotten the crown on the implant as yet as you have to wait 4 months inbetween but so far, the post is fine. However, during healing, the suture came loose and the only solution was to return there, which is not really doable or convenient at all. Additionally, you get moved from one room/person to another for different things to be done. They don't tell you much about what is going on, and they are speaking Spanish among themselves while the work is being done, or while you are in the chair waiting. All you can do is hope they know what they are doing. HERE'S the PROBLEM. You have to pay upfront and they do not provide an itemization of the charge. I suggest you demand a receipt at the time you pay, especially if you use any cash! I paid with a little cash and the rest on a card (which they charge a 4% fee on). They said I paid $100 in cash when I actually paid $200. Joe at the desk called me a couple days after my appt and said I owed $50 more due to a miscalculation on his part. I reviewed it with him pointing out that I didn't think that was correct. He said he'd look at it and call me back. He never called me back and I made several attempts to reach him. Turns out he overcharged me $50. One time when I called him to follow up, he said he had other patients to take care of. His attitude and lack of follow through is rude and non-professional and a total turn-off for this business. I finally got someone else on the phone and told them my problem and was referred to Diana, patient coordinator. I emailed her several times but her responses were not helpful. I asked to speak to someone else or the doctor but that did not happen, and the issue has still not been resolved. I gave a 3-star rating only. While their work appears to be good and that is the most important, they sorely lack in customer service and that destroys confidence.

If he did ALL the implant work - start to finish - it would be a very good practice. Unfortunately, once he places the implant, another dentist takes over. Other than Dr. Jimenez, all of the other dentists I encountered in that practice appeared to be young and highly inexperienced -- and it is reflected in their poor workmanship. My crown fell out 3 times over a 2-month timeframe -- so I had to travel to Mexico 3 times to get repairs on the same tooth! With all that travel, what initially seemed like a cost-saving decision ultimately became expensive and very time-consuming.

I ended up needing a tooth extraction & bone graft asap, and was scheduled for surgery the very next day! The whole extraction process went by smoothly and was relatively painless. The doctor and her assistant talked me through the whole process, seeing as to how nervous I was, and showed nothing but professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being. I'm now recovering and even then have only experienced minimal discomfort or pain. I highly recommend anyone who needs any dental work done to come give this place a visit. After extensive study of credentials, online reviews, personal recommendations; we finally did it! My husband, an engineer- and quite methodic about picking a anything medical- decided this office was the winner. We made an appt., only to have to move it up due to an emergency cracked tooth. They fit us in the next day, and we had nothing but A1 experiences since. The office staff was welcoming and thorough. The Dental staff, technicians, and Dr. A. Camacho (Founding Dr.'s daughter, now a dentist also) treated my husband. She was quite thourough in explaining ALL options. And pricing was broken out for each procedure. They did not push the most expensive, but did stress saving the tooth is always the best. We chose to do an implant; as my husband has had alot of crowns gone bad recently (from Dentists in the states) So we chose the implant route. They focused on the pain levels, the lack of infection, and the follow up so this is a healthy and successful implant. While i was waiting in the lobby during the procedures, I had opportunity to meet other longtime patients of Dr. C. 2 Different couples have been coming here for 20-30 years for their work. They currently only accept cash or check. The office is literally across the street from the border. So once you park on the US side, it is 5 minutes to walk to the office. You simply cross the street to leave through the border control. Clean, Safe, Enjoyable, close to many pharmacy options. They speak English quite well, so no worries about not understanding what is going on. And they print out all steps in your dental plan with pricing. HIGHLY recommend.
