Based on that conversation, I felt confident enough to move forward and travel for treatment. When I arrived at the clinic, I was initially treated very well--everyone was welcoming and friendly, which I appreciated. However, when it came time to go over pricing, I was quoted a completely different amount than what I had been told over the phone. When Noemi checked with Ernesto about the discrepancy, her attitude toward me became rude and dismissive. I even asked to speak with someone else because of how uncomfortable the interaction became. Despite this, I still went ahead and paid for the service. Later, I called Ernesto directly to clarify the situation, hoping for a professional and respectful conversation. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He went on a rant, did not allow me to explain my concerns, and made an inappropriate comment saying, "just because we are Mexican." I immediately told him that I am married to a Mexican and that this was not relevant to my concern. Instead of listening, he continued speaking rudely to me for about 15 minutes. Overall, this was a very poor customer service experience, specifically from Ernesto and Noemi. It's incredibly frustrating to travel from another country expecting quality care--especially based on positive reviews--only to be treated this way. I had one tooth in the front that was sensitive and the crown came off 3 times in the states. 3 dentists in the states glued the crown on but it would come off again a short time later. She did a little driving and attached another crown. 1 year later and my crown is still intact. 1 visit to Mexico vs 6 visits in the states to fix a crown. You be the judge. I like one visit.

Circle Dental doesn't have modern technology, they take a mold and send it to the lab and the lab tech does shit work! The two day job took 4 days because the teeth didn't fit and were horrible! The lab tech is a vital part of the office and he lacks training and ability. It took three times and the dentist still had to modify them pretty significantly to get my bite correct. I asked for a discount since I incurred additional expenses staying two extra days (hotel and food), but supposedly the owner is the only one who can issue refund and he was absent, so they put a note in my file for a discount on future work...... We shall see... I don't think I would go back since they don't invest is current technology.

We chose to do an implant; as my husband has had alot of crowns gone bad recently (from Dentists in the states) So we chose the implant route. They focused on the pain levels, the lack of infection, and the follow up so this is a healthy and successful implant. While i was waiting in the lobby during the procedures, I had opportunity to meet other longtime patients of Dr. C. 2 Different couples have been coming here for 20-30 years for their work. They currently only accept cash or check. The office is literally across the street from the border. So once you park on the US side, it is 5 minutes to walk to the office. You simply cross the street to leave through the border control. Clean, Safe, Enjoyable, close to many pharmacy options. They speak English quite well, so no worries about not understanding what is going on. And they print out all steps in your dental plan with pricing. HIGHLY recommend.

I had seen a program about 3 months prior that talked about the high quality of dental care available at the "Molar City" in Mexico (aka Los Algodones). Remembering that show, I did a bit of research online and decided that Dental Solutions would be our clinic of choice, and I'm so glad I made that decision. First off, getting there from the Phoenix area was relatively easy. Just like taking a trip to Yuma. The border crossing was a very smooth and easy process and once on the other side we called a number gives to us by the clinic and were picked up in their shuttle car by a friendly and personable driver. In reality, the clinic is walking distance from the border (about 4 blocks) and we actually walked back, but the shuttle was a nice option as well. The clinic itself is a newer 3-story building, well constructed and designed. It had the same quality of design and feel as our regular dentists' office in upscale Scottsdale. The front desk staff was friendly and the check-in process was rather simple and straight-forward. In minutes after check in my wife and I both headed back separately and were examined and evaluated by the staff. Everyone spoke clear English and they confirmed what work needed to be done. The cost for all the work that was suggested was approximately 25% of what we we were quoted by our US dentist, and even with adding Zoom whitening it was still drastically less than what we would pay in the states. A big positive was that they freely accepted IS credit cards including Amex, which showed me that they have confidence in the work they provide given the patients power to dispute with cards. Once we had our procedures it went very smooth.. The dentist and dental techs involved were friendly and communicative and did a great job. All the equipment was new and state-of-the-art--again feeling no different than our Scottsdale dental experiences. A month and a half after doing work and everything feels great. Our teeth are healthy and white. We will be going back in September and bringing our teenage kids as well. As an added bonus, the city of Algodones is quaint and charming and we enjoyed a nice lunch and some shopping afterwards. If you need major dental work don't pay insane prices just because you live in the US--I'd strongly suggest you give Dental Solutions a call. You'll get great care and service at a price that is affordable without sacrificing quality of care.
