The first dentist said she didn't do them and tried to sell me a crown instead. There is no tooth decay and no reason to remove almost all the tooth for a crown. She then said another dentist there does the onlays, so made an appt for 2 weeks later and pre-paid $295 for the onlay. Today, I arrived for the appt, and the new dentist said no one there does onlays and do I want a crown instead. I told them they wasted my time and to refund my money. Dental offices shouldn't be amateur hour playgrounds. Brident's services are set up for CHIP and medicaid patients who need basic care only.

Check-in was smooth and they accepted Delta Dental insurance. Everyone was very welcoming from the receptionist, to the dental assistant (Lovely), to the dentists (Dr. Esther and Dr. John), and to the hygienist (Tabitha) who cleaned my teeth. I felt very at home and loved that played Christian music and even had on Christian tv shows on in the rooms. They have very up to date equipment and technology, including mobile x-rays of your teeth that they can do on you in your room instead of having to go to the x-ray room (however they did both for me this visit). Dr. Esther addressed all issues I had with my teeth and reassured me of everything. This was overall a great experience and I look forward to being a long-term patient! Office/dental assistant very nice and efficient when helping me with paperwork and scheduling procedure. They worked me in in on the schedule fir later that day. Chair side assistant was a bit tough when taking X-rays, suctioning and pushing down gum around the tooth. Her instruments put too much pressure on my lips and cheeks. Dr. Martinez wanted to do the root canal and crown all in one appointment. I was skeptical but after he reassured me everything would be fine. I conceded. He must have been pretty confident that the root canal would be successful because he did the crown prep first which was very uncomfortable. I kept asking for more anesthesia. After the crown prep he initiated the cleaning out of the root canals. Also very uncomfortable. After removing the amalgam filling he discovered that the tooth had a fracture. I winded up having to have the tooth extracted! It took three to four days fir my mouth to feel back to normal!

The office staff was professional, courteous and efficient (I left my water bottle and sunglasses at my first appointment and they had them waiting for me on my second appointment!). I experienced very little waiting time, which I really appreciate. Even in the exam room, Dr. Diaz came in right away and got down to business. Dr. Gabriella Diaz....what a gem....what an expert in her field! Very knowledgeable and proficient in explaining periodontal terms in layman's terms where I could understand. She explained, demonstrated and clarified so that I understood risk and options. I went with the option of bone graft. Sounds scary, but I explained NO pain during the procedure. Even the blood-draw was the least painful that I've experienced! Pre and post operative instructions were explained and provided I. Writing. This made it so much easier for me to prepare and recover with no complications! I loved the care package that I went home with . Gauze, hot/cold pack and soft-food goodies were all provided I.
