Great Dentists and Staff. Very Courteous and Thorough. Perfect location for me since I live in the South Side of San Antonio.

Horrible staff, lazy and unprofessional. Basically forced me to choose a morning time only to find…read moreout it was set at the time they open and will not allow patients in until open! I arrived 35mins early just like all doctor appointments ask, to specifically do the paper work before hand. They could have communicated their opening time would affect the visit! When they finally opened both staff members only being in the building 30mins acted as if they were tired and over their day. Sort with responses and rude. Started grabbing and looking through all my insurance cards place next to me on the counter instead of asking for what she needed. When I mentioned she can simply ask for what she needs instead of grabbing my belongings, she stated well since I wasn't primarily on my insurance I would have to fill it all out again on paper even though i submitted it online. Never choosing this location again for their lack of patient care, patient time and convenience. As medical professionals we are trained in a higher quality of care and communication. Traits obviously lost in the dental aspect of the field.

I recently went to this new dental clinic, located in Balcones heights, and it was beautiful, I was…read moreable to snap pics before other patients appeared because my son had an early appointment. They were very accommodating to the fact that we had to be in so early. The ladies at the front desk were also very patient. If you get a chance to visit this clinic you must! You won't be disappointed. There are televisions above the dental chairs that my son thought were super cool, it also helped keep his mind off the dental procedure etc. excellent idea for kiddos.

Warning!!!! Please be sure that they give u a work layout of what insurance covers and your portion…read morebefore having any work done. I had a horrible experience due to lack of miscommunication and staff dropping the ball.. I was mislead to believe that what I was having done was fully covered.they did half the work (I had 7 teeth removed for dentures)and when most important part came up to get fitted for permanent they mentioned oh by the way did u know u have to pay $1350 before we can set next appointment to go further...ur insurance covered $0.. I was mortified, and in tears. No apologies, a specially from dr. Martinez who said well just use poligrip for now and call us when ur ready (meaning when u have the money). They left me with a messed up temporary, 20lbs lighter and struggling even after knowing what previous bad experience I had with a dentist. Yes they were nice at first and treated me like they were there to help me but ended up screwing me over.. I found a new dentist who processed same things needed and to my surprise everything was covered 100% and was able to get my permanent top denture and bottom partial at no cost. I don't know what the difference was or what but be careful with this place.. this is just a warning of my experience.. I would never recommend anyone here again

Had a terrible toothache. Youn dentist Martinez gave me two options after exam and X-rays…read more Extraction or root canal. I chose root canal. Office/dental assistant very nice and efficient when helping me with paperwork and scheduling procedure. They worked me in in on the schedule fir later that day. Chair side assistant was a bit tough when taking X-rays, suctioning and pushing down gum around the tooth. Her instruments put too much pressure on my lips and cheeks. Dr. Martinez wanted to do the root canal and crown all in one appointment. I was skeptical but after he reassured me everything would be fine. I conceded. He must have been pretty confident that the root canal would be successful because he did the crown prep first which was very uncomfortable. I kept asking for more anesthesia. After the crown prep he initiated the cleaning out of the root canals. Also very uncomfortable. After removing the amalgam filling he discovered that the tooth had a fracture. I winded up having to have the tooth extracted! It took three to four days fir my mouth to feel back to normal!
