When then did their fancy scan a month ago, at checkout the young lady who insisted I pay $3k up front told me nex time there would be no charge. Today when I checked out, there was a different person who said I owed $250. I questioned that stating I was told previously no charge. In a nasty attitude she told me I had signed a treatment statement for stated amount. In other words they LIED previously. There's a new practice not too far away. Time to look for a new dentist. Unfortunately I like my dentist, hygienist and the other people, but the bitch at checkout and their high prices leave no other option.

My daughter was scheduled for a routine cleaning appointment, and I provided recent panoramic X-rays from another dental office. The office refused to accept them and insisted on taking additional X-rays for a $100 out-of-pocket charge. From my understanding, panoramic X-rays provide similar diagnostic information to the full-mouth series they were requesting, and another experienced dental professional was on the phone attempting to explain this to the staff. We were told by Savannah, the office manager, that this was "the provider's policy," specifically associated with Dr. Isimor Anizor. Despite efforts to professionally address the issue, Savannah was dismissive, rude, and ultimately told us to "feel free to contact the board." The issue was never about refusing necessary treatment or avoiding payment. The concern was that valid, recent X-rays had already been provided, yet the office continued pressuring us to purchase additional imaging that insurance would not cover at this time. As a result, my daughter was turned away and left without care that day. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and patient-centered care was extremely concerning. I left feeling that financial gain was prioritized over patient care and communication. Due to the seriousness of my concerns regarding the office's handling of patient care and billing practices, I am filing a complaint with the state dental board. In fairness, by the time I was called back my attitude wasn't pleasant. This office has to many distractions, Music and televisions in both the waiting and the treatment rooms. My old Dentist had the TV in the treatment room but their hygentist would ask if you would like to see something different or did the television bother me. My TV was tuned to a conservative TV program focusing on the news, I could have done without the TV but apparently she wanted her news. My technician attempted small talk but I wasn't in the mood for answering personal questions that had already been asked and answered on my registration. I.e. where I lived and worked or if I was retired and my reason for the visit. After taking 18 Xrays (seriously) the tech then asked me if I wanted my teeth cleaned? DUH! that was my reason for the appointment. Then, the doctor comes in and speaks never extending his hand. Something my other dentist always did and as a older male (64) something I am accustomed to doing when meeting another male in a business setting. Overall everyone was nice but as a southern born male who considers myself a gentleman I didn't feel appreciated. I left my old dentist because of a billing issue that was made by a staff member but will likely go back now.

However, today I get another bill for 39 for a supposed no-show fee, in which my husband physically walked in to the office to cancel the appointment. We made a detour just to stop and cancel it so we knew it would be cancelled, or so we thought. I don't know where or how things can get so messed up with the billing when you go and talk to someone in person... this is ridiculous. I would highly, highly not recommend coming to this place unless you don't mind driving 30 minutes out of your way to talk to people who don't seem to listen.
