The new owner doesn't understand simple instructions and laundered the shirts when it was specifically asked to dry clean them. Worst part is that I was charged for dry cleaning. About 5 minutes after I dropped it off the owner Mark called me and told me that moths had gotten into the bag and created holes. He didn't want me to waste the money on a damaged tux. I told him to go ahead and he did. When I picked it up today, he was right, there was moth damage, but not so bad that I couldn't wear it. No one at the wedding noticed and the cleaning job was perfect. Just a class act and I highly recommend to locals.

We stopped in that day (it was a Tuesday) and everything was ready by Saturday! Such a stress-free experience, especially compared to tailors I've visited before. It's a small store so we waited outside until the patrons in front of us left to ensure social distancing. All employees were wearing masks. I have used James' Cleaners for years, most often shirts and the occasional dress or suit. I've…read morealso used them to press items for my home, king sized duvets and shams. I found them to be efficient and reasonably priced. I recently brought 8 silk drapery panels for cleaning. When I hung the panels I noticed two of the panels were shredded, in sections approximately 3 inches wide by 5-8 inches long, in the middle of the panels. I returned to James' cleaner 4 times, asking them to replace/pay to replace the two panels. I was told to return to speak with the owner. Fair enough but 3 of my 4 visits, he wasn't there. Multiple suggestions/comments were made, including "this silk is very cheap", "I thought you made these yourself", and the only offer made, "we can fold this back and you will only lose a few inches". On my last visit, I was told the owner said he packaged the drapes himself and there was no damage when they left the cleaner. I'm so disappointed in their customer service and shocked by the quality of the work.

First , there are multiple occasions where I ended up almost getting someone's clothes. This troubling because the clothing is sorted by phone number, so I have no clue how this could happen. Not sure if they will ever get their clothes back. Next, I dropped off 3 polos and the receipt said 22 dollars. When we went to pick it up we asked how much a polo costs to be dry cleaned and they would not give us an answer. Does it make sense that 3 shirts would be 7.33 each? Not really. They just came up with whatever price they wanted. I think it's extremely unprofessional and the lack of organization is troubling.

After I paid, had I not asked to look at it, I wouldn't have seen it until ready to wear it. They completely ruined the shirt, more staining than originally! Woman said because she didn't see shirt coming in she couldn't comment on the "new" stains. Several times I told her it wasn't that bad, and I would not have even brought it in like that, I would have tossed the shirt out. After a few times back and forth ~she offered to clean it again, I said "for what you messed it up the first time". She never offered to refund or take responsibility for the damage. Then a man~ probably the owner came from behind the hanging clothes, yelling "Nothing is guaranteed and dry cleaning could make it worse" I said "If you would have told me that I would have said forget it". She was yelling at him in another language to be quiet, he kept going. He led me to think at the time of drop off he could dry clean it, never mentioned "nothing is guaranteed" because we discussed the small stain. Now it was just principle for me, they would not even refund me the cost of the dry cleaning. Very poor customer service, they handled it all wrong. She knew they were at fault. I will never go there again.
