I thought I'd have to undergo six months of bone grafts before anything could be done with my bottom arch. One quick scan and Dr. Ng told me I indeed had enough bone to proceed immediately. After 3 courses of antibiotics , ( 3 months ) , he finally did a scraping to remove infection and install abutments. I was nervous by now and questioned if he was doing the right thing. I wanted to get a second opinion and an evaluation to ease my concerns. I was advised to go to UCLA dentistry or USC. They wanted $350 for a quick evaluation!! I was making the appointment when I saw an add on tv GPS free consultation!! I hung the phone up and immediately call GPS . I explained the situation to them and gave me an appointment. One of the most friendly welcoming staff !! They immediately took one of those expensive all around ex-rays ( usually $250 ). I asked if I was going to be charged!! They said no !! Long story short , Dr. Rusthoven , I hope I spelled it right , came in and discussed the ex-rays with me and put my mind at ease ! ‍ So handsome so nice and so friendly !! Said everything looked fine and not to worry !! What a relief!! Karen , his assistant was lovely as well. They did not charge me a dime!! I was so grateful !! Thank you Dr Rusthoven and Karen !!

After putting off my dental care during COVID, I finally found a new dentist--and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Bacquet is incredibly light-handed, making every procedure feel like a breeze. If you've ever had braces, you know how painful a heavy-handed approach can be, but that's not the case here. Even during cleanings and additional work, I felt completely at ease. He's also very communicative, explaining each step along the way, which really helps with comfort. The office is clean, the front staff is friendly, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. Dr. Dan is the man :-). He totally took care of me in a crisis. I had a front lower veneer pop off…read moreand he was able to squeeze me in on a Friday when everybody else was leaving town or busy. The staff at smile boutique are super friendly, and the interior is nice and spacious. But the best two things were the price and the quality. I don't know what their other services cost, but I do know what it costs normally to reattach a veneer. In Guadalajara, where I've had it done before a couple of times, I think it ran me in the neighborhood of $150 each trip. But I had to fly there, I had to pay for a hotel room, food, and transportation and everything else. In the past, I have been able to get my original Dentist, to reattach these pop offs for free, but he had told me the last time I went to see him that the future price would be 1250 to reattach one veneer. Dr. Dan did everything in 19 minutes for 200 bucks. You can't beat it!! Thank you, Dr. Dan and all the staff of Smile Boutique who were so pleasant and helpful!!!

When I showed her the insurance card, she leaned over her computer and said, "Then you do it" in a very nasty tone. She gave me a receipt for the $404 payment with no detail or coding as to what the charges were for (a convenience store has more detail on a receipt). So, of course this will not work for reimbursement. Never experienced such a stressful and frustrating dental visit. Not sure why the bookkeeper was so rude and unhelpful. Will also never set foot in this office or any other Smile Boutiques in the future!
