I went a year ago for a consultation and was quoted $40,612 of which approximately half would be covered by my insurance. I was coerced by him to start the work that day as I wanted it finished for my son's wedding, 8 months later. I paid $5,300 that day on my credit card for one quadrant, about only two hours of work. I left very upset and decided to go to my former dentist who had moved to Oxnard...but that visit was worth the drive! I showed her his estimates and she said they were exorbitant and much of the work unnecessary. She recommended that I report Dr. Soleiman to the Dental Board and also had me meet with her periodontist. He said I only needed a small portion of gum surgery in the front and completed the work at a fraction of the cost. In the meantime, I called Northridge Dental and told them I was no longer a patient but wanted to discuss my situation with their office manager. She never returned my call and I tried two more times. I was hoping to get back some of the $5,300, I considered reporting him to the Dental Board or small claims but decided I didn't need the stress. Believe it or not, nine months later I received a bill from them for $530 for his services...needless to say I won't be paying it!!

When we made the appointment we provided necessary info. Once we showed up they took my husband in and started with X-rays and "visual dental exam" Once that was done, he was waiting for the hygienist to call him to see the dentist for the insurance allowed basic (free) cleaning for the year. But, while waiting, one of the front desk ladies, rechecked eligibility only to tell us that we would be charged for the cleaning and X-rays. She was saying that the cleaning is not a basic and that's why the dentist will do it- and we went back and forth about how we just need basic cleaning We explained about insurance and everything but could not get anywhere with these people. There's ZERO quality of care here. He never even saw the actual dentist. Writing this now because of their wrong doing with billing- and we do believe they charged insurance for things they didn't do, because no other dentist would take my husband unless we paid everything out of pocket because some of the benefits were exhausted.... And trust me dental insurance as whole is a scam, I know that. However insurance does covers some basic cleaning..... other things are only covered a certain percentage or something can be covered 1 time every 2 yrs, extractions are covered x amount whatever..... point is don't come here. We did report to the proper channels but didn't go anywhere.... not enough people follow through with reporting clinics therefore no department ever takes action.... We left without paying anything.

Apologies if I inadvertently left anyone out. The great thing about Northridge Advanced Dentistry is they are open on Saturday and took me for an Emergency basically same day, right away. What happened to me was on Friday Night celebrating my birthday I was eating excellent birthday cake and somehow my dental bridge of a few years with 4 implants I think, suddenly got loose but did not come out by itself- almost like a Yo-Yo for lack of a better term. I was afraid of it accidently finally coming out on its own when I was sleeping and swallowing it. I had called my regular dentist who operates independently elsewhere and he told me not to pull the bridge out on my own (he hadn't seen the problem) and he was in NYC for a week and couldn't see me till he got back to LA! I spent all evening trying to find a 24 hour dentist in Los Angeles- there are none I could find despite numerous listings on Google saying 24 Hour dentist, but I was fortunate enough to speak to Marlyn at Advanced Dentistry in Nothridge and she booked me that Saturday morning. Dr. Nia was able to glue the bridge back on perfectly, answered all my questions and reassured me everything would be fine which it was. I intend to have future cosmetic work done at Northridge Advanced Dentistry. A perfect 10 and to me nothing is a perect 10!

I felt the money drive from the beginning and the press for repeated consultations on my root canal. The price quote I received the first time, change to an even more expensive charge after I had a dispute with the front desk. Nice smiles, pretty faces, but are not trained how assist with efficient solutions and thorough clarity of communication . Addressing concerns of makes them defensive and they either say the wrong thing or don't say anything at all. Lack of customer service skills. When I requested to speak to the owner I was directed to Mario. Seemed nice on the first call explaining my dilemma and he compensated a cleaning I was turned away (to get at first when they only told me when I got their my insurance doesn't cover it after I spoke to them the day before to confirm appointment) for the inconvenience. He acted concerned and said he will make sure any other service ( my root canal) will be discount and make sure I'm happy because "Money didn't matter to their practice". Now that's when I should have ran to the reviews to see if they follow what they say, and believed my gut... cause he was overly nice. Red flag That was then when I erased my attempt to yelp thinking it would be what he said. The jokes on me. Following week I then got my cleaning by the Hygienst that I like they set up another root canal counseling, which even he was confused why I was there. The story wasn't gonna change on what I needed and he really didn't do anything but agree with what was said in my file. I then came back to the front and the quote I got was more than the first one. The same girl I have a dispute with had a dismissive attitude, tried to smile thru it but neglected the point of being there. I asked is this discounted she said yes ( which it wasn't as I have my other statement from prior) and then I left out having to go back in to mention the appointment I needed to make for next appointment. I asked why didn't you finalize appointment and she said cause " you didn't seem you wanted it". That was not true as when she asked me did I want to set it up I said yes we just got into the discussion about the price and Mario. Instead of her referencing back to it to confirm she was dismissive like mentioned earlier. When I left I called Mario to share the in counter that he said he would make sure he would talk to front desk about previously as a follow up and he didn't answer. In that call I left a voice note explain in case he was out of town and he didn't return my message. With in the last 3 months I have phoned and left messages 8 different times and he refuses to address where we left off to correct what he said he prides his will to make sure customers are happy cause he would want that to happen to him and his family. My son and I were inconvenienced and had to make different trips back just for her mishap several times as I minimize the encounters because clearly the other clients have bigger problems than I do. I'm just glad I didn't give them my money. They got what they needed from insurance. Guess I was pushed out of there practice like other customers on here I see where but silently. The way Mario has handled me makes sense why the mask on their office seems nice at first unlit it's not and then they are passive aggressive. I hope this awareness brings clients to know their worth and money should be more valued than this.

From the beginning, there were problems. The staff struggled to place the IV before the procedure, and afterward I experienced severe, ongoing pain that made it impossible to sleep. I repeatedly called the office because I felt something was wrong, but I was told that the pain was normal and that I should continue flushing the area. After several weeks, I insisted on being seen. I wasn't evaluated by my doctor and was instead seen briefly by an assistant, who discovered that the area was infected and needed to be drained again. The pain eventually subsided, but the entire experience was excruciating. What concerned me most was that my repeated reports of severe pain were dismissed, and the office never followed up with me afterward. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice.

Yesterday I went in and was so pleased with the service they provided me. I had expected to need to get impressions, new retainers the whole deal. I was expecting to have to spend hundreds of dollars. Rather, they were able to fix my retainers. Make some tweaks and good as new. They were so kind and the whole staff was very pleasant. When I went to pay, they didn't change me anything. Even though I told them they weren't the ones who originally made my retainers nor have I ever spent a penny with them. They insisted and said it was no problem. I love a Dr. who puts service over profit and because of that I will now refer everyone to Snow Orthodontics.

My treatment took a little bit longer than expected, and I felt like I was being rushed to complete it. Later on, I experienced major tooth pain from the side where my upper and bottom teeth touch. Fast forward to now, I went to a new orthodontist office and they showed me a digital replica of my teeth. They confirmed that I was only able to bite down on one side and my new bite was causing tooth pain. I also still had an over jet and alignment issues. so on top of the thousands I paid at Snow in 2020, now I have to pay $6000 at another place just to get my teeth away that I wanted. The staff and the doctor are very unprofessional and rude. Not only did I have to wait ~40mins for them to verify my insurance that they should have done so before my appt, I was also treated with the worst attitude possible. I told them I didn't want fluoride for my cleaning, and the assistant bluntly asked "why?" I was stunned and didn't know what to say, because I didn't know I'd need an explanation for a preference of mine... Then the doctor proceeded to do the cleaning, she was very rough and caused a lot of pain. I know my teeth have build up and are sensitive, but when I asked her to be a little more gentle, she said she is gentle and that it's my problem for feeling the pain. For the entire duration of my appt, the dentist didn't communicate much, but spoke Spanish to her assistant the entire time, leaving me confused and uninformed. When it's time for the assistant to do the polishing and flossing, instead of gently wiggle the floss in between my teeth, she literally shoved the floss forcefully causing my gum to bleed. My mom's appointment was after mine, when she was asked to fill out the long, tedious form, she didn't understand a few things/ words due to English being her second language; the staff straightly ask my mom if she can even speak English and that why didn't she bring her daughter (me) with her to fill out the forms. They then denied my mom service because she didn't fill out the intake form. My mom's been to many medical offices and filled out numerous paperwork; when she didn't understand something, the office staff most often would reword it or explain it to her, helping her finish any Intake/paperwork.
