After an excessively long wait to see him after getting my x-rays done (15-20 minute wait) I finally saw the Converse-wearing young dentist. He proceeded to point out other cavities I have, one of which had given me no pain at all... Until he came along. He then poked and prodded inside the unknown-to-me cavity for about 5 minutes, causing enough pain for me to tear up and grip the chair tight. Then he disappeared for 5-10 minutes before coming back and repeating the process. On top of all that he said he had no idea if one of my teeth would need a route canal, so he'd have to just open it up and see. Wait, what? So after all this, now I have to wait two weeks for an appointment with being able to sleep for only about 3 hours a night because of all the cavity gouging he did in a cavity that had caused me no pain prior? I think not. Going to cancel my appointment and go see my old dentist. Never had a dentist cause this much pain in the CHECKUP SESSION before...

I am having a knee replacement soon and they were very helpful with information for my future visits. Dr. Toy took the time with me and explained what needed to be done, without pressure to have extra work done that can wait for a future visit. I was surprised how balanced & reasonable my bill was. The receptionist was very helpful and explained my bill and the pre-authorization we are seeking. There are no frills at this office, just what a dentist office is all about. I am extremely comfortable in recommending this clinic to anyone seeking a fair, courteous & friendly dentist office. Hats off to all of you. Thanks for making my first visit a pleasurable one.

Need to pay for a cleaning, and don't want to pay exorbitant fees? Try a dental hygiene clinic. Did…read moreyou know that sometimes you're paying extra $$$, just because a dentist is on staff, even if you never see their face during the entire visit? If all you need is a cleaning, and possibly some x-Rays, you can lower your costs by visiting a hygienist's office. Pricing is on par with the standardized province rates, and they work with you to determine what's best for your smile. Best of all, this clinic is open in the evenings and on Saturdays, leaving you zero excuses for tartar buildup. They also will give you a price quote over the phone, which was really my main sell point. I had a friendly hygienist who was as congenial as she was a perfectionist. She made sure I left with my teeth in the best shape possible, and even though she kept apologizing for pain, I honestly didn't feel any. She had the lightest touch. No pain! At a teeth cleaning! Novel. Though I was quoted an extra $28 for a fluoride rinse, I got it at no extra charge, along with complimentary teeth whitening. Glow bowling Ross Gellar style, anyone?

They didn't try to force anything on me, and the administrative staff were all very polite and helpful in working together between my health insurance and I.
