I am the customer, but yet I am the one calling and being ignored for a product or update. Im afraid to call and ask for what I paid for or even write this review because I really want the memories from my wedding. This is not something someone should ever feel as a customer who is paying for something so sentimental! No one should have to experience that and I would love to update my review to 5 stars if I ever receive a response and get the video I have paid for. I am not the only person who feels this and I know 2 others who are going through exactly this at this very moment! So my reception was February 2019. He said it's slow season and 2 months it should be done. Ok cool. The day of, I hear nothing and they show up with 2 camera guys and I had no issues there. Well, 2 months goes by and delay... ok cool. 3 months crickets and eventually he responds says his phone is lost and ask me what songs I want... which I'm like dude I gave that to you like 2 months ago so hmmm this makes me think you havent event started... now 4 months and I message maybe 1 time a week and he says ok we shall it by end of the month. Well... now end of month and again crickets. No surprise. Meanwhile, my friends are messaging me saying he taped their wedding back in Oct 2018 and they haven't heard from him or received a video. I told him to call them and he never did. She had to ping him repeatedly. Still she has no video. We all paid in full and honestly cannot help but to feel scammed and sad and frustrated. Honestly, if it took 6 months then I wish he would just say that and have our expectations there but he didnt. And now with 2 months to 5 months and hearing no responses back and having others reach out as well about this issue makes me nervous. Shelly I really wish you could atleast be responsive and just give us realistic timelines and just communicate. Your work seems amazing and I would love to see if.

I looked a ton of videos during the interview process and I was not impressed by anyone's work except for Epic Studios. I was tearing up in the videos and I didn't even know these people. As soon as I spoke to Victor I knew that he was the videographer for us. Day of: I live in LA so Victor and I never met in person until the day of the wedding. He came in my room with his crew and introduced himself. My first impression was that he was genuine. That is one thing that I look for in people especially people that I hired for my wedding. Do not hire Blue Lotus Films for your filming needs!!…read more I hired Blue Lotus Films to make a professionally edited film of a live performance I created. The quality of the film they created was beyond unprofessional. Sarah, the lead of this company, even admitted to me in emails that some of the footage from the videographers she subcontracted was below professional standards. To name a few issues with the video: -whole parts of songs are cut off -bows and speech at the end are missing -there is shaky footage throughout whole video where it jumps off the stage and into audience, audience's heads cutting off what's happening on stage (one of the videographers was videoing "hand-held" instead of on a steady tripod) -there are misaligned end credits with incorrect titles (e.g. "production" instead of "cast) -there are black spots in the video where it goes blank -the sound file was misaligned with video in certain parts -different color/lighting from the 2 cameras that were being used (one is dull and one is bright) -there are missing key parts of the show that I requested ahead of time to capture (both on the phone and in writing) - because of this lack of following direction, there was only 1 camera shooting for about a third of the show. -corrupted files which meant that end of show was completely cut off. After all this, I requested a refund, as the footage was completely unusable, and Sarah refused. Terrible business ethics. If you want a professional video and to work with someone ethical, find another company.
