The location is right off Hickman in Waukee in the same stop mall as H's Pho (that's my reference point anyway). SUPER close to where I live. Yippee for me! When we arrived there was only one other family there. We had plenty of space to spread out with the wine and snacks we brought with. The owner did a good job of running us through the steps in the process, what materials to use, safety, and then turned us loose. Her daughter, Jennifer, was very helpful too. It wasn't what I expected in a good way. I learned how to use tools to cut glass and how to use different materials for different effects, etc. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the temperature in the store. Even with wearing an airy summer dress, I was melting. That was pre-wine even so it kept getting progressively warmer as we went along. I never asked to have the temperature adjusted but should have. This is a great place to get on with your inner artist and makes a great gift for friends and family :)

He arranged with them to have a private viewing so we were the only ones there that was really special and kind of them to do. Kyle Youngberg made the experience so fun and exciting! He worked with us to create the ring of my dreams. I knew nothing about diamonds but my fiancé had done some research and could talk to Kyle in diamond terms. They then helped teach me about all the wonders of diamonds. We looked at different diamonds under the microscope and in the sunlight to pick the perfect one! I had to get my ring re-sized after the proposal and they were so helpful once again when we went in to drop it off and pick it up. It only took two days to get it back! We looked under the microscope again so we could see its beauty again and to see the special numbers engraved on the side so we can always make sure we have our diamond.
