My all-time favorite coin store in the Des Moines area! Filled with anything and everything a coin…read morecollector, whether new or old, would ever need. Store is presented in a clean, and organized fashion. I can, and have, spent hours upon hours looking through the store and admiring everything they have to offer. Staff are EXTREMELY knowledgeable, EXTREMELY kind, and give FAIR prices for whatever I bring in. Not only this, but all of the prices for coins, stamps n' other stuff are very reasonable, but not outrageous. If you are looking to sell any coinage, jewelry, or any bullion this is the place to go!! Many coin stores will often try to lowball customers who bring in items they have no clue about, but this store IS NOT one of them. I have brought in more than a few items with my girlfriend, and being college students with no clue how much those items were actually worth and not being too involved in the passion we could've been given prices that didn't match the actual value. Instead, they gave us accurate appraisals and walked us through how they value the coins and what price they would purchase them from us. They also were not pushy about trying to buy right there at the spot (we actually kept all of them and will start collecting coinage). I'm new to the hobby; however, the staff treated me with complete respect and were willing to teach me anything that I wanted to know about. In fact, I never really expected to be interested in the hobby, but the staff made me feel welcome and actually led me to delve into the passion of coin collecting--I've even begun to coin roll hunt thanks to them!

My second favorite place to buy silver bullion!! The selection is pretty limited, compared to the…read moreshop up the street and their prices higher but I don't mind because the higher price reflects the items' higher standards. This shop tends to have Silver in great condition with good shine! Their prices don't bother me because the Silver Bullion I get from there seem to be more rare, as I can't find those designs in other shops or online. When I say "Higher", I am referring to the Silver Bullions that go for $8 over spot(Other bullions range from only a couple dollars over). I pay the extra $8 though because the rarity of the designs excite me and add nicely to my collection I will hold onto for likely many years. The staff is very friendly and patient. They buy and sell Silver and Gold with a smile! They also accept trades!
