We stopped by because it was recommended to us by more than one friend. We got burgers and hotdogs, both were excellent. The burgers have a real flame broiled aroma and flavor that make it a winner. A single is plenty for me, but I did notice some of the big guys ordered a double. They fix it " your way", so cheese , lettuce, pickles , condiments in any combination is not a problem. The hot dogs are excellent, too. Get it Chicago style for the full treatment! The restaurant is 50's decor, with a nod to Chicago. It is friendly , clean and bright with plenty of seating. They do a big carry out business, so there can be a line at the counter where you order.

We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, Danielle, who was incredibly friendly -- and funny enough, she's originally from California too! Small world! The service was great as two servers consistently checked in on me and the atmosphere was fine. The burgers are Wagyu Beef based and deeeeelicious! I ordered the Sonny Corleone which was the aforementioned Wagyu Beef topped with Swiss Cheese, Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions....fantastic! Terri ordered the Speak Cheesy Burger which was the Wagyu Beef topped with homemade Mac and Cheese and then smothered with melted American Cheese....amazing.
