This is just what is left after dumping them onto paper towels.

Ok, we actually love smash burger but stopped ordering cause they need to properly train their staff. It's been quite awhile since we ordered but decided to give them another shot. The bacon smash burgers were great! That's where that ends.... The brussel sprouts & smash tots were both SWIMMING IN OIL! It was so gross I had to throw them both out. Luckily my couch is leather or this nasty oil would have ruined it! GROSS!! If you like clogged arteries & oil soup.. go for it!

For a fast food establishment, their burgers are ok. For that reason, when we saw the Superbowl special buy one, get one for wings, we decided to try them. There were six in an order for $10.99, which is not a great price. However, $10.99 for 12, why not? Ok, but not great. The Buffalo wings were a bit dry. The rosemary garlic wings had a nice flavor but a bit salty for my taste. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

This was our first experience with Smashburger, and it won't be our last. I pulled into the parking lot and placed our order online. The order was promised to be ready in 10 minutes and was waiting for me when I arrived. While I had a classic bacon cheeseburger, my teen son had a double cheeseburger and we split a large fry. Everything was really tasty. My son and I both agreed the fries are amazing, and a large was the perfect size to split. The burgers remind me of a better quality Steak and Shake burger on a boujee toasted bun. The bacon cheeseburger totally satisfied my desire for comfort food. I'm not sure if I missed the ability to "combo" a meal and save any money. But the prices were a little salty, purchasing a meal ala cart. Especially for drinks, considering they just hand you a cup and you get your own drink.

Absolute clutter and dirty utensils and food sitting for about 20 mins while I waited. Should've seen the food all over the window too!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I can't believe what I just dealt with. The lady and another lady that both were working the front and switching to front and back...were arguing big time in front of 4 people waiting. Then the lady at the front actually was demanding this customer who had been waiting 20 mins for a single meal, be patient and then told him that he could cancel his order if he couldn't "show some appreciation" for them serving him. Then the counter to make shakes was so disgusting and they literally were all over the place...no order of anything. I'm scared to find out what my food tastes like. Either way the amount of money spent on 2 burgers over $20 just for two bacon cheeseburgers, to get that attitude from some white trash is a huge RED FLAG!

I tried to add my own cheese! Epic disappointment!

I can't even give this store a one! But it made me!!! I decided to use my credit from a door dash horrid experience and I chose smash burger. I ordered the single turkey bacon, avocado, ranch and paid for aged cheddar and brioche bun and no tomato. My boyfriend ordered the double bacon regular beef burger with bacon and red onion and aged cheddar. We also got two fries a total of 34+$. We got my bun on his burger and I got a turkey with avocado and lettuce and nothing else. He got everything but no aged cheddar. I tried store and the number doesn't work. I text the driver he says it's the restaurants issue. I wish I could say my credit from the $43 issue covered it but no I got 13$ from door dash. Well fool me once... this was the worse experience and it's no way to correct it. Unbelievable really restaurants almost went out of business during Covid and now the ones that stayed open are not worth a crap they just have corporate funding. I miss my ma and pa burger place! I tried adding m own cheese.

The only reason I gave smash burger a try was because they have sweet potatoe fries. This was a good meal, burger hot off the grill brought out, bun was fresh, sweet potatoe fries were good as well. Some kind of cinnamon honey mustard sauce would be a great addition for the fries. All in all a good experience except for the price. This meal with a small drink was $20. A little on the pricey side unless they served the cinnamon honey mustard sauce with the fries, then I would gladly pay the $20 lol.

Exactly what we needed for July 4th. We were really craving burgers and any other restaurant would have been packed. The meals we had here were what we really needed! It was nice and quiet and we got our food fairly quickly. It was so delicious! My favorite item were the sweet potato fries. Definitely coming back

    Rosmary tots. Tasty and crispy!

So this is in the spot where the Starbucks used to be. Convenient for a work lunch. Quick service with your basic burgers that you can get with chIcken, turkey, beef or black bean. Sides are good with fried pickles as an option. Nice. Seating is nice inside and outside. Chairs are not too comfortable though. I opted for the classic Smashburger triple doubled with bacon. All really good flavors. Meat was very nicely seared. Debbie tried the Baja burger which had very tasty flavors but was a bit hot for Debbie. Added a side of rosemary tots that were nice and crispy. The smash sauce was interesting. Overall a solid burger place but maybe a bit pricey. $22 for lunch for 2.

We stopped by because it was recommended to us by more than one friend. We got burgers and hotdogs, both were excellent. The burgers have a real flame broiled aroma and flavor that make it a winner. A single is plenty for me, but I did notice some of the big guys ordered a double. They fix it " your way", so cheese , lettuce, pickles , condiments in any combination is not a problem. The hot dogs are excellent, too. Get it Chicago style for the full treatment! The restaurant is 50's decor, with a nod to Chicago. It is friendly , clean and bright with plenty of seating. They do a big carry out business, so there can be a line at the counter where you order.

Great hole in the wall place…read more This is among the best burgers I've ever had. The hot dog had good flavor and was pretty authentic Chicago style. My only complaint about the food was the buns were a bit flimsy and couldn't handle the meat and condiments well. Reasonable prices and cute ambiance although there are a few finishing touches that could make it even better. In particular a couple of booths only had one side to them and there was no chair on the other side. The cashier was very friendly and patient as we navigated the menu. It must be a hidden gem because it was busy the entire time we were there on a Wednesday evening!

My husband and I stopped by The Habit Burger & Grill last night while we were in the St. Pete area,…read moreand it was such a great experience! We're originally from California and moved to Florida a little over a year ago, and ever since then we've definitely been craving The Habit. We were so excited to stumble upon this location! One of the first things we noticed was that it wasn't busy at all -- which honestly shocked us (in the best way). Back in California, every Habit location always seemed packed at all hours of the day, so this felt like a treat. I ordered the Teriyaki Char with crispy green beans, and my husband got the Double Char meal with fries. Somehow, the food tasted even better than what we remember from California! My burger was cooked to a perfect medium -- which is rare to find at a fast-casual spot -- and it made such a difference. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, Danielle, who was incredibly friendly -- and funny enough, she's originally from California too! Small world! Every employee we encountered was welcoming, kind, and made sure to greet us when we arrived and wish us a good night when we left. The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Overall, such a wonderful experience. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the Clearwater area!

That said, there wasn't much that stood out in a way that would elevate my commentary to say this is a "must-stop burger place". This is not meant to be a slight on them or their product. I would definitely come back and eat here and if someone asked me how it was, I'd say "pretty good!" But not the best burger I've ever had or even in the area. Give it a try!

The burgers are Wagyu Beef based and deeeeelicious! I ordered the Sonny Corleone which was the aforementioned Wagyu Beef topped with Swiss Cheese, Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions....fantastic! Terri ordered the Speak Cheesy Burger which was the Wagyu Beef topped with homemade Mac and Cheese and then smothered with melted American Cheese....amazing. The fries were a notch above and their Onion Tanglers were thinly cut onions rings and one gets to choose from a large list of dipping sauces...we went with Bourbon BBQ and Disco Dip. The BBQ was a sweet sauce and the Disco Dip was a light brown gravy. Both were very tasty! The Prescription Lemonade adult beverages were veeeerrrry good as well, one Strawberry version and one Blood Orange. Service was excellent...and it was a quiet place. We talked briefly with the couple at the next table as they were also "dog" and "horse" people. Overall a great experience....I found out later that they also play classic movies in their back room for a definitely unique date night option for people.
