She chose a limited time burger, The Cheesy Mac Smash, an angus burger with American cheese, smashed and griddled mac and cheese on a toasted bun. She liked it. I wasn't super hungry so I wanted to just get a side of brussels sprouts, but they were out. I chose a cup of mac and cheese and got us some tots to share. The mac and cheese tasted ok, it was just the griddled portions were hard to pull apart. It might be nice if they did not griddle it when it was just going in a cup. I got an Oreo shake. For starters I was taken aback at the price of $6.99. Then I get the shake from the staff and it's not even full. Literally below the top of the cup (including whip cream) and it had a dome lid which was completely useless since the drink didn't even come up the top of the actual cup. I'm a Smashburger fan but haven't been in awhile, stopped into this location for lunch. The food was really good, juicy burgers, smash fries were on point. Unfortunately, it's a lot more expensive than I remember, also got a cookies and cream shake, which was okay but for $7 it was on the small side. I haven't been in to one of these in a while because I had some bad experiences in the past with other locations but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu had changed but the worker up front was very helpful getting me what I wanted and she was very polite. The area was very clean as well and I got my food in a very reasonable amount of time. Alright, I'm done. I've been coming here for years and unfortunately there's been more negative experiences for me than positive. This was the last time I bother. I only order sweet potato fries, and it takes 22 minutes. I leave and get into my car, take a couple bites and find out it was cold which means they just let it sit there while taking other orders and while i was sitting there at the table next to the cash register that whole time. So I go back inside and have them remake it because I'm not going to eat cold food. The little girl working there treated me like I was stupid when I was just being patient and content about it... but 8 minutes later I get the fries hot just to find out they're completely flavorless. A little salt, but flavorless. Wish I could get my money back. If I want Smashburger, I would rather order from the Loveland location because they're a whole lot better. We ordered to go and it took over 30 minutes while we watched dine in patrons order, eat, and leave before we got our food. Also employees talked about us unfavorably when I politely asked how much longer our food would be. All our food sat in the bag under the warmers while we were told "tots were in the fryer" We would have ordered dine-in if we knew to-go orders were put behind everyone else even though we ordered in restaurant and were waiting. Horribly managed and overpriced. Three of the last four times we've been there, the employees/managers were telling customers there would be an extraordinary wait when they walked in. Customer after customer turned around and left. On our most recent trip, the manager told us it would be 25 minutes because they had a catering order and the kitchen was all tied up working on that. We thought we would wait and wanted to place our order but the manager wouldn't even take the order. Instead he just kept working on the catering order forcing us to stand by the register. Again, we saw over a dozen customers come in and leave before we eventually left in frustration. Catering orders shouldn't take priority over in-person business and catering orders arrive in advance - they should be able to staff accordingly. On top of all of that, their prices are ridiculously high. You can go to a sit down restaurant for less than what they charge and get your food faster. Other counter service restaurants are ~30% cheaper. The value and service here are absolutely terrible. read more

First, as I started to order online, I found my favorite items were no longer offered. I used to get a grilled chicken club with avocado that I really liked, and also a great salad with spinach, chicken, onion straws and both ranch dressing and barbecue sauce. They are both off the menu. I ordered a barbecue bacon burger and regular fries for pickup. When I arrived there was no one at the counter and no customers either, at 11:45 AM in a weekday. A man, evidently the manager, was loudly lecturing someone in the kitchen. He didn't stop the entire time I waited there. If I'd planned to dine in, I would have left. It was very annoying and unpleasant. An employee eventually came out and packed my order, apologizing for the yelling. The food itself was mediocre, fries and burger were both overcooked and dry. Gluten free fries/fried EVERYTHING - they don't mess up and throw wheat floured things in their fryers, and that means that ANY customer can eat it. The creative menu of burgers and sides, and more besides! The salads are the bomb!!! That means great, if you're old and don't know slang of the last 50 years. The shakes are great. Bought dinner for 7, over $100 spent. Left out was a whole kids meal- entree side and drink, as well as 2 other sides. Called to speak to manager about it and he was too busy to come to phone. The message from the manager gave the message for the guy answering the phone "call back in an hour and a half he says it's really busy right now". Great food, lovely menu and app use on yelp but the the major failure is two burgers and fries order just after 6pm on a Wednesday evening did not notify that the food would be ready in and hour and a half... until I've paid. I know the health crisis has changed everything but the bastards at Grubhub and inability to get the customer service to answer a phone. I had a hamburger and fries delivered. The hamburger was cold the fries were warm and tasty. My best guess is the hamburger was cooked first and that someone left it at room temperature while waiting on the fries to cook. It's too bad, I think it was human error that ruined my meal. read more

The fries are genius, but the service is VERY hit or miss. The last time I was here (7/1), I took my bridesmaids out to celebrate my bridal appointment. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, and then it was 20 minutes before someone came up to get our order. They didn't bring us out our water until we asked, and then it took another 5-10 minutes. We waited for 40 minutes for our food and the waiter didn't come back once. I had to walk to the bar to ask for our waters to be refilled. It was ghastly. And when I asked for more water, the bartender rolled her eyes at me. I worked in food service for 5 years (3 as a manager) and I know it can suck. It's a hard job. But this was ridiculous. I started coming to this location as it was the only one in town that accepted The Holiday Pass. I've grown to love this location. It is always clean and the service is great. There is an amazing outdoor seating area that is wonderful on warm and sunny days. The layout is ample and clean. The food is great and I've never had a bad burger or salad. I've been coming here for 3 weeks in a row and love it There are great options for children as well. My go to burgers are the Colorado, Baja, and Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger. We used to be Smashburger regulars but haven't been in since the 2020. I ordered a Cobb salad today with no shredded cheese and what I received could be deemed little more than a side salad - 3 miniscule pieces of Bleu cheese, no bacon, and the bowl was maybe 1/4-1/3 full. We asked for at least the bacon and were told "only if you paid for it". It's supposed to come on the salad! They finally gave me some bacon. Not sure if it's this location or all but now there's no "make it a meal" option either - so $40+ dollars for hamburgers. I ordered that salad for years and it was delicious and filling - I came home and ate more. No thx - we'll stick with Culver's. read more

In the continuation of my quest for burger places, I've finally made it here. I ordered the regular burger (although I really wanted a fancy one, I'm rating based on comparing normal burgers everywhere). Price was comperable to other similar businesses, although they do have coupons online so check them out before coming in - I got one for a free side! I ordered the small size, it was still quite large, and the sweet potato fries with olive oil and parmesan. The fries were good, although we sat outside and they cooled off quickly! The burger was also good - not too thick, not too thin, the bun (whole wheat) was toothy and added flavor. But overall it felt a bit lacking too - not exciting, not a real meaty taste. So overall I give it a solid 3 stars. Next time, I'm aiming for some mushroom cheese thing with a milkshake! read more

People were extremely unfriendly and when we asked for a shake not knowing it was just seasonal they made us feel stupid and said they never heard of it while scoffing at us. They made us feel inhuman and it was extremely uncomfortable. It really sucks when you leave a place feeling bad about yourself. I never leave reviews but these employees really made me feel some type of way and I am positive I'm eating at five guys from now on since this is the only smash burger near me :( read more
