Let me start with the bad, and this was months ago, but they used to seriously have crackheads working for them. When we'd go there it'd be two hours to close and one person sitting in the chair and they would deny me a cut! Saying they're all booked till close, i didn't know this was exclusive appointments only! Supposed to be convienence, walk ins, stuff like that. Anyways, stopped even trying to go there for a while, but went there last night and looky there, must be under new management cause I was told about a 15 minute wait and the girl looked totally normal had all her teeth and wasn't talking a mile a minute. Just don't waste your money unless you just want a quick trim! The girl who cut my hair, while she was nice, did not have a clue. The guy in charge tried to show her how to layer hair and she absolutely could not do it. I hate my hair cut, it's not even close to what I asked for, and I still had to pay. She said I could come back within 7 days and have it fixed free, when the guy who was trying to teach her, was finishing up on the only other person there, and could have fixed it then! Great salon with easy access to services. I have called and gotten same day appointments without a problem. Casey has cut my hair twice, is professional and did an awesome job. I just had my first color and it came out great. She spent a lot of time with me and never seamed rushed . The stylists all seem very skilled and professional. I went in here to get my hair cut today. I showed a picture of the haircut I wanted and explained thoroughly that I wanted nothing cut off the length of my hair. In the middle of the haircut it looked like a lot more was being cut off then should be and so I said again that I did not want any length cut off my hair. I was sitting in the chair, almost crying because of how short my hair was starting to look by the time the haircut was done when she asked me if I liked it there was almost 2 inches cut off. Today I went in for a color and cut. I showed a stylist there (I'm keeping her name anonymous, for respect) pictures of a balayage I wanted. I even asked her before the service if she was comfortable with balayages and she responded that she's done many and she's confident in what she's doing. I went to beauty school but never got my license. So I know a few things about hair and the process and the chemistry behind hair color. The outcome was nothing like the picture or even how a bayalage should look. It looked like an all over bleach color and the application was all wrong! I tried and stay calm and told her to just put an all over color on it. As she's doing this, she admits that she lied to me about the knowledge of how to do balayage and that she doesn't know the application or how to do it. I simply asked calmly, "well why weren't you just honest with me about it in the first place instead of damaging my hair?" She replies, "our manager forces us to not decline clients and to do the service rather we know what we are doing or not." That my folks, is not hair a stylist should be or even a business. Regis, during my time in school I heard a lot of positive things about. And stylist even came into our school and showed us classes and techniques on how to do different types of services. This location is unprofessional and liars on their knowledge of how to do hair. I would recommend no one to go to this facility at this location. I'm so upset, now I'm going to have to spend $500+ dollars on a hair color correction. I have a job, I have pride, and I like to look nice and professional. There is no way in hell im leaving my house having my hair look the way it does. She knew nothing about the chemistry of color or anything. She slapped on some brown after trying to fix it. My roots are a golden/green and the rest is a ashy jet black. Please for yourself, do not go to this place. I'm calling manager tomorrow and going to corporate if I have to in order to get my point across. I am not an evil person or a person that looks to talk down or poorly about a company.. But this must be done. She admitted to me that this location is even being sued for poor services of coloring and damaging clients hair. Hair is hair and over time i can get it to be healthy again, but the point is this company and stylist at this location are liars and do not care about clients feelings, hair, etc. all they care about is money and don't take pride in their work.
